Turkey Burger was excellent, fries were descent. Chicken Salad had chicken in it but no Salad. A little stingy on the greens. Service was good.

Not impressed as much as others. Ordered a catfish burger and it tastes like a melting frozen fastfood. Service neither got there. Disappointed.

Really great spot to get a burger either to stay or to go. They cook the burger to your liking and it was overall a rad place for burgers. The only thing that stunk about the place was I didn’t find their fries to be best. For such a good burger you want fries to match.

Situation: Friday night looking for some great wings. The Good: The special was sliders which were incredible. Very solid wings — we got the hot buffalo. Not the best I’ve ever had but really good. Good beer selection. Awesome décor and great atmosphere. The Bad: Not necessarily their fault — the wings are made from scratch so just be prepared to wait a little for your food if you order them. Just grab another beer. Summary: Fantastic atmosphere with great food and good beer selection. What else do you need?

Just want to say the mac and cheese here is SOGOOD! It has jalapeños and bacon bits, you just have to try it. have to! Their wings are amazing too, taste fresh! I love the atmosphere of the place. very chill! Along with the dope wall décor. I must say though. I wish it was a bigger place. It got busy when I ate there so I felt like I was in a tight space eating with my bf.

Solid diner ya got here, Park Slope. Had the veggie burger — perhaps it was homemade earlier and then unfrozen, but I’d prefer the handmade variety. Patty itself tasted a little freezer burned, but the taste of the veggies were alright. The bun is a little bread-y, wish it was more toasted. The tastiest part of the burger is the extra toppings — the pickles, jalapeños, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, all a great addition, alongside the chipotle mayo/ketchup/mustard on the table. The best part of going here is the chili-cheese fries(even the vegetarian option is insanely good). Also tried the catfish burger, which is simply a patty of catfish compacted down — wasn’t that into it. Side salad was also good, but again, don’t come here without trying the chili-cheese fries. They are a MUST! Good rotation of beers on tap, and not bad for the neighborhood in terms of price(veggie burger was $ 12, beers on tap $ 6).

I was told they have awesome burgers, that they are known for delicious food. And so we trekked down 5th ave, bypassing all the other potential eateries just to come here. I ordered my sirloin burger to be medium rare. It comes back medium and burnt on the outside. There’s nothing worse than anticipating a juicy pink-on-the-inside burger only to be served a dry piece of meat. That just sets one up for disappointment. Why bother asking how I would like my burger? Sigh. My order came with a side of chili. It was chilly chili – maybe because they just sprinkled cheese on top but isn’t chili supposed to be simmering hot to the point that it creates a melty cheesy mess? I guess not at Bonnie’s. By the way, if you order the burger from the brunch menu, you have to pay additional for cheese but if you order it from the regular menu you have that option for free. I didn’t get it. Service was decent but taste matters too. If I come back I know to stay away from burgers and maybe give the wings a chance. Who knows.

This one star is for service. We’ve been coming here for years because we love the wings and cheese fries. However, today we ask for more bleu cheese. He brings one when we are ALL out of bleu cheese and he looked around the table too. When he comes back we say can we have two more? He has the nerve to say well you should tell me that when I’m here. Well why don’t you ask? I mean it was clear we were all out. This is completely directed to the old guy. The young Latino waiter is always so sweet and nice. That old guy is rude. He’s always had this rude face but today was pushing it. Not coming back.

Good food, bad management. The place is fine when it’s not busy but when it’s even a little busy they totally fall apart. And…over a two hour delay on the superbowl! Get it together, Bonnie’s.

When you search«best wings in NYC», this place tends to pop up. So of course, I had to check it out. Very relaxed atmosphere, with a ton of Buffalo fans(Bills game was on). I sat right in front of the deep fryers and the grill so I saw all the frying goodness in action. You know it’s super fresh food when you can see everything the chef is doing. Major kudos to the chef — he was making a million things at once(I’m sure this is normal but how often are you arms-length away from the chef to witness all of it). Now. The WINGS. Very good, sauce was great. I would have preferred a tad more sauce and wings could have been a bit juicer. I’m sure if the chef wasn’t swamped and manning three different stations, the wings would have been pretty close to perfect. Note: if you’re a football fan, this place might not be the best place to watch a game since they only have two small tvs that are at opposite ends of the bar/restaurant. But. if you’re a Bills fan, definitely check it out & eat some wings.

I like this place to dine-in. Big salads, excellent fries, decent sandwiches and burgers. But delivery is another story. It’s hit or miss. I got a chicken cubano that was so burned it tasted like charcoal. If I order it again, I’ll request that it not be charred. Mostly I’ll stick with salad and fries for delivery. Nice staff, nice delivery guys.

It’s only fair that I update my previous tepid review of Bonnie’s. I have not bothered to come back for their burger, but what I have had several times now are their wings, and they’re killer. I think this place is better experienced in person than getting take-out, but do what you will. If you like wings, they really are very good here. The spicy buffalo sauce is pretty spicy, but they do have other, milder options if you’re a p*ssy and can’t take the heat.

