Same for me ^^^ I never used my living social before but was contacted about 2 weeks ago in email and was given a code to use for 15% off. I thought it was cool that they offered a instant quote but didnt understand if it was for my home or my office location. When I called I spoke with Davon who apparently is the owner and mentioned he’d bought his partner out and was now just focusing on office cleaning. * I suggested he apologize to some Unilocalers who were very unhappy last year! (seemed like a sweet guy I think he caught a bad break) We discussed my current cleaners and the booking form and he walked me through signing up instantly… my quote only turned out to be only $ 35 less than what I paid before but hey!
On to my cleaning they arrived last Friday at 4 pm. I wanted to stay even though it was just an office cleaning because although he was nice I still felt I needed to for re assurance. They walked around split up duties (between 3) and started working. In about 2 hours they were finished. I ordered the $ 15 aromatherapy add on — it was a cute little oil burner and it left my office smelling amazing.

Does this company even actually exist? I bought a voucher (which has since been refunded), but they never showed up, never returned my voicemail, and the day they were supposed to come, their website literally did not exist.

I wish they had the other reviews in March when I bought this living social deal.
First it took me two weeks to schedule since they didn’t have availability and finally when we scheduled, they cancelled the first appointment 30 minutes after they were supposed to show up. Reason: they got into a car accident.
They rescheduled on Easter Sunday, we stayed home and no one ever showed up. We called and left messages and finally cancelled the Living Social Deal … still hoping we get the credit.
I hope before someone else buys this deal they can read all the reviews. I am sure they have their reasons but I think they are in the wrong business.

WHY IS THERE NO ZERO RATING? DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE!
Up until 24 hours before the appointment there was no contact.
Then I got an email and a text message with only the date and time of the appointment.
The owner, Davon Strong didn’t bother to contact me until I called HIM.
I called the number that was on BOTH the email and the text message and Mr. Strong asked me how I got that number it’s his Cell # that is on the website — the exact same number BY THE WAY.
I had asked for a 9:30am appointment which was not an option originally — no reply, so when I asked him on the phone he said No, he had another appointment after, reasonable, so I said OK, not a problem. Is there anything else I need to know or do before hand? He said like what? Really??? Worst customer service attitude ever.
The night before, the cleaning lady called me and asked me if I lived in Brooklyn. I told her NO, I’m in the Bronx, we discussed how to get here and she said «I’ll see you at 9:00am!»
I’m writing this at 10:25am a complete no show!
I called her, no answer. Called Mr. Strong who seemed surprised that she wasn’t here and said he’d call her. He called right back and said, «Didn’t you say you wanted 9:30 — 10:00?», I replied, «Yes, but you told me you couldn’t» he said, «NO! I said she’d be there around 10!» I told him that wasn’t true and he claimed that he sent me a text message AND an email saying that she’d be there at 10! I told him that I GOT NO SUCH CONTACT FROM HIM! and he hung up on me!!!
I tried calling back but he didn’t answer. So I sent a text to which he replied that I was the rude one and that he had NOTHING FURTHER TO SAY TO ME!
I called the lady’s number again and finally SHE ANSWERED! I asked where she was and she told me just getting on the train in Brooklyn (about 90 minutes travel time). I said she was very late and she said, «No my boss sent me a text last night and told me not to get there till 10:30!!! I said,“Even IF that were true, leaving at 10:15 for a 90 minute trip — you won’t be on time!»
Being that she wouldn’t get here until about noon I told her not to even bother.
I sent a text to Mr. Strong telling him that I could no longer use his services and asked for a refund.
Let’s see if I get it.

How do they clean? I have NO IDEA! They never showed up.

If there were a zero stars option for this service they would be getting a minus 10. I bought a living social deal and booked the cleaning service online for my parents’ apartment yesterday morning, as they were arriving from a long trip today. I informed their building of the cleaning service’s appointment and gave the concierge clearance to let them into their apartment. I get a call at 9 am (the appointment time) from the service telling me to call them back. I was in a meeting and responded to their voice mail by trying to call back no less than 30 times. They did not pick up once, did not respond to any of the 5 voice mails i left them, nor did they ever show up for the appointment, I called the building and they informed me that they never showed up. My parents got to a dirty apartment today after a 24 hour trip, because of this disrespectful, unorganized, ridicule of a business. DO NOT USE THEM. I requested a refund from living social for the worse service I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
