The donuts here are great… if you come here early enough. The donuts are definitely fresh, but they do start going a bit stale towards the end of the day and options get very limited. Still highly recommended, your basic coffee/donut place.

Quick service, inexpensive prices and delicious food. The donuts are fresh and there are some great options to choose from. What more can you ask for??? I definitely wasn’t disappointed.

After much donuting(thank you NY, for your bountiful supply of donut shops), I have concluded that while I appreciate some of these third-wave-type donut places, I just want a donut. You know? Having been raised by donuts from The Donut Hole and Cambodian-run donut shops in SoCal, I shouldn’t be surprised. But after Donut Fest, where Mike’s braved the crazy snow storm, it has been cemented. Let me tell you, Mike’s has THEBEST crullers. They are seriously best donut I have ever had(need I remind you, I have done much donuting in NYC): crispy on the outside, soft and cake-like on the inside. It fills a need I didn’t know I craved. I didn’t even know a donut like this was possible. It is, to me, the apex of what a donut should be. And they have them here like they’re no big deal. And I love them for that.

Just started using them for office meetings, the staff is so friendly a very nice family owned business started by Mike the dad. The donuts are delicious and will be using them in the future for other work related events, highly recommend this gem!

Mike’s had been in Bay Ridge for years. Great donuts! They give a Bakers Dozen, which was a nice surprise. The donuts are fresh, light & airy — delicious with a wide variety from which to choose. Very affordable prices

Been checking the reviews for this place for a while now but haven’t gotten around to trying them. Finally got to today and was pleasantly surprised! They were out of mostly everything as it was late but well worth it non the less. Delicious donuts! Will def be back!

Mike’s Donuts is the BOMB! Made fresh every day and although the décor is nothing to brag about, the STAFF certainly is. They are always friendly and ready to take your order the minute you walk in; fast and always with a smile. I am always picking up Mike’s Donuts for office meetings because they are egg less and because my Team LOVES Mike’s!!! Apple Crumb are a huge hit here at work but they are all amazingly DELICIOUS. Yes, right across the street from Dunkin Donuts and yes, i would come here first before going to Dunkin; SORRY :( One more thing, if there were 10STARS I would definitely give it to Mike’s. So stop by if you are ever in the neighborhood.

Couldn’t make it to mike’s today so asked my mom to go. Jelly pom pom, cinnamon donut and apple filled donut are a must try if you ever visit. Donuts are fresh, not expensive and not cheap on the size. Will be visiting myself.

I can’t get enough of this place! The donuts are so damn delicious! Even the next day the donuts are so soft and I just can say enough good things about the donuts. My husband and I went at the end of the day, there were hardly any donuts left so we picked a few. I did not expect them to be so fresh tasting. Love this place! Will be returning.

One of the best donut shops in Bay Ridge. All baking done on premise. The jelly donuts are so good and you will be covered in sugar when your done but it’s all worth it. The marble twist is also amaing. I have gotten those right out of the oven where they are still warm inside. The corn and blueberry muffins are also light and amazing. The coffee is good and they are very fast behind that counter. Staff is friendly and helpful. In fact I am going there today today to get my weekly fix. They are inexpensive in the coffee and donut world. Check then out.

Came here based on the glowing reviews. We got there a bit late on Sunday, maybe around 1 or 2. Unfortunately our options were limited to the generic glazed, chocolate frosted, vanilla frosted and some others. We were really in the mood for some gourmet donuts but got 6 anyway based on the reviews. The donuts were good, not the best. This is more of a small coffee shop more than anything else.

Donuts made fresh on premises. What an idea! Mike’s has been around forever, and it looks like it. This place reminds me of my childhood. They aren’t trying to lure you win by their décor or fancy signs. Instead, they focus on fresh, made from scratch donuts. I’ve tried Jelly pom-pom, crullers, coconut, and old fashioned. I’ve never been disappointed. If youre in the neighborhood and you want a donut, this is the spot. Spread the word!

Wonderful doughnut shop in Brooklyn. Friendly attentive service and all their doughnuts are made fresh daily. You get a old school feel when walking in and the people there were so friendly. Great prices for doughnuts too. You definitely get your bang for your buck with quality doughnuts. Also a nice coffee or iced coffee is had here too. My go to items though are the old fashioned and crawler. Crunchy fried crisp outside and a nice moist cake inside doughnut. The way it should be. Also a wonderful apple crumb with a great crumble topping and apple filling in the yeast type donut. Also wonderful jelly doughnuts as the raspberry one had a great filling and the yeast donut as airy and soft. Also a wonderful raspberry and cheese danish. Flakey crust with a great cheesy raspberry filling. Yum i’m a fan.

I have eaten here a couple of times… reminds me of the place my mother used to take us as children when we would buy cloths. I really didnt like the shopping part but the doughnut part was the best. I had a coffee roll or cinnamon bun whatever you like to call it, it was huge and sticky but so friggin delishious. The prices are really great for the quality of assorted treats here. I didnt try the coffee just the green tea in the box, but maybe next time. It seems the size stays the same here not like chains that offer less for more money on your doughnuts. Great neighborhood spot and really friendly service!!!

Mike’s Donuts is figuratively the Peter Pan Donuts equivalent of South Brooklyn. There, I said it. There is no substitute and let it be known that they make their donuts fresh daily on-premises. Everything looks and smells wonderful and as with establishments that’s been around since 1976, they have a huge following. Let me say this– I’m now one of them. Of course, as with most businesses from the ‘70s, their décor is also stuck from that era. There’s not much to look at. WiFi? Creature comforts? Don’t ask about it. Customer service is friendly but atypical of Brooklyn, heavy handed, so get a clue as to what you want to order, pronto! What they lack in ambiance, they make up for in their product– donuts, which they pride themselves on, and they don’t disappoint. They have a good selection but nowhere near as many or as appetizing as old-school favorites from Peter Pan Donuts, to which I compare Mike’s to directly. This is not to say they fall short on anything in any way. Sometimes less(choice) is more. I’ve bought the chocolate, crumb and pom pom donuts and they’re as good as I’ve remembered them every single time. Tasty, not oily, solid texture but soft. As with donut/coffee shops, they offer other things too like croissants and bagels for your breakfast needs. For everything else there’s always Dunkin’ across the street but why would you bother with that? This definitely ought to be on your radar when you’re in Bay Ridge and on the hunt for legitimate donuts.

Love this place! Doughnuts so fresh that I gave up on DD which is directly across the street! They also have bagels made on premises. Besides the delicious doughs, the prices are my best friend here!

The workers were really helpful and friendly. I bought a half-dozen doughnuts to go, but noticed that the dining area seemed clean and it wasn’t too crowded. The doughnuts themselves were good, although a little dry/stale. I bought them at 9am on a Sunday. The prices seemed really reasonable compared to other nearby suppliers. Plus, I’d prefer to buy local than support a chain. I don’t eat a lot of doughnuts, but if I’m in the mood again, I’ll definitely head back!

Good donuts for the cheapest prices around! Boston crème, apple crumble pie, french cruller, plenty to choose from. Donut holes are 15 for $ 1! And they are so much better than munchkins! They make their own donuts, muffins, and danishes. Everything is so fresh! You can get a baker’s dozen for $ 6.75! Take that Dunkin’ donuts!
