Four Season Beauty

Came here for a pedicure yesterday. The place is dirty and old looking. Not a place I would normally go to. The ladies were nice enough.
Pedicure = $ 13
No idea if the tools were clean that they used. Didn’t really scrub or put much effort into it, BUT my nails really do look nice.
Overall it was a good experience, but I won’t be back.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. Sucking her teeth everytime SHE messed up my nails (tips), didnt apply the oil after filing (before washing hands). No hot towel dry, no lotion, no little massage. Then tells me to dry my nails first beforeee the clear coat o_​O so she could go eat her banana and talk up a storm to coworker. Why would i dry my nails to then paint em and dry again. Made no sense. No music. Dead silent. It was the lady with a black mole in her nose. NEVER AGAIN. Go somewhere else.

The wait is long. They don’t sterilize their tools for nails. They didn’t renew the water per customer. The price is great, but the only reason I came here was because Pinky nails down the block was full. If you can, go to pinky nails!

I just moved into the neighborhood and after trying tons of nail salons I discovered a hole in the wall. This place is not luxurious but they do a great job. I love how the manicurist never rush through a pedicure or manicure. Prices are incredibly cheap and the ladies are always smiling.

I’ve been going to Connie for years, mainly for waxing. I used to get Brazilian, full leg and eyebrows. She was always fast and painless. And she wouldn’t be satisfied until it was perfect. I moved from Brooklyn to NJ and tried a few places here and nobody is even close to being as great as she is. I now make special trips to bk just to see her and yes the toll and gas are worth it. She takes her time with my eyebrows and always gets a perfect shape which nobody else can seem to do. That alone makes me feel like a human all over again since I can’t come as often as I would like to anymore. It’s not the fanciest place but it’s clean and Connie is wonderful and I love that she actually speaks English! (Unlike most other Chinese salons in the area). I haven’t tried any other employees there so my review is only for her.

I’ve been coming here for a year and half now for my eyebrows and nails. They do the job and it’s the cheapest place for mani-​pedi for 16 dollars. Eyebrows are 6 dollars not including tip and Connie does it the best! Sometimes I get the regular staff and sometimes I get the newbie but I give everyone a chance.

I have been going here for a few months. I love the time Connie takes to ensure my French mani/​pedi is just right. Although, I came in late one day she didn’t rush and my nails looked superb!

The people who work there are mostly pretty nice but I always either bleed from them filing/​cutting too much or I get irritated at them filing at nails that are clearly too short to keep filing. The girl that did my nails who had a station towards the back of the salon did the best painting job I’ve had in… I don’t even know how long. Maybe ever. The woman all the way in the front who runs the show did my nails and they came out okay but not flawless. I will no longer get manicures here because they are not sanitary, but instead probably go for polish changes if I must. The woman all the way in the front also does the eyelash extensions. I was pretty disgusted by the fact that you lay down in a bed that has a blanket on it and it looks unsanitary and even feels it, making the whole experience uncomfortable off the bat. The process takes too long and she got glue in my eye. The results aren’t bad but for eyelash extensions I’ll go elsewhere. The last time I went for a polish change the woman all the way in the front was terlling me the lady who does the facials has a lot of clients because she does such great work. She then proceeded to comment that she noticed my ‘pores’ on my nose and that she could help me. I didn’t appreciate that because my pores are not clogged. I have very fair skin. Just because your pores are visible it does not mean they are black/​clogged. I think she was also trying to say that my freckles were acne. I am almost 8 monthes pregnant and she starts trying to give me advice about getting a bikini wax because it’s more sanitary for the birth process. NOTHING ABOUT YOUR SALON IS SANITARY. WHY WOULD I LET YOU ANYWHERE NEAR MY BIKINI AREA? I mean I don’t even feel protected from bacteria with my clothes on why would I ever take my clothes off? Not to mention their staff doesn’t use face masks which is weird. When she was doing my eyelashes she was blowing on my face to dry them and her breath stunk like feces and I gagged. Thankfully she stopped or I may have lost my temper. I am aware most of these Chinese nail salons are not sanitary but that takes it to a new limit, you DO NOT blow on someones face. Disgusting. brush your teeth.

I love this place! Yes, it is not a spa-​like luxurious place but they do a fantastic job. My nails always look professionally done and lasts over 2 weeks. I always try to get it re-​done every two week when schedule permits but even when it doesn’t, they are still intact.

Always does a great job every time I come to do my brows. Staff are very friendly and will give suggestions.

I will never, never come back to this nail salon. Ever. I always thought their service was pretty consistent, but not until I came 3 weeks ago.
I came in and asked how long the wait would be, they told me not long at all, so I chose my color and waited patiently for 5. 10. 20 minutes later. Okay, so honestly, it was late and I was in dire need of my mani/​pedi so I really had no choice but to wait. Fine, I’ll let it go. The «manager» of the salon who sits by the cash register — whatever her name is, decided she was going to actually lift a finger and do my nails. Pffft — what a joke!
She started taking my polish off and half way in between, ran to the back room to tend to one of her friends who came to visit her. Not only did she leave, but SHE HANDED ME THE COTTON BALL AND ASKED ME TO REMOVE MY OWN NAIL POLISH. Are you serious? I didn’t come here so I can service myself!.. Then when she came back and took a look at my nails. She said to me, «you didn’t take all of it off». WELL, LADY, IT’S YOUR JOB! NOT MINE!
She then proceeded to run around the nail salon some more as she had her friends to take care of. Talk about rude? After barely working on my nails for 45 minutes, she passed me on to two other nail technicians who worked on my mani and pedi at the same time because they were closing. I stuck through the entire 2 hour ordeal because I desperately needed my nails done, but I will find myself dead before I find myself back at this salon!

The best value for great quality beauty services!
I have been coming here for the last five years, and their quality of service has remained excellent this entire time. I have had waxes, eyelash perms, acrylic extensions, regular manis, pedis, and gel manicures done here.
Pinkie usually does my eyelash perms with great results that last a month. They only charge $ 15 dollars for this, while other places charge more than double this amount for the same quality work.
I also get my gel manis gone here for only $ 20, while others will charge at least $ 25. They use gelish gel polish, which lasts at least two weeks from my experience. My current gel mani is on it’s third week, still no chipping!
My only disclaimer is that this is not a well decorated spa environment, so don’t expect a luxurious vibe when you come in. However, if you expect a good quality service for the best prices around then this is the place to go to.
P. S. Sometimes it gets busy on weekends so calling ahead for an appointment really helps.

The salon is small and not luxurious at all! i got a mani+pedi ($ 16) and the whole time i am thinking i hope i dont get an infection!!!
Mani lasted whole 4 days and lost shine after 2! Pedi is still holding up for now.
i will be searching for a nice mani/​pedi place in the area…
