History

Established in 2005.

Hi my name is Charles and I’m the guy behind NYC Mobile Notary Public On Call ²⁴⁄₇. I initially chose to become a notary public as an effort to fulfill my sense of civic responsibility much like serving jury duty or working the election polls, both of which I did as well. But being a notary has become so much more rewarding than I expected. Everyday I meet so many wonderful people from so many different walks of life. It has been so interesting and so much fun. I’ve had some really interesting and rich conversations, and have even made a few friends along the way. And there are so many interesting neighborhoods in the city, such as the Lower East Side, Battery Park City, Soho and Tribeca in Manhattan. Then there’s Williamsburg, Sunset Park, and Greenpoint in Brooklyn, and Long Island City in Queens. The city is so rich in development and diversity. It’s exciting. I should have done this years ago.

I’m a former computer and business consultant, and former adjunct professor. Now I’m really doing something useful as a mobile notary. Ahhh … no stress and I get to see so much of New York, and meet so many wonderful people. I am a voracious reader and enjoy being available to the elders in my life and in my neighborhood.
