The food here is good as fuck. And the people who work here are nice.

Okay so another update!
I got the Aztec burger again and onion rings with garlic mayo. I asked for my Aztec burger median rare and they cooked it perfectly which was awesome. But the jalapeños in my burger were cold and hard. I also tried something new this time, the jalapeño peppers. They were meh… The reason I say that is because the jalapeños were like really hard to bite into and didn’t break off easily, so I’d bite into the «pepper/​popper» and the whole jalapeño would come right out of the crispy shell. I think in both cases if they grill the jalapeños a little bit before adding them into the burger & into the popper, they won’t be cold, or hard, and they’ll be more enjoyable.

Despite the fact that our food wasn’t very good the customer service is impeccable. The owner contacted us right away to apologize.

No no no no no. This is not what a burger place should be.
Everything I ordered disappointed. The Picante Burger must have been named that as a joke. No spice. No flavor. No good. The beef tasted like it had been prefrozen and unseasoned.
The Double Burger I ordered with turkey bacon came with only one strip. The burger in whole was so dry that the ingredients basically fell out and cracked.
Aztec burger? No sure what the fuss is about. Again, unseasoned beef, non-​melted cheese, barely any avocado — disappointing.
The only thing that was remotely tasty were the prefrozen onion rings out of a bag but I have those in my freezer at home as well.
Tonight’s dinner was just disgraceful, the delivery came fairly quickly considering the time of night and my location but aside from that, maybe the fact that they give free soda with your order… Oh wait no, they screwed that up too and sent me coke instead of diet coke.
This place does not deserve to have the word Burger in their name. Shameful.

It’s a small quaint place. A cozy place to enjoy a quick dinner. Food was good, nice thick piece of chicken in my buffalo chicken burger. The cheese fries were decent, could’ve used some more cheese though. And the jalapeño poppers, my favorite. My only complaint has to be that you cannot mix and match menu items. As someone who only eats poultry I really wanted a chicken patty with the toppings of a beef burger which sounded delish. Unfortunately they cannot accept such requests because the boss «has it set up this way» I find the very limiting for the menu options. In addition they confirmed the food is not premade, so why can’t I choose how to get the burger? They advised I can get the plain chicken burger and add the toppings I wanted from the other but at an extra cost per item… that would’ve made this one expensive burger.
Overall I would come back but the lost star is due to the no mix and match policy. shame :(

After receiving a raving review from a local about the great burgers and French fries, I wanted to try this supposedly «hidden gem.» The service is excellent and the devour is homey and clean, but the food falls short of expectations. I ordered the Aztec burger, but the burger lacked flavor and substance. The lack of avocado and sauce on the burger made it bland. The garlic fries was covered with garlic powder, which made it overly dry. The best surprise was the mixed green salad! The chicken, lemon vinegarette, mixed green, and cranberry combination was amazingly salad. I rarely order salads at a burger joint, but best decision for this restaurant.

Good burgers and fries at a reasonable price. Friendly sevice and they make milkshakes!

Wonderful local business! great ambiance, lovely staff and fast delivery. I highly suggest the cheese fries, and the chicken buffalo burger. Everything is so good at this spot. It shows in the food that the owner really cares about customer satisfaction.

Great burger! The burger was very tasty, juicy, and fresh. Great service too, this was my first time and they were willing to explain everything and give me their recommendations. Over all great experience. My only complaint is I wish they would come to my home town (Detroit)

Me and my friends all ordered different burgers and we all agree that the burger meat has no taste. Also my chipotle burger had like no chipotle sauce on it. My friend got cheese fries and they don’t put the cheese on the fries they put it on the side, which is odd. Will not order again.
I dont know how there are so many good reviews even Mcdonalds burgers have taste, its crazy how their burgers have no taste thats horrible when fast food beats you

First time coming to My House since moving to sheephead bay back in April. The environment is so awesome, hipster place but the seating layout is cool, spacious and nida at the front was very friendly. We will definitely come back for more burgers and there cheese fries look delicious

