Specialties
Located in the heart of Park Slope, Buttermilk Bakeshop is a homestyle bakery featuring all types of sweets, cakes and ice creams. We bake all our items from scratch in our open kitchen each day, ensuring quality products straight out of the oven. We believe in the pleasure of a warm chocolate chip cookie, the magic in frosting a freshly baked cake, and the love of a perfectly salted caramel.
Birthdays to weddings, let us work with you to create the perfect cake for your special day! Looking for more than just cake for your next event? We’ll work with you to create a fantastically creative dessert table. From cupcakes to candies, cookies to treats, let us treat you!
We take pride in beautifully presented and fantastically tasty sweets, served by a warm and helpful team of pastry enthusiasts led by Pastry Chef Katie Rosenhouse. Stop by, visit, or give us a call to order your next specialty cake, pick up cookies & sweets, or dive into a spoonful of our housemade ice cream!
