We have a very good communication policy which includes texts of arrival/​departure and pictures showing your dog having a blast! Our clients are so happy when they hear from us during the day. Our walks range from 30 to 60 minutes but we generally give out extra time. Using our shared calendar, you’ll always know when your dog is getting walked. No more wondering if your pet’s been taken care of! Book in advance and receive great discounts.

Brooklyn Bitches continues to provide excellent service to the pet community of Williamsburg and Greenpoint Brooklyn. We love our clients pets and show it through our regular text message communications and fun pictures documenting the walk. On top of that, we provide a personal calendar spreadsheet created just for your walks. Tired of having a different walker every day? We have the answer for you! Eric Goldart has been fond of dogs his entire life. After graduating from college with a Bachelors degree in Communications, he set out to become a working member of society. After a few year’s behind a desk at a reputable publishing company, he decided to venture out into a more active occupation. Eric was offered the opportunity to join forces with an experienced dog walker on the Upper East Side. He was then able to learn how to properly care for dogs as well as what it takes to manage a dog business in a highly competitive market. His other passions include playing guitar, and song writing.

The boys of Brooklyn Bitches are truly wonderful! I moved to New York in November, and they have been such a joy for my pup Drake. Drake was used to coming to work with me before we moved, and I was worried that New York would be hard on him. Luckily he gets some great exercise and company during the week with his Brooklyn Bitches walks. He is always happy and tired out when I get home to him. Plus I love getting the pictures of him and knowing exactly when he’s out!

These guys have been walking my Yellow Lab Harley for the past year, 5 days a week. They do a great job and Eric runs a really professional business. They always text me when they arrive, send two pictures on the walk and let me know when she’s home safe. They also come feed my cat when I go upstate with my dog for the weekend. They are super organized and I can’t recommend them enough!

I was referred to Brooklyn Bitches by the previous dog walkers i was using when i lived in Bushwick. I couldn’t be happier with BB’s services. The walkers are personable and amazing with our dog. They notify us when they’re picking up, send us two picture messages during the walk, and let us know when he’s been dropped off.
We’re able to pay our monthly invoices through PayPal which is very convenient.

My husband and I are huge fans of Brooklyn Bitches. Our doggie, Mason, used to have anxiety with bigger dogs, but the team handled it flawlessly. They understand the pack mentality, similar to the caesar milan approach. Since using their services, Mason is a much more confident, friendly dog around the big dogs. We also greatly appreciated the daily laugh from the doggie pics they text during the walk. Mason stayed with Eric a few times when we left town and we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands. Not to mention, Mason went crazy with joy when he would see any of the walkers. All in all, Brooklyn Bitches is reliable, accommodating, and a joy to work with. We’ll miss them when we move in a few weeks. Highly recommend 5 stars and a thumbs up!

Eric and the gang over at BB are exactly what dog parents like me need. They love dogs the way I love dogs and realize that we treat our canines like kids. From the first interview to the continued walks (our pup gets 5 walks a week) BB is professional, loving and accomodating to changing schedules. Our dog LOVES her walks and walkers. A++ all around.

First review, long time lurker, but wanted to provide a review because it’s been such a pleasure having the gang watch over Achilles. Eric and the gang have done an amazing job of showing patience and genuine concern wth my dog from the time he was a wee-​pup. Achilles loves the group so much and legitimately gets excited everytime they arrive to take him for his daily walks.
They provide excellent pictures and are always on time… Eric is always accomadating to my last minute changes due to my work schedule and vacations.
I couldn’t ask for a better group of guys watching over the most important dude in my life.

Eric and co are awesome and always do a great job walking my French Bulldog, who can be very stubborn. I love that they text when they arrive, send photos of the walk and text again drop off. It always gives me peace of mind. In almost a year of walks, I’ve never had a single issue. 5 stars, no question about it!

I went away for 5 days and needed to leave my dog with someone. She gets anxious so I didn’t her to just be home alone with an occasional walker. I left her with Eric and he was amazing. He kept her calm and busy, walked her even more than I do, and sent me several pictures a day to assure me she was happy and well. I couldn’t be happier!

Love these guys. I’ve been through many walkers, and these are the most solid of the bunch! They send daily pictures that I always look forward to. My dog has the same walker most of the time, but if not, it’s still someone that he’s familiar with and has met before. You get an invoice and google calendar upfront for each month. It’s nice to be able to reference it in case you your schedule changes month to month. And you always know that you’re getting charged the correct amount. If you’re in the Greenpoint/​Williamsburg area and are looking for a new walker, I highly recommend!

