Laundry On 3rd

This place is horrible. The management and employees are rude and unhelpful, they have bedbugs so beware dropping off your clothing for pickup service… And lastly the employees respond with physically threatening messages in response to bad Unilocal reviews THAT INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS. If you have used pickup/​delivery service. they look you up and threaten you and your home. I am reporting them to the better business bureau, and the POLICE.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!

Ok, I finally get the bad reviews here: I had my clothes picked up at 9am this morning and was promised same day delivery (which I’ve always gotten every time I’ve used them in the past 5 years). I was surprised that they weren’t here by 8:30pm as usual, so at 9pm I called and was told the store was closed, the delivery guy had gone home, and basically tough shit. I explained that they had literally all of my socks and underwear and that tomorrow morning is not, in fact, ok because I have to go to work, and they HUNG UP ON ME. I think it goes without saying that I’m never using them again.

I retried them in Feb 2014: Still the same. I used them for several months, once a week. I have my laundry picked up and delivered. Basically, they lose one article of clothes per week, and often send someone else’s items. Their cleaning is truly terrible. The towels come back and if you inhale, they smell. Simple stains like toothpaste remain on your clothes forever. Victoria the manager claims she uses Tide and Bleach, but that is a blatant lie (unless it is Tyde and Bleech). The laundry bags always come back with holes in them since they use staples to attach the receipts and drag the bags on the sidewalk. A truly terrible business that I would be happy to see shut down.

I always see their van in my ‘hood when I’m coming home from work, so figured they would be the best place to work with my schedule… unless you never want to see your clothes again. Granted, pick up was fairly simple. I called on a Sat morning and they picked up my stuff about an hour later. I was promised delivery Tuesday evening. An entire week went by… every time I called I would either get a busy signal or the phone would constantly ring. Finally, the following Monday I talked to an actual person who promised delivery that night. Monday came and went. Tuesday, once again promised delivery that night. I called around 6 and they promised delivery around 7. 7:30 I called again, was told he was running late… I should expect him around 9. Again no show. I finally got my stuff back Wed… no apologies, no discounts. Thank you for wasting my time Laundry on 3^rd. And for the poor customer service and lack of professionalism. You lost what would have been a loyal customer.
