This place is extremely unprofessional!!!
First of all, I get there to pick up my dog, they tell me «cash only». NOWHERE not even a tiny little sign where it says that this place does not accept cash. I tell her I’m $ 5 short, she tells me to go get more cash. I say okay. (mind that when I dropped off my dog, I asked how much I owe and she did not mention cash only)
When I came back, she told me that they will put a cash only sign on the door next time.
Then I come back with cash, I pay and tip (which I really shouldn’t have) and I ask for a RECEIPT. SHE TELLS ME «WE DON’T DO RECEIPTS» can you believe it? I left without proof of service and not a receipt. Definitely to avoid paying taxes. They did not make this experience pleasant at all.
Also, when I dropped off my dog and I asked what they will be doing, they were very vague about the description of services.
I’m a veterinary student, and I know how low and high standards are in the veterinary/​animal profession. Its not only about the animal, but its about keeping the customer happy as well. So now I am sitting here without a RECEIPT for the services. NOT even knowing for sure what they did to my dog.
I do not recommend this place at all. There are many other places (the competition is high) I hope the entire sheepshead bay community will read this review before taking their beloved one there.

Do Not take your pet to this place. It seemed like they sedate the animals. My poor dog was having nervous jerks for hours after his grooming session. If you are still planning on trying them out sit and watch your dog the whole time. I am a true dog lover and cannot get over what they did to my poor pooch. Never leaving him at any groomers after this place.

I took my Chihuahua Dessi here today for the second time. She is extremely shy and nervous when taken to the groomer. I received an incredible service! My dog was happy as can be (rare), she smelled amazing, had her nails cut, and teeth brushed. They even decorated her ears with glitter. Incredible job and I can’t wait to take her back! I’ll try to post some pictures.

Do not take your pet to elite pet grooming on coney Isl. Ave. My dog has come back w something that they got in his eye and a cut on his belly and butt… Leading to a eye ulcer. When called to question what had happened they just gave me an excuse rather than an apology and a reply of «ok» when i said i will not be returning. Beware and stay away from these unexperienced fools.

This place was so rude. I brought my cat in for grooming and they began rushing me out the door as soon as I got there. As a new customer I wanted to get a feel for the place before leaving my cat in their care — especially since the front door was propped wide open. Sure, it had a baby gate to keep dogs from escaping but that’s nothing to a cat.
The woman in front had zero customer service skills that gave me any reassurance, so I wanted to stay in the waiting area while my cat was groomed. She flat out told me no, I had to leave. So I did, with my ungroomed cat.
