WAIT?! Can someone tell me anything about what happened to Fluke? I was there just a few months ago. This is making me very sad. Are the owners doing anything else with themselves similar? This place was a real gem. Maybe someone wants to recommend to me a surrogate fab vintage spot? I called the listed number and its just disconnected. :(

This owner has impeccable taste in clothing! Can always find something out of the ordinary in this Williamsburg gem. Not the cliché vintage store. Make sense, she’s been opened for over 10 years and is one of the very first vintage store in Williamsburg! I LOVEFLUKE!

This is a beautiful little shop with a carefully selected offering of women’s vintage clothing and accessories. My best friend bought a gorgeous a special occasion one of a kind unique couture looking vintage dress off of the mannequin thing for $ 90. They also have a small selection of some adorable vintage kids clothing.

This place rules because you can find amazing pieces for under $ 100 which is rare in New York. I scored a fabulous pair of 70s platform oxfords and an insane black studded belt recently. The racks are full of fun quirky statement pieces.

Fluke is a fluke, enough said. Thrift store? Pft, not even. More like overpriced expensive secondhand vintage boutique’s more like it.

Fluke really disappointed me. I called a few days before coming in to ask whether it can work like a consignment shop. My response was: «Yeah, sure as long as the owner is in.» My friend and I walked in with bags of clothing to sell. The store is very couture and boutique looking and you would never expect it to be a consignment or thrift shop. Pair of shoes? $ 80! Some of the clothing looked nice there, but it was a rip off. The woman took two minutes to look through my stuff and told me it wasn’t «retro» enough. The ladies were somewhat nice, but seemed more preoccupied with themselves. The only reason I would return is because it does have nice clothing, but for the price? Out of my league, honey.

Excellent stuff. Fabulous frocks from the eighties and bangin’ shoes(that are totally trendy now). Its small but a good stop. It is not even too pricey. Definitely, worth it for vintage lovers.

The clothing at Fluke is curated very well. The clothes may be vintage, but everything is supercute and wearable in 2007. The prices are also reasonable; however, the sizes can run a bit small.
