She is very kind friendly and the prices are very reasonable, the salon is personable and a Park Slope Brooklyn Valuable Spot for sure!

Great kids’ cuts! Brought my 5 yo daughter here for a trim and Lana was great with her. Brought up her bangs and freshened the bob on her baby-​fine hair with a super cute result. And all for $ 13 — which is half of what I normally pay. So she didn’t get to watch a video, and there were no novelty chairs or balloons, but the quality of the cut was totally there. We’ll definitely be back!

Would not recommend for men’s cuts. Lady who gave me my haircut carved me up pretty bad with the clippers. I had scratch marks on the back of my neck for over a week after, that I didn’t notice until I got home. Plus, the haircut itself wasn’t great. Haven’t been back since, and would not go here again.

Good haircut. I wanted a simple trim. I was surprised to pay $ 40 for a 15 minute haircut with no blowdry. I wouldn’t go back.

For many years I have been going to other hair salons with pretty décor and attractive and stylish people and been disappointed with the lackluster haircuts I received for $ 60 and up. I am a man. I am your average non «fetch» male, so $ 60 is kind of crazy.
I previously tried to get haircuts in Chinatown but I ended up looking like I came in on a time machine from the 1950’s. Awful.
The lady who works here dispenses extraordinarily meticulous haircuts with attention to style for $ 15. Outrageous. I don’t know but can imagine some of the most contemporary fierce haircuts will not be known to her but she also does not give boring military style bowl haircut knockoffs that you will get at discount hair salons and barber shops.
She pays attention to detail. I can’t believe how meticulous she was in evening out my sideburns perfectly and making sure there was no unwanted asymmetry in the style while ensuring there was at least some interesting texture going on for a haircut of the shortness I wanted.
She’s friendly and will talk if you want or leave you alone if you want. It’s very clear this isn’t a «side gig to pay for my acting career» for her. She’s got 30 years experience and it shows.
I hope she never finds out the value to cost ratio she gives out. Maybe that’s selfish of me but for $ 15 I expect far less. Medussa may have some way hot women (and men) working there and great décor but I’m sorry: they’ve lost me to LeonOla.

Lana is the best at what she does… I came in for highlight and haircut and am so pleased with her work. She is very friendly, the salon is personable and a neighborhood gem. She frequently has specials, so I got a free haircut with highlights as part of a summer promotion. Lana takes her time, is great to talk to and just does an overall wonderful job!

LeonOla know what they are doing. I was greeted kindly, and asked in detail what I want and how i normally «style» my hair. I have thick wavy/​curly hair and don’t always know what is best, but I am so pleased with the cut I got. I appreciated the attention to detail, and felt that i was heard.
