I made an appointment at 9am but I didn’t get to see the doctor until 10:15. On top of that, I don’t see any other customers waiting besides myself which was frustrating. Eitherway, Eye crafters have a good and stylish selection of frames.

There are two young girls working there as customer service. They have a very rude, nasty attitude. What have I done to them for such horrible treatment?

If I have the option of not giving any stars, this establishment doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
The owner of this business ONLY cares about making sales in his designer frames and lenses. After I took the eye exam, the owner tells me how much I need to pay. I selected nonbranded frames with no price indicated before I took the eye exam. The owner did NOT tell me the price and I expect it to be reasonable. After the exam, he tells me that it is $ 250. The glasses look like the plastic reading glasses you find in Duane Reade for $ 10. Also, the lenses are $ 150 which I understand. Lenses are usually expensive. I decided to leave because I don’t want to do deal with such sneaky and schemy business. The owner told me that I am required to purchase the glasses because I took the eye exam. The associates also tried to convince me purchases the glasses. They even tried to show me the designer glasses. They said I could sign up for their credit card and pay monthly. Seriously?
Anyway, I am very disappointed. I can tolerate waiting for 45mins with appointment but I will never do business with deceiving vendors.
To the owner of Eye Crafters Optical: STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.

I called to make an appointment for an eye exam, and was told that I could come by whenever. When I arrived, I was told that the Dr would see me next. After 2 people going in ahead of me and over an hour of waiting, I lost my patience and walked out.

The manager Alex is extremely nice and caring. My eye doctor had messed up my prescription and refused to help find a solution to the problem. Alex however was so professional, caring, and helped figure out a solution to a different doctor’s mistake.
I highly recommend this location! They also have great glasses to choose from and are patient when trying everything on!

Pros: You can schedule a appointment on Zocdoc.
Cons: The employee asked if I wanted to start trying on glasses before my I even had my eye exam. They really try to sell you on glasses, even when you don’t need them. I didn’t feel comfortable here and the staff wasn’t that friendly so I asked for my most minimal prescription to go.

Great service from these guys. There’s a place down the street that tries to charge you $ 50 for just the exam with a long wait. No wait here and got my new specs just in time.

I like this place really nice frames at good prices. The lenses are made of quality material and the staff are very friendly. If your in need of sunglasses or prescription frames, I reccommend you give them a chance.
