Dr. Korngut is everything you want a health professional to be: technically skilled, fabulously smart, warm, caring, and honest. And he actually cares about you as a whole person. His office is serene and unhurried, and his staff is exceptionally pleasant. It’s actually a pleasure to have an appointment.

For intricate work, this guy is worth it as he does a good job. DON’T go here for a cleaning, it is well over $ 200 for the checkup and cleaning combined and the cleaning is very light and not vigorous. Overall the prices are very high… While competent at involved services, I would not go here for cleanings every 6 months and spend over $ 200 for what amounts almost to me strenuously brushing my own teeth.

Great dentist, I’ve been using him for years. Puts a lot of care into his work and is just a genuinely nice person. Highly recommend!

I appreciate Dr. Korngut so much! He’s honest and won’t recommend an expensive treatment you don’t really need. I have sleep apnea(you stop breathing in your sleep), and I was referred to Dr. Korngut by my sleep apnea doctor, because Dr. Korngut makes oral appliances(you wear it in your mouth, kind of like a retainer I think) that help people with sleep apnea keep their tongue from blocking their throat so they can breathe properly. I made an appointment to come in, and I asked the receptionist some questions to try to find out whether this oral appliance would be paid for my insurance. I got a call back from Dr. Korngut, and he was very warm and friendly and spent so much time with me on the phone, answering all my questions — AND, he actually talked me out of coming in at all! I was planning on coming in for a $ 175 consultation and was considering getting a $ 2500 oral appliance(or at least the $ 400+ trial version), but Dr. Korngut was very honest and explained that in his opinion the other treatment I’m currently using for sleep apnea(a cpap) is far superior. He told me that if that’s working for me, I might want to just save my money and stick with the cpap. So that’s what I did! It seems strange to write a review of a dentist who never actually treated me… But you know you can trust a doctor(dentist) who goes out of his way, spends so much time answering your questions and actually tells you when you DON’T need to come in.
