My fave bodega in the neighborhood! They make great sandwiches, and the staff is friendly.

Pretty solid sandwiches at very reasonable price. The Italian is very good. And for a little deli bodega they have unusually good bread.

Best sandwich spot in Greenpoint. I recommend the Green-point, the Martha, or anything else… they’re all good.

Tasty, cheap sandwiches with vegetarian options. Takes forever for them to make, but is because they make it carefully.

Not the best deli but it by far not the worst. Their sandwiches are a hit or miss(it depend on who is working. I have waited 2 mins to 15 mins on a sandwich. But I really don’t complain because everyone has their off days and not everyone can make food and ring people up at the same time. They do have some good products in there and take people’s recommendations on what to bring in. I asked for a particular brand and type and they now stock it even tho the deli next door has them I still go to them small delis will always be more welcoming and comfortable. Would give it five stars but that would show favoritism. They could prove still.

First off the wait is ridiculous, there was no communication as to when the sandwich I ordered was going to ready. It took over 20 minutes and there was only 1 other person in the place. Second the sandwich tasted mostly of bread. The amount of meat and substance of the sandwich was sad. Total disappointment, I’ll stick with going to God Bless Deli or Hizam Deli & Groceries on Greenpoint and Manhattan Ave.

really nothing special except for a few more ingredients than some delis. expect 15 minutes and 6 bucks for a sandwich. and yeah, it really did used to be better.

This is a very special deli with very special sandwiches and friendly staff. They will put avocado and alfalfa sprouts and cucumber on your Sammy. Get the Martha or Tasmanian sandwiches. all of the, are great though. i have eaten literally hundreds(thousands?) of them. Also, affordable.

Food is cheap and delicious. The variety of vegetarian sandwiches far exceeds other options in the area. The New Mexico warms my heart. Customer service isn’t great, sometimes so bad that I question coming back, but it’s really all about the food, so I find myself a frequent customer.

Great if you are in a bind and need to use the internet, print a few pages(cost effective!) and grab a coffee/yummy breakfast/grocery needs. Great staff and service too!

This is my first review, so bear with me. All right, well, I work down the block at a body shop and I call them almost everyday, multiple times because the people here can eat, and they eat a lot. There are multiple people who work there, so it’s nice to hear a variety of voices that vary from day to day, each of whom are very friendly and competent. You could say I’m somewhat of a regular and enjoy just kicking it when I go there to pick up the food more than once a day. Very good service, very nice workers, a lot of fun to pick up. If you live or work in Greenpoint, this is the place to go for lunch.

Everyone needs to understand that this is best enormous-sandwich venue in Greenpoint. That’s really end of the conversation. Unassuming with its disintegrating awning, tucked back into the far reaches of Franklin St., this tiny bodega produces what I think I’m comfortable saying is my favorite sandwich ever. Yes, I said it. It’s the New Mexico. Giant sub roll, a generous stack of fried-eggplant slabs, bean dip, melty pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, lettuce and tomato, pressed like a panini. Something magical happens with the chemistry of these ingredients. And part of the ritual is saying I’m only going to eat half, and then shamelessly going for the win and eating the whole thing. Highly recommended. Worth a special trip, if you like sandwiches.

The place is ordinary and so are the sandwiches(well, at least the A-Dolf. I suppose I can’t judge all 40 or so of them). And apparently they take forever to make your sandwiches so you should call ahead and pick it up later. And this place has supposedly become worse since the management changed hands, but I never ate here before with the old owners.

First off, this is the best deli in the world. I go there just about everyday for lunch and get a creamy, delicious, bland, cold, long, dry, hot, spicy, disgusting nong sando.

I was first introduced to FCC when I moved to Greenpoint, and took my first walk down Franklin Street, and my wonderful friends who helped me move(seriously, friends that help you move are amazing!) told me «THISDELIRULES.» I took their word for it, and started going there every so often for breakfast sandwiches and they were right! Franklin Corner Café rules! Now, I guess I moved to Greenpoint a little too late to experience the real glory days of FCC — everyone else on Unilocal says the new owners suck. Well, I don’t really find any problems with them! Although I mostly stick to the breakfast sandwiches, I’ve gotten a regular sandwich every so often from there and was pretty satisfied. I like that they have a lot of vegetarian options. In short: convenient, cheap, good food, good selection of other bodega goods — nothing to complain about!

Hey, this place is basically just a bodega with a huge variety of interesting sandwiches with funny names(like«Jerry» or «the Caribbean») on the menu, that the guy behind the counter probably doesn’t know how to make. If you order a sandwich they’ll probably pick up a menu to see what’s on it and then slowly put it together. Usually they do a pretty good job but it can be kind of a crap shoot because sometimes they won’t put enough meat on it or maybe they forget one of the ingredients. In general though, the sandwiches are decent and a lot of them have ingredients that you don’t normally see at a corner deli. They have a sandwich called«Alex» that has turkey, cheddar and potato salad. I ordered it once because that’s my name. The service at this place is pretty friendly, the food is good, and an autographed picture of David Lynch on the wall adds a touch of sophistication.

Every morning, before my coworker moved, I would meet him outside Franklin Corner Café before our ride came to pick us up. Every now and then I’d get a pack of smokes, or a Naked juice. The deli, despite its autographed photo of David Lynch, was merely a meeting place. A meeting place with an ATM. One morning, after a day of strong antibiotics, I became flushed. My stomach started stirring. I knew there was little time to waste. I rushed inside, begged to use the bathroom, and they courteously showed me through a rickety door and what followed was probably one of the more horrifying experiences of my life, and the same probably goes for the staff. I did not enter the deli for months. When I finally mustered the courage to return, this time for a sandwich, I was amazed by the menu. There are like a million options, which is NOT good for an indecisive person such as myself. I finally settled on something with turkey, pepper jack and jalapenos. My only beef with this sandwich was that it was LADEN with mayonnaise. It was dripping off the sandwich. And the same goes for every other sandwich I’ve bought from this spot, save the tuna, sprouts, and avocado on a croissant. But they asked me if I wanted mayo on it. My advice? Get any sandwich on the menu. If it includes mayo, tell them *just a little*. Gorge yourself. Enjoy.

One of my coworkers loves their Nong sandwich. It’s something like tuna fish, jalapenos and cheese. Since that sounds totally gross, I haven’t gotten it yet. But I’ve had their other sandwiches, and they’re pretty good. I had a Chicago that was pretty good. Their Italian-esque sandwich was alright. Nothing really to write home about, but it was adequate. Their heroes are a little strange — the bread feels like plastic, or somehow fake. Maybe it’s me. Oh, and half of their bottles of Snapple are frozen right in the fridge. You’d think someone would take them out…

Update: The new owners have NOIDEA what they’ve taken over. Nor have they any idea how to run a sandwich shop at all. Frequent responses to ordering from their(long-standing) menu: * ‘I don’t know what that is.’ * ‘We don’t have that sandwich today’(they are all made to order, mind you) * ‘What is that?‘ They’ve taken all the old recipes and perverted them. The service and the product are abysmal. A true classic died when Louis and Andre sold this place.
