The food is not bad but the service is grade F terrible. If you order delivery it is HORRIBLE. The wait is like 3hours for delivery. All the time. Peak of off peak delivery always takes hours. If you order ahead & pick up there is STILL a wait. This place is absurd. The saving grace is that the food is not bad. But if you are interested in eating here order WAY ahead of time when you are not hungry.

I was craving west indian food, and decided to go to the footprints in coney island, since i was already there for an event with the family, it was terrible(i will be leaving a review for the coney island location). I loved how quick the service was being that it was 10pm and i had the opposite experience at their sister location! The staff was friendly and welcoming. My order was also accurate! I ordered the rasta pasta and oxtail, and it was perfect. Not too oily nor salty. I will be back here again!

ordered delivery at 630p. after an hour, called to check on the status. «your food left.» another 30 minutes passed and still nothing. after calling back several times, 2 hours after initially ordering, there was no word from the delivery man so I cancelled the order. service was terrible as the staff was unapologetic and just didn’t care.

I’ve been dying to try Footprints famous Rasta Pasta and my boyfriend surprised me by picking me up from work today and taking me to footprints to pick up some food, I ordered the Cajun chicken rasta pasta and he ordered the curry chicken roti and a small order of jerk chicken, we decided to have it for take out and not eat in the restaurant, it was a little bit of a wait they claimed 20 mins but took a little longer than that but something I could look past, the food is great though ! I would definitely go back and order a different kind of roti because the curry chicken roti he got was very good and they give really good sized portions and the price range is not even something to complain about.

I won’t bore you with a Long review about this and that and blah, blah, blah… You come here for one reason… And one reason only… The Rasta Pasta. The rest of their food is lackluster. Save yourself the time and aggravation. Get the pasta and get out.

I called and try ordering food today, the worst customer service ever. I would rather starve before I ever order there again. First time I called I got placed on hold for 20mins sec time 15 third time no respond… The food is defiantly not the best and the service horrible. This is not the first time this has happened to me w this same location… If you’re gna spend your money you should get a good service, if you’re big on cUstomer Service save yourself the troubles.

Now let me tell you I would have given this place atleast a 4 if the customer service was better! We asked a friend for a good place to eat by her house and she suggested here. We walked in and no one greeted us. When we got to the register SHADE B took our order and boy was she as RUDE as can be! We smiled and said hi and she never responded nor looked us in the eye. We proceeded to tell her that we’ve never been here before and were so excited she rolled her eyes. We said oooookkk and kept ordering and then I asked for rasta pasta and with shrimp she said how would I like my shrimp and I said oh what are the ways you make it and she pointed to the list and said choose from right there. Owners of restaurants need to know their employees can take their business down with bad customer service. The food was good it wasn’t nothing to write home about. I would have preferred to go to Mango Seed! I will never come back here again!!!

I stay on that rasta pasta. I always have every intention of trying something new. H/e, once I get to making my order I already know that I’m not going to stray from no rasta pasta in its varying forms. So, I can only vouch for the rasta pasta — and it’s a straight 10! They lose a star for the already mentioned *sometimes* less than polite staff.

What an experience!!! My boyfriend surprised me with a night off and since we loved The Footprints on Claredon Rd. We decided to drive down to Coney and eat at the other location. Although I read through reviews to find some good tips on food I became nervous about slow service and rude bouncers… But alas it was Monday night and there was a one very large party of 10 or 15 and a few people at the bar. We were sat by a very nice guy at the door and the waitress came over shortly after to take our order. We got a Zombie drink that’s made with dark and light rum apricot brandy and sour mix. Very sweet but I loved it. We ordered a small feast. Buffalo chicken tender appetizer, oxtail, cabbage and rice & peas, bourbon Street grilled chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes and more cabbage. Luckily the large partys’ order just came out holy cow everything smelt amazing. Especially the rasta pasta. I immediately ordered a side and the waitress warned me it was going to be a large amount… The chicken tenders cane first. Omg, it was better than anything i ever had before… It had a subtle heat to it and a subtle Asian flavor it was served with lettuce shredded carrot and pickled radish it was ridiculous. Then the Rasta pasta came… I never had anything like it before it was creamy and had peppers in it, a little spice, almost a seafood flavor, it was absolutely delicious. We were already full and the entrees hadn’t come yet… I ordered another drink and the food came… The oxtail was juicy, a little sweeter then normal but another home run. The rice and peas were over cooked sadly, my boyfriend did not like that… My chicken and shrimp were over cooked as well but delicious with the creamy mashed potatoes… Its been 4 days and we only just finished all the left overs. :) My diet may never survive these cravings…

