I loved my experience here tonight. First time visit and had an hour and a half back attack with Jill. My back and hips have been hurting quite a bit recently and I was nervous about both the time and the unknown person massaging me. I used Unilocal and found a great review of Jill so I booked an appointment with her online, showed up and received a phenomenal massage. She has such strong hands and seemed to intuit when to press harder and when to back off from the knots in my muscles.
I’d recommend Brennan Massage and Spa for a massage (haven’t experienced anything else with them). The person at the front desk was welcoming and was joyous– a pleasure to interact with.

First Time visiting and I can honestly say I walked out of the spa feeling like a new woman! I had Iris work on my back and shoulders. Not only was she amazing and knows what she is doing she also is very professional. The receptionist was great with all the customers. I say this because when I was leaving their lobby was completely full. Can’t wait to book my next massage!

First time visitor and really liked it. It was a quaint little place, very clean and encourages soft voices for a peaceful ambiance.

This was my first visit and the experience was awesome! I had just completed a half marathon, so naturally I expected soreness. From the moment stepping in I felt welcomed and relaxed. I received a 90 minute deep tissue massage. The therapist was very professional and did a great job. I definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

My husband and I received a couples massage here, and the experience was great!!! We’ll definitely be returning.

I love this spa! I am always looking for a good spa especially if they are independently own and Brennan is all I’ve been looking for in a spa. I went in for a massage after months of not getting one and I had a great experience. Iris was my massage therapist and she was great. She definitely made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She did an awesome job. I love the atmosphere of the spa and the service I received. I will be going back soon!

First time here and I absolutely loved it! Had a one hour full body hot stone massage with Erica. She was so attentive to my tense areas and made me feel so relaxed! The whole atmosphere makes you feel welcome and at home. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been to Brennan twice. First I went for a facial — honestly I can say that the facial was just okay. My biggest pet peeve — using a Clarisonic during a facial. Like I have one at home, if I wanted to I’d skip the facial and just use the Clarisonic regularly. I’ve been to two spa’s that do this. I just like a good old fashioned hand facial scrub/​massage action. But anywho, what made up for my facial a couple months back was my massage yesterday. Today is my birthday so I treated myself to a massage with Madeline. I got a 60min Back Attack. Omg! It was great. I carry most of my stress in my back — mainly upper and Madeline managed to hit all my pressure points and work out some of my knots. I’m feeling a little sore today but a good relaxed sore. I will be back in the future to see Madeline again to work out some more knots.

I am a huge fan of their 90 minute back attack! Erica has worked wonders to reduce the knots in my shoulders and lower back. The owner, Abby, is always upbeat and truly concerned with how your service was. They serve A Mighty Lead Tea (my new favorite) or water after your service. They have lots of spa products to purchase but unlike many of the other commercial spas– they don’t push sales of these products. If you are in the area I highly recommend a stress relieving visit to Brennan’s!

Brennan Massage & Spa is my go to for deep tissue Massage. I have my favorite Therapists. Jill is very knowledgable about how to stretch out the muscles as well as amazing with deep tissue massage and I always leave her feeling like I know something that can help me after the massage as well. Amy has a strong touch that can really get rid of lots of knots in my back. I have been going for years and will continue to do so. I have recommended the Spa to several of my friends and family members and many take advantage of this beautifully restored building in the middle of Brookfield. I’m so glad they are there. Abby and her team really do help me function better.

I received an hour and a half massage from my son (I think Daddy helped a little) for my birthday. We’ve lived nearby for 3 years and I’ve always wanted to go but hadn’t had the chance yet. We were recently in a car accident and even with regular chiropractic care I have still been dealing with back pain and been in need of a full body massage. My massage with Iris was the best massage I’ve ever had. She means business when she does deep tissue! But every time I’d be about ready to say ‘uncle’ and ask for a little less pressure she seemed to know and ease up with more soothing strokes before going back in to get rid of my more stubborn knots. I feel the best I have since the accident. I’m sure I’ll be a little sore tomorrow but she also gave me tips to minimize that and some stretches to do to help. I feel like a new woman and will be making more of an effort to go more regularly!

I love this spa! People are friendly and laid back and services are always done well! Love them!!!

Execellent clean and professional facility. Abby and her staff does a fantastic job. I have been dealing with a sore neck and scheduled a couple visits with one of
Abby’s masseuse and she was amazing very attentive to making sure, she was not applying to much pressure. After a few visits I feel like a new person.

I recently went to Brennan for a prenatal massage as I am 34 weeks pregnant. I had Amy. It may have been the best massage ever! So relaxing! She focused on where I had tension and did an amazing job. I already booked my next appointment. Cute, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Facial & massage…
Fiancé had a 5 star experience with a seasoned esthetician and masseuse. I had a 2 star experience with masseuse who started that day and esthetician who didn’t know what she was talking about. Both were very young & new but very nice. I’m sure one day they will be great but it won’t be at my expense again.
To clarify: I had a few very questions about skin care and asked for product suggestions and did not get any response.

