History

Established in 2006.

Started as an online only business, Jane’s Closet opened its first brick and mortar in form of a pop-​up store (extended) in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. With a focus on very feminine wear with a sprinkling of edgy seduction, Jane’s Closet carries an assortment of local and international designers from Corey Lynn Calter of LA to Darling of London. For northsiders in Williamsburg Jane is conveniently located at 60 N 6^th st. For those heading southside check out Jane’s 2^nd location on 135 Grand st.

In June of 2006 Jane took a daring bet and started Jane’s Closet, an online boutique based completely on one person’s sense of fashion. Despite no retail experience Jane’s Closet found success by selling a unique mix of girly fashion with a dash of sexy from a varied line of small designers. Jane originally came from a theater background and likes to view her stores as a stage from which girls can come and find their dream dresses and feel pretty, sexy and just all out lovely.
