Fun store with a variety of cool and unique items. A great spot to pick up a gift for a friend, and they have a nice selection of cards with a sense of humor to them. I wish I knew someone with a baby, as they had several cute onesies I’d love to give as gifts! The store has a good fashion jewelry section as well — I couldn’t resist picking up a couple of pieces for myself. :-) The owner, Kate, is awesome and welcoming. She’s happy to answer any questions you might have but doesn’t make you feel any pressure to purchase. I love supporting small businesses like these, run by nice people with a penchant for the creative and eclectic. Hope Homebody Boutique is around for many years to come!

v good. I came here to get some things for my host mother in Japan and was impressed with their eclectic goodies. I ended up getting her a beeswax Buddha candle. There were a lot of things to select from. If not for the fact that the stuff is so cool /​nice-​looking /​well-​made in most cases I would say its kind of like a knick-​knack shop. But a very cool, nice knick-​knack shop.

I love this store! The selection in there is remarkable and everything is so chic! Great place to get gifts for friends. Lovely lady who ran the shop was super nice as I spent time going over every detail. You don’t see hip gifts like this anywhere else. A MUST see.

Homebody is my go to whenever I need to buy a gift for someone. Unfortunately I want so many of the items there for myself! It is a well curated store and my visits there always put me in a good mood. I never see the same old thing that so many gift-​y shops sell, plus the owner is a bad ass who happens to be super hospitable and welcoming.

I popped in after my girlfriend hinted that she liked a pair of earrings here. The owner immediately knew what I was referring to, and even remembered my girlfriend stopping in from weeks earlier.
A great boutique with numerous cool/​quirky items, covering jewelry, art, home goods and more. I definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

one of my latest and soon-​to-​be favourite discoveries on the slope so far. the owner is a complete doll and has carefully curated her wares so well! i picked up an awesome kitschy notebook here but already have 5 more things on my «to buy» list.
if you’re looking for quirky, unique goods, this is the shop to hit up. prices aren’t cheap but the goods and quality are top notch, so it’s definitely worth what you pay.

Homebody Boutique, you rule. No really, you are my favorite little store in the slope.
I happened upon this little gem on my way from Music Matters heading to Brooklyn Comics down the block, and oh how happy I am that I stopped inside. Similar to an Etsy popup shop in that most of goods here are hand made and perhaps locally produced (?). My love affair with this wonderful little boutique started out innocently enough, a ring here, a coaster set there but now if I don’t stop in at least once a month to pick up something my apartment feels plain and flat.
Check this shop out people, it wont disappointing!

This is by far my favorite store in park slope! It has a wide range of items: greeting cards, jewelry, pillows, toilet seats, EVERYTHING! And there is truly something for everyone, with items ranging from the beautiful and delicate to the kooky and bizarre. Case in point, I have bought gifts here for my mother who is conservative and in her 60s, as well as my super artsy, dark-​humored friend who’s in his 20s. The owner is always on hand to help you pick out the perfect gift, and she’ll even wrap it for you. Definitely a place to check out. Shop local, people!

This place is fantastic. I purposefully walk by it when I go home from the Y on 15th because it is also amazing to see what new stuff is in. They always have the most creative and unique stuff and for the second year in a row will be my Christmas go-​to. I’m not sure you could pin down their aesthetic, it’s sort of arts & crafts meets Tim Burton occasionally, but also a more creative and attractive selection of home décor than say, something like West Elm.
The last thing I bought was a candle-​stick holder in the shape of a curled tentacle as a gift for my brother, and it is so incredible looking. One day I’ll be able to afford the shark toilet seat.

I absolutely love this place.
I have a growing collection of baby head glasses (from which to creepily drink wine from), and a rapidly expanding jewelery box thanks to this place. Everyone compliments my bullet earrings!
If you’re looking for a unique home accent, or a striking piece of (moderately inexpensive) jewelery you should check this place out.

This place is totally awesome if you need a not-​super-​expensive-​but-​still-​good-​quality gift. The selection is unusual and if you like to find things that you can’t get in every other place, look here. Have been here many times for gifts and it never disappoints. Also, we have the rat toilet seat in our bathroom and it’s kickass.

I dropped by Homebody Boutique since I live nearby and walk past often. The crazy things inside had intrigued me for a while, so I decided to check it out. The owner was very nice and had good background info on the items I looked at while browsing. While some of the pieces were a bit too much for my design aesthetic, I could see them fitting nicely in others’ homes. Lots of things were the perfect combination of funky and attractive. I was especially amused by the book, The Baby is Disappointing, and wished I knew someone who would appreciate it and was expecting. I ended up buying an angry robot mug which makes me smile every time I use it. I’ll definitely be back for more as I figure out what else to put in my place!

Lovin’ this newish local business: Homebody Boutique on 7th Ave, between 15th & 16th st. Just wanted to give a 2 thumbs up shout out for a wonderful, struggling, very friendly business w/​awesome merchandise. I don’t know the owner and never knew the place existed until today because it’s passed where I usually walk. They have housewares, décor, jewelry, etc, many handcrafted and from local artists. The aesthetic of many items are in the vein of Anthropologie (one of my fav. stores). Worth the walk, if you don’t live that far south. Love what I bought there & plan to shop there for future gifts. Just a reminder to support great local stores with friendly service (because sometimes I need a reminder to do that instead of ordering things online).
