Typical hole-in-the-wall bar… with an overwhelming smell of fried food. I went on a Friday night. Ir was a mixed crowd, DJ, and a random karaōke song. The drinks were a bit overpriced, but the food is reasonably priced as are the pool tables. My group shared food. Crab skins were okay, nothing to write home about. Steamed shrimp were fresh. Honey mustard wings were delicious.

I give this a five star because in it’s category, Maynards Café is tops. Yes to the corner bar feel but … lots of space and good food — again in it’s specialty — Maryland food! Which means there is some frying going on. And prices are very reasonable and the service was great. Maryland style — really enjoyed Old Bay fries and crab cake sliders and good cole slaw! Look forward to returning.

I love Maynards. The food is spectacular from: jumbo lump crab cakes to chicken quesadillas or a turkey club you can never go wrong with the perfect bar food. They have karaōke at least 5 times a week. There are good singers bad singers country R&B rap oldies. All a part of the lineup. There is a diverse crowd, everyone is nice, owners are awesome, can’t go wrong. You will definitely have something to talk about the next day and did i say the food was spectacular!

Corner bar feel. Looks like they’ve got live music. Had the gyro with a side of broccoli. The gyro was absolutely fantastic and jam packed with meat. The broccoli was cooked to within an inch of its life but that could just be a preference thing. Overall good experience.