Placed an order for a boneless chicken roti. I was charged for a boneless roti. I get home and discover I received a very crappy chicken roti with bone. There were two drumsticks folded into the roti. That’s not how a roti is made. Very disappointed and now this food & my money has gone to waste.

This is the takeout version of the Footprints restaurants. One Saturday night I really wanted some Rasta Pasta. My bf I went to the Footprints on Clarendon and of course the restaurant was packed and I was pretty hungry. There was no way I could wait an hour to be seated. So we decided to try the Express version of Footprints. It has somewhat of a fast food setup. Big menu overhead. They have many of the food items that you would find in the restaurants but they also have other items and serve breakfast. You can eat in, there are many tables inside. Extremely casual setup. You order then wait until you hear your number. Wait was about 15 minutes. Food tastes just the same as it does on the restaurant.

On a late night coming home from work this place is one of the open ones… love the food but lately the rasta pasta has been real runny, whats up with that? Definetly order ahead or you’ll be waiting forever. But between the lemonade and the carrot juice you’ll be in paradise. lol
Ehhh. Small curry chicken came with 2 chicken legs. The meat fell right off the bones but the curry sauce was scarce. The rice & peas were horrible. Dry, bland, no taste. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the jerk chicken is tasty & spicy. Will not be returning.

There is a rude cashier that totally ruined my experience. She is loud and so rude and has made me not want to go back. My boyfriend also overheard her talking about my shoes in a demeaning way. The food is good, but the people there are rude. And the wait time for food is ridiculous. Even when you order your food via phone, when you get to the restaurant you still have to wait for a very long time. One time I placed a phone order and the cashier forgot to put my order in! It’s ridiculous there The cashiers do not pay attention to the customers. They are always carrying on their own loud conversations and do not acknowledge customers for several minutes while customers are waiting. Management and the owner need to do better.

This location is the worst! Believe the bad reviews! I have a story to tell but I’ll keep it simple… I go to this place. Order my food(1st mistake) pay with my credit(2nd mistake) receive a receipt. that clearly state the transaction was approved.(Pics to prove it) They get the receipt back and 5 mins later. They call me over to say it was voided. But it’s not voided on my phone. My bank account app clearly states that it was processed. I got my food and two employees snatched my food away from my hands. They hurt me. Not only did they not give me my food. They snatched it aggressively from me. I should sue! The manager said my food wasn’t paid for. I had to leave the premises. For constantly asking if I can get my food.

I really like footprints I really do. Before this one opened I used to walk many blocks to the one on Clarendon and just fell completely in love with its atmosphere and of course food. I’ve never felt this place was overpriced until today actually. I bought a small(I’m assuming small bc of the size) banana & strawberry smoothie for $ 6, I was shocked. If I knew I would’ve honestly made it myself. I also got a curry chicken roti(first roti in my life, 24 yrs old) and it was bomb, like borderline amazing. I now know what my life has been missing… WOW! They customer service is also a reason why it didn’t get a complete 5 star from me. Yesterday when I was there the girl(I mean if I could’ve gave her a raise, I would’ve honestly) but today idk. She was mediocre & it was a fight for someone to make my overpriced but yummy smoothie so that definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t mind the wait, because I guess I expect it I will always come back & recommend others to as well, no hard feelings just thoughts of a satisfied and full customer
