History

Established in 2011.

Formerly known as Guss’ Pickles from Orchard and Broome on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. You can’t get our pickles in the Supermarket or any small Glatt Kosher grocery for that matter. We only sell our pickles from our store. For many years we pleased our customers with our delicious barrel cured pickles. Each Passover they came to our store and waited on line patiently for hours at a time without so much as a complaint, to get the very best for their Pesach table. Since times have changed on the Lower East Side and so many of the Jewish community have left Manhattan, we decided to go to Brooklyn. Now located at 431 Dekalb Ave. on Classon Ave. You can take the G train to Classon Ave. and walk one block to Dekalb Ave. We’re right across the street from the Police Station right in front of the B48 bus stop along Classon Ave.

Meet the Business Owner

Roger J.

Business Owner

I started making pickles when Tim Baker gave me a job at his store in Manhattan several years ago. His father bought Guss’ Pickles from the Guss family in 1979. I never thought that one day I would be the one who would carry on the legacy. I loved my work there, it gave me great satisfaction to see our customers enjoy our pickles.
