This place is so awesome! Affordable flowers for any event that you may have! We ordered our flowers two weeks in advance and there was no problem! Got two boxes of roses and a box of mixed colored hydrangeas for $ 75! Can’t beat that! We’ve come here for all our events! Great place :)

It’s great now that the flower market has moved from the dark and dingy Yankee Stadium area to the waterfront open parking lot with the slight smell of fish in the air at the new Hunts Point Terminal Fish Market, formerly known as the «Fulton Fish Market».
Trucks arrive early and at 5 am I am there with a neighbor filling our cars with flowers for our home gardens. There are a variety of gardening flowers like impatiens, begonias, petunias, pansies, large pots of hydrangeas, azaleas, hibiscus trees, etc.
Believe me that you will get a real bargain here. For example, a tray of impatiens which consist of 40 plants will cost you $ 10 compared to retail stores who charge $ 12 and add tax at the end. Yes saving $ 2 a tray might not seem much but when you buy 5 – 10 trays like most depending on your garden size, it’s all worth it.
Pros: Flowers are fresh and plenty. Sellers are very friendly and helpful. Less expensive than retail. NO TAX.
Cons: $ 5 charge per car for entry via toll plaza into the market.