This is the only dog walking service that I have used, so I don’t have much frame of reference, but there are several reasons why I originally chose Eric/​Brooklyn Bitches (and why I continue to use them). Firstly, it’s really important to me that my dog isn’t walked in large group. She gets along with other dogs fine, but if I’m paying for a walk I want her to get some personalized attention. Brooklyn Bitches is really good about this. My dog is usually walked with one other dog, which is great because she gets some social interaction without getting lost in the shuffle of a large group walk. Secondly, it’s important to me that I know when my dog is being walked, and they’re really good about this too. I always get a text when she is picked up and dropped off, and in between I usually receive a couple photos. This not only offers peace of mind, but is also kind of fun because I’ve met some of the other dog owners around the neighborhood when we recognized each other’s dogs from the pictures. Finally, they’re pretty flexible about your schedule. I’ve cancelled or added walks at the last minute, and Eric always works really hard to make sure he can accommodate your needs. With Brooklyn Bitches you don’t get some of the bells and whistles of more expensive services, but it’s nice to support a small business, and in return your pup gets a lot of personal attention.
UPDATE ON 2÷17÷15:
I originally gave a four-​star rating but have since amended it to five. I recently found myself in a predicament when I locked myself out of my apartment at midnight on a Sunday. I called Eric because he was the only person with extra keys to my apartment. I explained the situation and he hopped on his bike immediately to come let me in. This was really above and beyond the call of duty, and I don’t think you’d get this kind of service with other companies. Five stars – thanks, Eric!

What a great service. Eric and team are very trustworthy and reliable. We have been using them for about 6 months now and the service is stellar.
When they arrive they text you and send you picture of your dog to let you know they have them and they are safe and in their care. When they are finished they text you again to let you know your dog is home. I feel that my dog is safe and in good hands with them, which is the most important thing.
Also, as someone who travels frequently for work, they are available to on-​the-​fly in case a flight gets delayed and you don’t make it home in time. This happened to me more than once.
All in all, if you are looking for a really caring, reliable and flexible dog walker choosing Brooklyn Bitches is the way to go.

In only the second week, they forgot to show up and my dog pooped in my apartment. She was miserable when we got home. I texted, and the owner, Eric, apologized and offered to walk her for free that evening. Instead, we asked for our money back, which he did bring. Disappointing and unacceptable.

Doug is incredibly kind, professional, and super attentive. Doug has been walking my dog Pip since we adopted her in May 2012. From our first meeting, I could tell how much he loved dogs and how much care he put into his business. He didn’t mind that she wasn’t totally crate trained yet, and cleaned up any messes that had happened in the house before he got there (and let me know about them). A month later I got picked for jury duty and my schedule was all over the place, and Doug was super flexible and was able to walk Pip on short notice when I got stuck in court.
Doug sends me pictures or videos every time he walks Pip, and it’s such a great pick me up in the middle of the day. I can tell by all the pictures that Pip is having a great time and is in wonderful hands. Pip LOVES Doug — we’ve ran into him a few times at the dog park and she runs right over for an ear rub. Many dog owners from Cooper Park Dog Run use his services and have talked about how wonderful he is.
I 100% trust Doug, and highly recommend him.

When my boyfriend and I got our female corgi puppy in June we didn’t have a plan beyond a vague «she’ll need a dogwalker.» That might make us sound awful but we’d never had a dog in an apartment before so we were a tad unprepared. Once she received all of her shots I sent an email to Brooklyn Bitches explaining what our needs were. That was on a Thursday, Doug & Deirdre dropped by over the weekend to meet us and our pup and they began walking her on Monday.
Deirdre comes by once a day, 5 days a week since the beginning of July. Daisy loves her and I love the pictures she sends me and the notes she leaves at the end of the day. I feel like Deirdre really cares about and loves Daisy, even when Daisy is teething and being a brat (which recently started and is not very fun). I would recommend them to anyone. They are great people and have made myself and Daisy very happy.

Let me be clear about one thing: I am a fucking lunatic when it comes to my dog. I mean, let’s put things in perspective, I don’t have one of those baby strollers for him, but he does have a Facebook page. And, unlike many people living in Brooklyn, he has health insurance.
So, as you can imagine, I don’t let just anyone take care of my sweet puppy. Doug is great, and if you’re looking for a dog walker you should totally go with him.
Fact: Your friends don’t like walking your dog. They say they do, but it’s a pain in the ass — especially in the rain, snow, cold, or the December 2010 blizzard when my friends had to walk my dog for me. So go ahead and hire a professional.
