Dymans Music & Arts Center is local community school for children ages 2.5 and older. We provide instrumental and vocal music lessons, art classes, dance classes. We also run the after-​school program, Saturday talent academy and camps during all school holidays.

History

Established in 2008.

The Dyman’s Music was established in the Spring 2008 in a heart of Brooklyn in a small studio in order to make music and arts education simple and affordable for the people in the neighborhood communities. Our staff was comprised of the founder, Yakov Dyman and a few of his friends. Just three months later Dyman’s Music 24 music students perform their first recital. On June 29^th, 2008 Dyman’s Summer Camp opened its doors to just 6 campers. Since then more than 300 music, dance, art and acting students and more than 120 campers spent quality time at Dymans Music & Arts Center located at 1689 E5th street, Brooklyn, NY 11 230

Meet the Business Owner

Yakov D.

Business Owner

Yakov Dyman is an accomplished music teacher and the owner of Dymans Music since 2008. Mr. Dyman also enjoys an active career as a bassoonist, having performed on the world’s leading concert stages, including Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall in NYC, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Barbican Center in London, Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and many others. From 1993 – 1998 he held the position as a Principal Bassoonist at St. Petersburg Radio Orchestra and from 1998 he was working as a freelance bassoonist with various orchestras in NYC and Long Island. Mr. Dyman has appeared as bassoon soloist and guest conductor with West Islip Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Dyman holds a Graduate Degree in Bassoon Performance from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, Russia as well as Bachelor Degree in Orchestral Conducting and Music Education from St. Petersburg College of Music.
