Vladas Pet Grooming & Boarding

Although this place is inexpensive and convenient for me, the place is extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. I picked my dog up and she had a popped blood vessel in her right eye and seemed very upset after being groomed. I took her to the vet and they told me that a few of Vlada’s customers had come in to see them after being groomed and that it is not known for being sanitary or any good and that my dog probably popped a blood vessel when they were holding her down by the neck while grooming her. I will never take her there again!

Absolutely horrible service and treatment of customers and their pets. We took our dog to this place just to get her nails cut. Upon arrival we were greeted by very unfriendly and rude attitude from the workers there. The woman, who was middle aged and blond, proceeded to cut our dog’s nails with very little care, was not even looking at the nails when she was cutting them and with each cut our dog was crying in pain and bleeding. After she did 3 nails in this manner, we told her to stop and she was rude and they told us we owe them $ 10 for the procedure — mind you it was only 3 nails cut and each one of them was bleeding. We paid the $ 10 and left immediately to the vet. We strongly advise to stay away from this place if you care for your pet.

This is the worst place. I would not give any stars but had to give something. I went the first time to get my dogs nails cut and was able to hold her while the girl cut her nails. It wasn’t that clean.
Today, I tried again figuring to just give it another chance but it was even worse. Groomer screaming at the top of her lungs, a dog crying so loud. i just let the girl cut my dogs nails while I held her in my arms and all she did was throw stupid remarks at me. I told her if she didn;t want to do it, that was fine and I was going to leave but this guy at the desk said something to her in Russian and she cut my dogs nails. She was so rude and had no class at all.
Disgusting and very unprofessional. Will never go there again.

This place is one of the best grooming places in Brooklyn! Prices are great ($ 40 for my shitzu!) They give you exactly what you ask for. Only bad thing is that they only take cash which sucks but most grooming places do the same. Small store but they are always packed especially on weekends!

I’ve used alot of groomers before but Vlada’s stole my pooch’s heart. Their price is fair, and the work is great. My Shih Tzu Buba is always happy and so am I.

It gives off the vibe that its not such a professional place but do not let that fool you. The results have me coming back a handful of times. They are fairly priced and are open 7 days a week. If this is a close by location for you give them a try.