Bonnie’s grill is kind of a dive. It’s not exactly the cleanest looking place and you won’t find well dressed ladies lunching here: t his is a beer and wings place. They are unabashedly proud of the fact that they are a beer and wing place. To be fair, its probably not legitimate to call them a dive since their bathroom is very clean and nice smelling. But the random things like the dark interior, décor that could use a makeover and a leaking AC unit in the middle of the dining room floor add to the impression that this place is run by dudes and could use a more feminine touch. If you’ve ever lived with other guys, you would know what I mean. The wings here though are excellent. Medium sized, well fried with a crispy skin by juicy and tender meat on the inside. The art of the buffalo wing is mastered here and I can’t recall the last time I had a better wing. They also are not joking when they say the wings are spicy: I ordered the Medium which is option 2⁄4 and while it wasn’t tears out of my eyes spicy, it definitely had a little kick. There’s nothing worse than a restaurant that claims something is «extra spicy» and it comes back with nothing. Bonnie’s is not that kind of place: proceed here at your own risk. For most people I wouldn’t recommend going beyond mild/medium. Only go past medium(2nd out of 4 levels) if you are truly a serious spice eater. As for as strictly buffalo wings goes, Bonnie’s is probably as good as it gets at a reasonable price: $ 9 for 10. There are no jerk wings or other exotic flavors to be found here however… if you’re looking for anything besides Buffalo/BBq, look elsewhere.

This review is for my quick lunch yesterday at Bonnie’s Grill. Can’t speak for everything on the menu, but I ordered a Bonnie’s cuban(grilled chicken, swiss, pickles, house chipotle mayo, Canadian bacon) on a hoagie and it was huge! The sandwich was served on perfectly charred bread with a generous helping of their homemade chipotle mayo – this sauce is crack! I mean… I had the desire to put it on a great many things, but reserved it for the food on my plate and resisted the urge to run away with their squirt bottle. Very tasty and I’d actually revisit this spot for another $ 14 go-round. Not at all a fancy spot – has an old school diner/pub kind of feel to it. There are some small tables and a few booths, in addition to bar seating, where you can look right into the grill area and see your food being made. The area is dimly lit, they’ve got beer on tap and some bottled in the cooler. Overall, it looks like what I imagine a truck stop diner to be. The staff are very friendly and the service was extremely fast. The fries were fresh, golden and fried to a wonderful crisp-delish! Not gourmet fancy, but definitely a great bite when I had to be in the area for a work meeting. Thanks, Bonnie’s!

I can’t stress this enough: these are the best wings I’ve had in New York so far. When you walk into Bonnie’s you walk into a small little area that smells absolutely amazing. Everyone seems to know each other and you can hear the fryers buzzing the entire time you’re there. But the atmosphere has nothing on the food. The wings are absolutely the best in NYC. They’re so well cooked, not dry or soggy at all, and the sauce is just the perfect amount of hot. The burgers and the pulled pork sandwich are well worth it as your main dish and you’ll never leave with an empty stomach. Did I mention the wings are THEBEST? A can’t-miss spot if you ever want to get a great meal.

If you ask a good spot to get buffalo wings in Park Slope, I will recommend Bonnie’s Grill in a heartbeat. It has a nice crunch in the outside and I’m not fighting to take a bite of my wings because the meat is soft and juicy. They also have some ipa’s and seasonal beers which is always a plus in my book. However, I did not enjoy my chicken breast sandwich. The chicken was burnt on the edges and the meat was dry. The fries were okay, when all else fails french fries usually saves the day but not this time. The atmosphere is very laid back and has an old style diner feel to it. Also, just a heads up the kitchen is open and it tends to get a bit smoky inside.

Buffalo. It’s given us such great things like… Ummmm… Ugh… Wait… The Bills? No not them… Is our side of Niagra Falls the… Oh it’s the bad side… Uhhhhh… Ahh yes! Buffalo Wings! In particular the awesome wings and people behind Bonnie’s. Bonnie’s is a fixture and staple in the heart of Park Slope. Located on 5th avenue amongst many other great places to eat. If you’re in the mood for legit buffalo wings this is your place. So no matter where you are in Brooklyn this should be destination número uno for buffalo wings. And is automatically in the conversation for wings overall in Brooklyn. It goes toe to toe, or wing to wing with one other spot I know, but that place does exotic hot wings. You like them hot? They’ll give them to you that way. The owners are from Buffalo and know what they’re doing. Buffalo being the birthplace of hot wings. Is this just a wing spot? Nope! They also have one of the best burgers in town. Depending on how your like your seasoning, they might have your perfect burger. If you haven’t tried Bonnie’s yet, come check them out. And if you don’t like hot wings, you must be a communist and we’re not friends.

I had a great experience here. I came here with a friend on New Year’s Eve. We placed in our orders and received our food. We had already started our meal when the waitress came over and asked us if we were willing to move to another table to accommodate a group of six that just came in. The place is small and there isn’t much seating so if we said no, the group would probably have to wait until we were done with our meal. She stressed that it was totally up to us. With a bit of awkwardness, we moved to another table. When the check came, the waitress took the beer off our tab. That was nice and we left on a good note. The bacon is very good. Thick and crispy. I love the thin fries. They were crisp… not soggy like the McDonald fries. Chipotle mayo was very tasty. I usually dip my fries with ketchup but I used the mayo instead.
