New York City Percussion Academy is a community of highly skilled educators and performers dedicated to passing on the tradition of music to the next generation. Our students have performed throughout the U.S. at highly acclaimed venues. Our students work hand in hand performing with our faculty at real venues in New York City. We also follow the NYSSMA equivalency auditions, giving our students extra opportunity when applying to music programs in their future.

Hello everyone and welcome to NYC Percussion Academy!

At the Academy we focus on finding each students natural strenghts and developing those, while at the same time giving each student the general skill sets to become an advanced musician.

We hope to inspire others to pursue a musical life. No matter how serious and long, or short and light. The act of engaging one’s mind in such an activity is very fulfilling for the mind and body. There is numerous statistical data on the positive outcome of the study of music. Engaging this creative portion of your mind is something that can only be done in such an activity. What better way to do this activity than with private instruction catered to the exact needs of the person. No matter what style of music it may be!