I love this place. The owner is super friendly and sincere. I would totally recommend this spa!

I love this place. I’ve been there four times, three of which have been within 5 months. At first, the thought of a massage totally creeped me out but I got over that very quickly when I realized how damn good it felt.
They run pretty good «specials» and I had a birthday coupon so I used that in combination with whatever special massage was happening in March.
A few months later, they offered a girlfriend package that was a mini facial and mini massage (which didn’t feel mini at all) with champagne for like $ 50 or $ 60 a person. Um, yes. So I treated a coworker and we had a fabulous time.
Then last weekend, I dragged my husband to the August promotion which happened to be a couples massage coinciding with our 6^th wedding anniversary — also came with champagne and candlelight. He doesn’t drink so I got two glasses out of the deal. Win for me (and win for him later when we got home).
The place is «adorbz» and the ambiance is totally normal, not weird at all. The people are awesome, especially Abby the owner. I’ve emailed back and forth with her about a bikini wax which I’m still way too chicken to follow through on but eventually, I’ll do it. It might takes years, but I will do it.
Each time I’ve gone, I’ve had a different massage therapist or masseuse or whatever you call it and they’ve all been great.
Massages are going to be my new indulgence now. My goal is to try all of the ones that they offer and to take advantage of their monthly deals when I can.

I’ve been to Brennan three or four times now for facials and massages and have had really good experiences each time. The spa is in an old home in downtown Brookfield, and I love the charm of the old building. The lobby is a beautiful, sun-​drenched, quiet space. I’ve been in three of the rooms and all have been very clean with nice décor.
Everyone here is very friendly. I recently had a Pure Restoration facial with Irma and my skin is looking and feeling great. Can’t recall the name of the masseuse I had last time, but my last massage was great as well.
The only thing I wish Brennan had was a relaxation room for people to lounge about in their robes before/​after services, but I understand that the layout of the building just doesn’t allow for this. I’ll definitely keep coming back to Brennan.

I took a chance and got a full body and facial wax done here, I had spa wish gift certificates and this place was listed, and it’s close to me. I like the intimate setting, the friendliness of the staff, and the waxing itself was great. They use lavender wax and another type for sensitive skin, which worked great for my sensitive skin.
I was on the lookout for my biggest pet peeve of waxing: double dipping. The technician did not double dip the waxing sticks at all, which made me feel great that I was in a clean place.
The heated pad under the table was a nice touch and kept me nice and comfortable during my wax. I prefer this type of quaint, intimate spa over a large spa any time. I will come back for more services in the future.

In the interest of full disclosure I feel I need to mention my bias against getting massages at a spa. I don’t really like the idea of paying a stranger to touch me. Don’t get me wrong; I have no problem with strangers touching me, I just don’t like to pay for it. The way I figure it the amount of massaging I’d need to combat the incessant and pervasive tension that defines my muscles would cost at least $ 2000 a month. Being totally honest with you, I just can’t bring myself to spend that on massages when I could spend it on hookers and blow. I prefer to get my massages from non-​strangers in my own home who don’t require me to pay them after they’ve lulled me into drooling sleepiness.
So! That being said, you can either keep reading and consider my review with the appropriate grain of salt, or you can stop reading and move on to the next review. I won’t know either way.
I needed to make a last minute appointment for an hour long deep tissue massage when the tension in my neck and face became too much to bear. I was going to be getting my nails done nearby, Unilocal search to the rescue, Brennan Massage & Spa here I come.
Brennan is located in a charming old house on what looks like a charming little street in Brookfield. This is important to note as old houses tend to be drafty in the winter. And this is why they don’t have 5 stars. It was so cold in there! After a quick discussion about which muscles needed the most attention Deanna said «go ahead and undress to your level of comfort and lay face down on the table». UN-​dress to my level of comfort?! In a sweater dress and tights I’d have been more comfortable putting more clothes on than taking any off. But, never one to pass up an opportunity to get naked, I did as I was told. Deanna went to have the heat turned up. She also cranked up the heat on the massage table heating pad.
She did a great job. One of the better massages I’ve had. The pressure on my face and jaw was perfect. By the time my hour was up I was almost totally warm again. You’ll find a lovely spa atmosphere with soft lighting, quiet music, and scented things lying about. Adding to the relaxing atmosphere was the lack of chatting from Deanna. It’s not that I don’t like to talk to people when I get spa services, it’s just the voices in my head get jealous when I talk to other people. As an added bonus the price for the hour long massage was only $ 80. Not bad at all for a good massage.
The room was so chilly that I quickly pulled my shoulders up to my ears when I got out from under the blanket to get dressed. If not for that I’d gladly give them that 5^th star. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back though. Maybe next time I’ll bring a snuggie…
