Paisans Pizza

Ah, Paisans, the Brookfield staple. My family has been patronizing this pizza place nearly all my life. This pizza is fantastic from the cheese to the bread-​y crust (I usually opt for extra thin). The most divisive part about their pies is the sauce, since they opt for a sweeter flavor opposed to salty of garlic-​y. I find the flavor delightful and unique. People seem to either love or hate the sweet sauce, I of course fall into the former category.
The Brookfield location is currently undergoing a full renovation, while they still deliver and offer take-​out. They also offer good deals for schools and non-​profits.

Ok I have to say that I love Paisans pizza! It’s definitely a treat every time we order and the fact that you get free soda with your pizza is awesome. .. But seriously guys, who is cutting the pizza back there in the kitchen??? I’ve never seen a cut job like this! LMFAOOOOO I’ll be a forever customer, but come on now guys.

The Sicilian style cheese pizza is amazing. The restaurant is kind of dingy, I would recommend take out or delivery.

I wish I could give this place a rating lower than 1 star. The manager, Valon, is a horrible person to be running this place. My family is regular customers here. Yesterday my sister called to place a big order for pickup today consisting of 3 jumbo pizzas and garlic sauce. The manager tried to charge her $ 47.00 for the garlic sauce when she paid $ 20.00 every other time she ordered the garlic sauce. The manager then told my sister that she is not a reasonable person and she obviously doesn’t know how to read. He was screaming at her I could hear him screaming while sitting across the room from her. She told him to cancel the order because she did not like being disrespected by a manager of a pizza place as a customer. Then she hung up the phone. He called her back two times to continue to yell at her. This is disgusting. No one should be treated this way. I would advise people to not go here anymore. My family will no longer be giving them business. They need to reevaluate who they hire and obviously work on the customer service.

Been here many times … Pizza has always been good … This time ordered a stuffed pizza and it totally sucked… First we waited 40 mins (which was fine) … Pizza came sooooo cold I built to courage to send it back to reheat, only to have it come back as cold … Lesson learned !!!

I grew up near paisans so I’m very familiar with this place. The pizza sauce is a sweet sauce which is delicious when ordering a whole pizza. The slices on the other hand aren’t so good because you can tell they’ve been sitting out for a long time and they just re heat it in the oven. Other then that the pizza is good most of the time, except for lately. About 3 weeks ago I ordered a 3 topping pizza and they forgot to put sausage on my pizza. And they barely put any ricotta cheese on it. Next time I ordered I made sure to order extra ricotta cheese and they definitely didn’t put extra on my pizza. Not too happy about it, but I love that sweet sauce too much to call it quits over a topping issue. Last night I ordered a large Sicilian pizza and mozzarella sticks for delivery. They told me it would be about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half. I called back after an hour and 40 minutes to see if my order was on the way, I was starving at this point. The girl told me they couldn’t find my order and that they had no recollection of me ordering and gave me a «manager» to speak with. He offered me 20 $ off of my 40 $ order and I said no I don’t want to wait another 40 minutes to eat because that’s how long that pizza takes to make. He then started saying he’s going to put my pizza in the oven right now and I said wait wait wait how do you know what I ordered if you guys have no recollection of me ordering the pizza? Sounds like some B.S. To me. I told him I don’t want 20 $ off this time i am
Not waiting that long to eat I’ll grab something else at this point. So I asked him for a 20 $ credit off the next time I order and he said no. So I said well forget about it then you just lost yourself a customer who’s been ordering for years. I then went to portillos… On my way to portillos the «manager» called me back and said Dan your pizza will be ready in less then 10 minutes. I was livid I told him I told you I don’t want it anymore what do you not get about that??? I told him at least 6 times when I talked to him on the phone the first time I don’t want it anymore. Anyways the guy called me today and decided he was going to give me a 20 $ credit off the next time I order… If he hadn’t done that I would have never ordered from this location again, I would just take the trip to Cicero instead. So lucky for him.

We had a hankering for pizza and decided to try Paisan’s because every time we drive pass it the place seems pretty busy. We live in town but wanted delivery. After reading the reviews I was a big hesitant but threw caution to the proverbial wind and made the call. The lady who answered was fine. No issues there. We had an early order; 530pm and I specifically asked how long it would be and she said less than an hour. 35 minutes later the pie arrived! I was relieved because after all the complaints on Unilocal I was worried. Then I opened the box and everything looked fine. Unfortunately we just didn’t care for the overly sweet sauce and giant onion chunks. The customer service and delivery were awesome. Too bad we didn’t care for the pizza. I will try their wings in the future.

I halve been in many times and the customer service has been so much better! The pizza is always good and still my favorite. I try to do pick up now instead of delivery so I don’t have any problems.

This is one of my local Pizza places and for the most part it’s OK pizza. I go there maybe once every couple of months, last time I was at the park and called ahead to place an order, they told me 30 minutes and I showed up 30 minutes later, when I showed up the first thing the cashier tells me is that I am early, no I was not, but fine I let it slide, I ended up waiting for 40 extra minutes for that pie, something tells me they forgot to make it and did not have the decency to apologize and be honest about what had happened, if I hadn’t paid already I would have left, there is no reason for a pie to take one hour and 10 minutes to be ready, specially when there were only two more customers over there. I think this is the last time I will go to that location. In the end the pizza isn’t even that good.

