Try a Bite at our Gourmet Deli, whether it be a Hero to go or our homemade chicken casserole. Produce is stocked and turned over each day to provide you with fresh Fruits and Vegetables. We are also Now partnered with Grow NYC Green Market to provide the best organic Produce in the 5 Boroughs. Lines are fully stocked due to the expansion of our store and it doesn’t stop there. We are adding new items weekly to our store shelves and hope you are delighted as to what we have to offer. If you have anything in mind, give us a call and we will be glad to have it available the next week!

History

Established in 1976.

Back in the days, Associated Supermarket was just a merely one store (15 ft wide) that offered the neccessaties to daily life. My Dad arrived to the US on 1976 in september and Opened business the following month. It was hard at first, not knowing the language, tradition or customs of American Life. However, he managed, with the best of his ability to give his best to the community. After being in Business for about 9 years, our first expansion was underway. We purchased an Empty store next to us and offered a larger 5 lane Market. Shelves werent full to the maximum capacity, but it was good enough. Shortly, another 6 years later, yet another store was bought which allowed us to expand even more. Currently, it has 15 lanes.

Now it comes to today, with the help of the community, our beloved customers and the peaceful neighborhood of park slope, we are a striving business dedicated to providing the best care for our guests and to treat you with the utmost sincerity.

Business Owner

Born in Yemen, Musleh was always dedicated to bringing happiness to everyone he meets. He was raised in a small village in Ibb, a small city in the heart of Yemen. He was a Goat Herder trying to provide for his family. He has always dreamed to be a successful person in life in which he can provide for his family with the care and nourishment they need. After living his childhood years throughout his teenage years, he was known as a mature young man who knew what had to be done and how to do it. It was until one day, his Grandfather offered him a Gig to go work in the US and to make something of himself. Musleh didn’t hesitate at all and accepted gracefully. Now, being the Manager and owner of Associated Supermarket, in the Quiet, peaceful neighborhood of Park slope, he sure has come a long way to where he is now, and lives life giving back to the community here in Park slope, NY. Not a day goes by where he says he would love to go back to his hometown and live on the Farm.
