I had their samsa and pilov with my friend. Being honest we both couldn’t eat that. It was greasy. I have no idea how people eats this much oily food :( We didn’t had a good experience. Sorry for writing honest review.

Great spot. The food was excellent and the service was right on target. If you like a hearty soup, tasty plov, and juicy shish kabob, check this place out!

THISPLACESERVESSHIT! The service is horrible I sat there for 3 hours and didn’t even eat. The meat was rotten, and undercooked. We ordered 1 of 10 things. We were charged double of 4 things. They tried to screw us 50 dollars. There was only 4 of us and the charged us with a service charge. They are only supposed to do that for 6 or more people. Basically it sucks balls. Don’t come here.

The place is still new so I keep waiting for them to get their act together. So far we have ordered delivery from here a few times, did a pick up and a sit down dinner. For delivery and pick up, each time something was missing. When we called about the missing item from delivery order, they fixed it by sending over the missing salad and then taking it off the bill. Very proper and nice delivery guy as well. For sit down dinner it was a disaster. People had to wait 1 ½−2 hours to receive their entrée. Everyone’s food came out at different times and even the same orders looked totally different. For example, we had 3 orders of roast chicken, they all came out totally different shades and sizes. Some people went home because they couldn’t sit around and wait so long for food. Total disaster. The only good thing about dining in is that they use real nice china especially for the tea. But that’s about it. The food itself is pretty decent. Manti are the best. Some of the kabobs are good like the lamb shashlik. The shrimp variations are popular as well. My suggestion would be to do delivery or pick up, definitely order the manti, and check that you received everything. If they brushed up on their service it would be a cool local spot to hang out for small groups. But I don’t see anyone caring much about how the place is ran.

If it wasn’t for the food I would have given this place a one star. Believe me– I wanted this place to be good. The service here is terrible. I came on an afternoon with no one else in the restaurant except me and 2 other customers which should be an indication you would be getting better service since the wait staff isn’t busy with a large crowd. But no. The orders were taken relatively quickly which was good. I can tell that the staff didn’t speak English well and it seemed like they didn’t know what I was trying to convey. They didn’t ask if we wanted any drinks and when we received our dishes our glasses were still empty. I guess they don’t offer free tap water. Food was pretty good, interesting flavors certainly different from the other neighborhood restaurants. A little bit on the salty side but it is personal taste. The lazzat salad had a mesclun mix with beef mushrooms with a soy sauce vinaigrette topped with nuts and a sort of dried potato(Waiter said there would be potatoes on it so I think it might be dried potatoes). I rather liked the vinaigrette it mixed nicely with the mushrooms and meat. Also ordered the chicken stroganoff which was nice and creamy however it didn’t come with any pasta(rice or any carb) on the side which was weird and disappointing. At this point thirst hits and I try to flag someone down for water. Everyone was in the kitchen no wait staff actually attending to the current customers sitting outside. Why is everyone in the kitchen??? Took a while and finally ordered a mineral water. Played the waiting game again for someone to get out of the kitchen so I can ask for the bill. Finally the bill is received but they charged the wrong price on the mineral water instead of $ 2.50 it was $ 3.00, asked but the waiter and he explained that it was due to computer problems because they used to hand write the orders then just walked away. Mind you it says $ 2.50 on the menu. Tip(10%) was calculated in with the bill. They asked once if everything was okay and that was when I asked for the bill, sigh. I wanted to enjoy this restaurant but it just didn’t work out.
