History

Established in 2013.

A Step Ahead Tutoring Services was formed by Gabrielle C. on August 8, 2013. While she pursues a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she wanted to combine mental health and education; she saw an undeniably strong relationship between the two entities. With her passion for mental health and zeal for education, she came up with the following mission statements: The missions of A Step Ahead Tutoring Services are to tackle the academic challenges of our students and the emotional, mental, and behavioral changes that result from these challenges. We aim to accomplish these through face-​to-​face and online interactions. In doing so, we fulfill the belief that we will improve the entire being of our students.

Gabrielle C.

Business Owner

Gabrielle C. is currently a Masters student at St. John’s University via the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Prior to graduate school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, along with a minor in Italian, at Temple University in 2009. After graduate school, she plans to pursue her licensure in mental health counseling and, in the near future, open a private practice in New York.
