Do not be tempted by the dollar slice. Coming from someone who eats at Two Bros with some regularity, you can trust me that this is not worth your time. It was old, cold, flavorless and small.

Ordered delivery to our hotel room. Toppings were ample(supreme pizza) and it arrived hot within 20 minutes of ordering. Of course, our hotel was only a block away so it would have been very disappointing if we had received it lukewarm.) It was a bit pricey, but considering it was New York and quality /taste was way better than that crap from Dominoes or Pizza Hut… and nothing else local was open at 10:30pm on a Monday night, it hit the spot. Only 4 stars because they did everything well. It would take something extraordinary to push a fast food pizza chain into 5-star territory.

Utter morons, they can’t even make a half and half, they can’t apologize for a mistake, and apparently it was my fault for them getting the order wrong. Making a pizza isn’t that hard, and they should learn to take allergies seriously. Avoid, it’s utter shite.

For some reason I’ve been craving papa johns lately. I don’t know why. For sure you know what you’re getting into, and it sure does hit the spot. Not quite as fast food as say Pizza Hut, but not quite as upscale fancy as Robertas or Paulie Gees either. They also deliver in about 20 minutes typically, so it feeds that instant satisfaction.

The pizza is okay, my kids love it that’s why I order it but other then that the delivery guy is annoying every time he delivers he never shuts the doors outside my building when he leaves. He could at least do that. One day he barged into my building and started banging on the doors saying papa johns delivery and I hadn’t ordered anything. The people upstairs ordered. Not a vey smart delivery guy. Close the door, be considerate of the people’s homes.

My poor delivery guy. I think it was his first night on the job. He read off my address to me correctly but somehow had ended up in the wrong part of Brooklyn. He begged me for another address and cross-street, which I gave to him, but his GPS just wouldn’t cooperate. I eventually stayed on the phone with him 5 – 10 minutes giving him step by step directions. Pizza was cold by the time he got there, but he refused to let me tip, saying he didn’t deserve it. Paying $ 15 for cold pizza sucks, but I still felt bad for him.

The pizza is fine given the price. The delivery, however, is very sloooow. The delivery time was estimated 32 – 42 minutes. I got the pizza 90 minutes later. Doubt I will order again.

Not the best Papa John’s I’ve ever had… so that’s saying something. Placed an order for pickup, walked in at the time specified, and was ignored for about two minutes. Then one of the guys asked if I was Kenny and I said yes. Can’t tell if I was being racially profiled or just the only person who had placed an order. But anyway, just got a mushroom pizza, and each slice had maybe one to two mushroom pieces on it. Good thing I like ranch dressing and hot sauce on my pizza, because that was the only way it was worth eating. I ordered through their Super Bowl promotion, which was supposed to include Pepsi Max. Had to settle for regular Pepsi because they ran out of Max. Why run a promotion you can’t fulfill?

Papa Johns has gone down hill! Maybe just this one stinks. Aside from the hour to deliver which is annoying enough, the food is cold and dry. I would have been better off with freezer pizza.

Papa John’s is Papa John’s which is always pretty tasty and a bit overpriced… and delivery time suckssss. But easy to order late with a credit card and drunk, will be tasty.

the pizza is fine. just fine. and the delivery is pretty fast. but seriously. i am just going to stuff myself with this pizza and so why do i do it? because it’s reasonably priced and extremely convenient, that’s why. don’t judge me with your stylish glasses and your big hat!

Well, it’s not horrible pizza… not a whole lot better than a Frozen Celeste Pizza which can be purchased @ any supermarket in this same neighborhood for about .99¢ at any given time. Plain & simply put, the pizza at Papa John’s SHOULD cost less… it’s not REAL Italian Pizza & it’s not made with fresh ingredients. Plus, it’s not THAT cheap(only about $ 1.50-$ 2.00 cheaper than some really good local pizza joints who use fresh ingredients). Also, the size of the pies are wack; a typical EXTRALARGEPIE in NYC is 18″. .. not 16″!!! Besides, the 16″ doesn’t even really look like it’s actually 16″. If the pizza was a couple bucks cheaper they would have many more customers. Times are rough, and people are looking for bargains more than ever.

For a pizza chain the pizza is pretty good and the cheesy bread is AMAZING(with the delicious garlic sauce).

Yeah, I understand it’s a chain, it’s blasphemy eating chain pizza in NYC blah blah blah. What P-John’s has over the others is the incredible price. Go to their website, pick from any number of readily available coupon deals, and you’ll be able to feed yourself for the next three days or a hungry party of your friends, on the cheap. Obviously, it’s not the greatest pizza in the world, but it will suffice(it’s kind of hard to make bad pizza). The wings are also decent, and I’m a big fan of the garlic dipping sauce for the pizza crust. This particular location has very reliable and speedy delivery.

I had never had Papa John’s before and man was I ohhh soooo happy that I finally did. Blew Dominos out of the oven! Kind of has that same doughy consistency but it tasted way better. The cheese, the crust, and comes with some free garlic sauce. I recommend shaking it well before trying(learning from experience and other’s mistakes LOL). Most importantly though this pizza came lightning fast. We went for the pineapple, my fav topping especially when going for a one topping deal. We thought we’d just cook up some bacon and throw it on there(which I highly recommend with some hot sauce too), but it came too fast, and smelled too good, that we scrapped that idea. We were totally happy just eating it with pineapple and hot sauce. Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed.