I am very impressed with the order I received today for my office lunch. I waited way too long to try this burger spot.
I ordered via grubhub since I am too lazy to call, and when I saw the array of options I was very pleased. A single burger with staples such as onions, pickles lettuce tomato ketchup and mayo was only five dollars, and its only a dollar extra for each topping you want to add on additionally [ they even have a section asking how you want your burger done]
The steak burgers which are really hefty have good options to choose from, like swiss and mushrooms, bbq burgers, burgers topped with beans or salsa [ vegetarian options], bleu cheese options and avocado toppings, or you can get a burger with chicken[ there is even a bbq version for that].
Sadly this place does not have fries to their burgers like a deluxe meal, and I think if this business had promotions like that around lunch time they would attract lots of customers.
But I have to say my single burger with jalapenos and cheese really hit the stop, it was not messy, it was not oily, all the ingredients worked well together, the patty was seasoned perfectly and it did not feel too heavy or soggy. The side order of fries which costs 4 bucks [ 6dollars with cheese on top or other spices] was large enough to share for two and it wasn’t drowning in salt or oil, the shoe string cut was very nice.
The swiss burger that my coworker ordered looked so big and delicious, it smelled really good and was oozing with cheese and mushrooms [8.95 without toppings but it is very filling]
The thai crispy chili wings had a nice kick to them and had a good balance of hot and sweet, but I think for the price of 8.95 they could give a larger portion [the 5 wings were not too filling so you are better off getting two]
Overall the delivery was not more than 30 mins and I did not have a single problem with my order. I can’t wait to try the rest of the options here!

This is my third time ordering from «My House». A pet peeve I have is inconsistency in a diner or restaurant, especially if it’s only my third or fourth time ordering. Please allow a large gap in time for those rare inconsistencies.
Today I ordered the Aztec burger. My co-​workers ordered the onion & mushroom burger and the American steak burger. All burgers are set in a briôche bun. The last two burgers I ordered, the briôche was fresh. This time, all our burgers came with stale buns. The briôche was so dry it cut my gums as I chewed. I thought maybe chef char-​grilled the bread and over did it, but there were no grill lines on underside of buns.
Today was my first time ordering using
and I used a $ 15 coupon «My House» provided. I really hope «My House» didn’t think, due to honoring a $ 15 off coupon that they could be «cost-​efficient» and provide stale bread. Just a little annoyed that person preparing food did not notice how dry this briôche was! I handed out fliers for this place and people are annoyed I recommend them. Feeling really annoyed.

Amazing burgers. Quality food, unique takes on burgers. Garlic fries were okay. No lemonade so was bummed about that but service was great. Def will be back

Finally a good and satisfying burger spot on this side of Brooklyn.
–The classic single burger was delicious, meat was tender and moist and flavorful, brioche bun was soft and light, vegetable toppings were fresh and crisp.
–Bbq burger with spicy beans was amazing. The spicy beans really added a good kick to the burger.
–The garlic fries were perfect, cripsy, and thin. The garlic powder added a surprisingly nice flavor.
–Onion rings are the classic breaded ones that most of us would remember from our nearest public school, never a bad thing imo.
–Jalapeño poppers were good, not spicy and cheddar cheese inside was good. Appetizer order of these was very large and filling.
–Order came with 2 free sodas
Cash only in store but with delivery on Unilocal can pay credit card and delivery is quick.
Overall great spot to get your burger fix, a smidge of the pricier side for a takeout spot with pricing closer to shake shack, but the food is delicious and worthwhile stop when craving a burger regardless.

I had the bbq burger– which was delicious
And my husband had a Swiss cheese burger– which was also delicious
The fries were decent
Mozzarella sticks were decent as well
The onion rings were okay (not much flavor)

Cons: The bbq burger doesn’t come with lettuce or tomato so I asked for it to be added– and to minus the American cheese for cheddar cheese instead — all these 3 items that I requested were $ 1 each!
Which blows my mind because I got my burger with one piece of lettuce, 1 tomato, and cheddar cheese which was suppose to be substituted for the American. REALLY!!! I didn’t want to say anything because the burger was tasty.