I started going to this place about a year ago. The pizza was amazing and I can’t ever get enough of it! When my family and I go out to eat for pizza in the area we always go here. We almost always go for the double cheese, pepperoni, and sausage pizza which always comes out with great, sweet sauce. One of my top favorite places to eat at.

Best Italian beef EVER!!! Usually order the pizza which is really good too but decided to try something different. My son had the Italian sub and he loved it. Over all everything we have tried from there is pretty good.

They don’t honor their promotions.
My son likes their pizza. I find the sauce to sweet.
I saved about 30 tickets for my free cheese pizza and when I went to order they said that promotion stopped. I lived and have been a customer there for over 10 years. Order a pizza at least 2 times a month. You think they would let the customer know that a promotion is expiring and to use your tickets.
The customer service has always been questionable. And the person who answered the phone didn’t honestly care that I would no longer be back.
I choose to NO longer go there, there are many other pizza places.

Not sure why this doesn’t have a better rating. It’s one of the tastiest pizzas around. If you get sausage you have to tell them «easy sausage» otherwise it’s overwhelming. But the pizza is quality with good ingredients.

If customer service is important to you… do not order from here.
We recently ordered and received the wrong pizza. Not everyone was aware of what was ordered and started eating. As soon as I noticed that our order was incorrect (we ordered cheese and got what I believe to be meatlover’s) I called. When I told the girl who answered the phone her response was, «Okay. We will make you a new one right now but whatever you do, don’t touch the one that you got. When we have the driver bring you the new one he will pick that one up.» When I told her that our guests didn’t know what we were ordering so a few were missing I was immediately put on hold. When she picked back up she said, «Yeah, since you ate part of that one there is nothing we can do.» Rather than argue about it I just got off the phone.
Are you kidding me? We order from here regularly and this just disgusts me. What were they planning on doing with the pizza they were picking up? We already waited almost an hour for the first pizza and now we have to wait again and you want this one back? Were they planning on delivering this cold pizza to someone else? I’ve had this happen before from other restaurants and we have NEVER had any of them ask for the wrong item back. When you screw up and we call to let you know you should apologize and fix it. Not make your customer feel like they did something wrong.
PAISAN’S… TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS BEFORE YOU DON’T HAVE ANY.

BEST pizza I’ve ever had. Love this place with a passion. Since I was a kid I always loved coming here for family parties and now I order for take out whenever I can. Nothing beats this pizza. I could live on it alone.
BBQ wings are really good, other than that I haven’t tried much else cause I never see a reason to.
Glad to see this place doing well opening other locations. I don’t know what I would do without the pizza. It’s God’s gift to all pizza lovers like myself.

Holy angsty teenagers! After our annual trip to the Brookfield Zoo, we decided to try a new pizzeria afterwards and boy was that a mistake. The place looked alright, in the sense of your typical small town, maybe family owned restaurant. Not the cleanest of places but what do you expect from a pizza joint.
We ordered our meal and spent 50 bucks for some partially defrosted mozzarella sticks and 2 pizzas with melted rubber on top of them. We walked to a table waiting for it to be cleaned considering the fact that there were 8 of us and we needed a larger table. The tough as nails pushy girl from behind the counter rushed over, rolled her eyes and exclaimed «gotta finish cleaning this before you sit guys.» Which is absolutely understandable but the tone was so rude we all went silent except for one person in our party who politely said «no problem, thanks so much.» The food arrived and my cousin spent 5 minutes sawing into the pizza, during which time a couple people wanted silverware. I got up and asked for silverware and ranch from the front counter, got a short and annoyed response and stood waiting for the ranch that I had to pay a dollar for (because clearly ranch is a delicacy.) This apparently upset the angry girl, who then yelled from behind the pizza window, «go sit down I’ll bring it to you!» Her eyes burned with hatred, I wasn’t sure what she hated more me or her job.
I walked over to my table and we all bursted out laughing, we felt like we were in Nazi Germany! She walked over and threw them in front of us. We thanked her and she walked away.
All the employees were loud and rude behind the counter and did not care for their customers at all. I left feeling uncomfortable and ill from the 2 pieces of pizza I forced down my throat.
I hope my stomach can digest rubber or I’m in for a rough night. Never returning again, not only because of the terrible pizza but the horrendous service.

I ordered the ½ BBQ chicken dinner with a salad. My mother ordered the chicken parmigiana. Decent food, not too pricey. We sat inside and ate, the service was a bit slow and the counter girl was rude. But overall, the meal was decent, we enjoyed it… Will be returning and try pizza next time

Amazing Chicago-​style thin-​crust pizza (Yes it is a thing, way more authentic than that «deep dish» tourist nonsense that was invented by a Texan!) Crust is crisp and flaky, cheese and toppings are delicious and perfectly portioned. Sauce is delicious too, though a little on the sweet side, which some people may not like. For my money it’s one of the best Chicago-​style thin crust pizzas out there.

I just don’t like sweet sauce. That’s why this place is not for me.
I had not had it in about a year because I don’t seek this pizza out. Had pizza at my aunt’s house about a week ago and didn’t know where the pizza was from. Was eating it and just not enjoying. Found out later it was Paisans. It’s that sweet sauce, just not my style.
I will say a good crispy crust though.

A coworker brought this in for us and was immediately impressed. The crust was not the best but I contribute that to the cold outside and how long it took him to get downtown. The sauce was not sickening sweet like some places. Huge plus! Plus I can’t get over how their pepperoni did not make the pizza greasy. That was another bonus.
Overall good pizza. Can’t wait to check out their place for myself.
