I was visiting NY and a friend of mine recommended that I check out The Common. I’m so glad I did! The space is absolutely stunning and everyone I encountered was pleasant, welcoming, and professional. I took class Dina’s class and it was a profound experience. She has a great vibe that left me feeling creatively inspired and renewed. If I ever move to Bushwick I’ll definitely be a regular here.

The Common is such a gorgeous space to practice yoga! Great energy once I walked in and everyone was very helpful, guiding me to the yoga studio, which has a beautiful mural that we faced during the class. The yoga teacher had a very versatile practice for us on the mat, and I was happy that we weren’t simply talked through a vinyasa flow. I will definitely be back for more classes and am eager to see how they will use their space for different events. I think it is definitely a space that is bringing some much needed community-​centered vibes to Brooklyn.

The Common is absolutely beautiful. Both the yoga and photography studios have a really intimate, open vibe. The co-​working space is awesome, and there is a lot currently being done to elevate the space even more. I’ve met a ton of creative people here; definitely a great opportunity to network if you’re an entrepreneur, self-​employed, or if you’re just sick of meeting people at bars.
The teachers at the yoga studio are top notch and it’s an amazing opportunity to study with some of the best teachers. There is an unbelievable deal on classes (only $ 15/​class!) and you really get the personalized attention you wish you had at any other yoga studio in BK/​NYC. The cherry on top is definitely the sound system and music played in classes.
It’s super easy/​convenient to get to. Just one block from the Jefferson L train stop. Make sure you go through the entrance on St. Nicholas. I highly recommend you try it out :)
