Amazing Gluten Free and the woman who served us(and also MADEOURFOOD!) was delightful. Highly recommend whatever the house special is that week, ours was a three cheese blend and it was spectacular!

Great macaroni and cheese. Wide choice of toppings. Convenient location and pleasant décor. Friendly staff. We see the cops and firemen ordering from here all the time. That’s always a good sign.

The Mac and Cheese is definitely good, but man… you just cannot justify these prices. The sizes offered are more than a little deceptive. Each of the time is about half an inch thick, so you end up with a tiny portion that you pay over $ 10 for. And that’s insane.

Decent place for your Mac and cheese craving. I got the veggie«bayridge» to go and it was delicious. The ingredients were evenly spread out which is important because you wouldn’t want all mushrooms on one side and not the other! It’s baked in an aluminum pan so if you can’t finish it in one sitting, you can put it in the oven the next day.

This place. I’ve been ordering from here since I moved to the neighborhood 4 years ago. In that time, the quality of the food has held steady at quite tasty. Recently however, the size of the Medium has greatly reduced while the price has remained the same. I find myself very annoyed as well that the purveyor of this place has patently refused to acknowledge my weekly patronage over the past four years with so much at a nod. Anyway, I think I’m done with this place.

If you’re a lover of Mac & Cheese, and I know you are because how could you not be, then try this place out. It’s not phenomenal or anything but it’s good eatin. I got it delivered and the dish was still warm, they did inform me delivery would take a while but I didn’t mind. I built my own Mac but I will have to try out one of their Mac creations next time.

I’ve been searching for a replacement for my favorite mac & cheese restaurant since moving to NYC from the Bay Area(if you’re ever in Oakland, definitely check out Homeroom!) This place didn’t have the greatest reviews, but I happened to be in the neighborhood, so I thought I would give it a try. I ended up building my own mac and I felt like it was pretty overpriced for what it was — a glorified Kraft macaroni & cheese. Service was quick, as I was the only one in the restaurant. Overall, this mac wasn’t very memorable at all. The search continues!

Great mac and cheese, and they deliver too! Lots of great variations on the classic mac and cheese, gluten free, veggie and meat varieties. We got a delivery, and the food was nice and hot on arrival. A medium is a good size for one person, but i’d suggest getting a few different flavours to share.

Today is my birthday. I decided last night, after a hard day of work, that I would treat myself to a nice birthday mac and cheese. I ordered at about 10, since I’d only gotten home shortly before that. Went on Grubhub and selected delivery even though I’m two blocks away because, hey, it’s cold out. A full hour later, my lukewarm dinner arrives(from two blocks away) in a box soaked with condensation from the once-hot mac with half-assed apologies from the delivery guy, who couldn’t manage to ring my intercom to be buzzed in. But fine. Whatever. It’s my delicious gluten free prepped Park Slope! I’ll heat it up, and it will be great. Except here I am up in the wee hours of my birthday morning, in excruciating pain, being kept up by not only gastric distress but also a lovely skin rash, a dash of hives, and delightful shortness of breath. I’ve thought this a few times when I’ve ordered before, but now I’m sure: you guys choose whether or not to heed the request for gluten free prep. And this time it’s much worse. This isn’t some«I made a New Years resolution to go gluten free because a blog told me to» nonsense. This is my health. And the health of many others who might request the gluten free prep. If your staff aren’t willing to adhere to what is a potentially life-threateningly important request, then don’t offer that as an option. And what I’m maybe most irked about is that I also paid for this option. That’s just some fantastic insult to literal injury. No more birthday(or any other kind of) mac from here.

I LOVE mac and cheese so I was super excited to have come across Brooklyn Mac. The minute you walk in, you get a fast food feel. You definitely don’t come in here for the ambience. There was a teen kid working the counter who didn’t even greet us at first. But I let that all slide because it was mac and cheese. I got a medium Carroll Gardens, which was brie cheese and caramelized apples, and added bacon. The mac is served in disposable pie tins. After I ordered, I saw the menu said all macs included bread crumb or cornflake topping. Mine had neither and the kid working the counter never said anything so I was a little sad about having missed out. The mac itself was delicious. The cheese was perfectly gooey, the top was crusty and the bacon and apple chunks were evenly distributed throughout for delicious bites every time. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but if I’m in the area again, I would definitely come again.

The previous Unilocal reviews are spot on. I could see how some people love it, and some people just think its ehhhhhh. I definitely felt like this was something I could make at home, so it didn’t feel all that special eating it at a poorly decorated, empty restaurant. Either way, we went into it without high expectations and got what we expected. With that being said, don’t go out of your way to come here; but if you happen to be walking in East Williamsburg and you’re hungry this will do.

Oh my goodness. I had no words during my first bite of gooey, cheddar-y yumminess at Brooklyn Mac. After that day, nothing was the same … I am a DIE-HARD fan of mac and cheese, and this place exceeded all my expectations. It is absolutely delicious. MUST eat fresh — it gets a lot worse after getting cold and re-warmed — but when it’s fresh, it’s amazing. I’ve tried many mac and cheeses and this tops the list. I think we got the cheddar and american cheese mac? Whatever it was, it was incredible. EATEATEAT

I always heard about this place but i wanted to see for myself. First off, super fast delivery. I ordered a mac and cheese plate with american cheese, mozzarella, ground beef, bacon and broccoli. It was amazing, the top layer had a nice crust and my cheesiness meter was more than fulfilled!!! I will definitely be ordering again.

Terrible service. Waited two hours for cold food, then on hold for over 10 mins with a clueless employee who«doesn’t know what to do in this situation». Called the other location to try to speak to a manger since there was none present at the montrose location and since the employees couldn’t help me, the manger was rude as well. Told me «well, it’s VERY busy today, so…» Both the deliver guy and myself tried calling the store and no one answers the phone. Liked this place but will not order from here again. Get it together, Brooklyn Mac. Please, train your employees on how to handle busy situations if there won’t be a manger present in the store. Honestly, deserves no stars after this experience.

I have had this place on my list and finally decided to try it. It was Ehhhhhh okay. They had nice seating area inside and seemed very clean.
My order: BROOKLYNHEIGHTS– mac and cheese w/steak. Not sure if it was the way they marinated the meat but it was not very good. My dish was very cheesy a bit salty but again nothing special. I ordered a small with a Can of soda for $ 10. Ummm not really worth it. My co worker ordered the Greenpointer– broccoli & kielbasa. His dish was actually better and if I ever go back(I probably wont) but if I do, I would order this one.
