Diplo Limo and Car Service

I did not use this service however I often see them on the road in the Bronx. Last week one of them almost hit me on the Cross Bronx Expressway — he changed lanes with no signal and I’m sure he didn’t look either — and he almost clipped the front of my car. I called to complain but I’m pretty sure it won’t go anywhere.
Second issue was this morning — I was driving and one of their cars was in front of me. The driver threw a Dunkin Donuts cup out of the window in front of a home and kept driving. Disgusting.
If I ever need a car service I will call Kiss or Prestige — NEVER Diplo.

Funny how someone else mentioned about bjs in the Bronx. I had an horrible experience just the other day with someone supposedly from this company. It was in a yellow cab but used for service. He even had a sign. He even helped me n my mother putting the shopping stuff in his trunk. So I asked how much. He says $ 15 I said ok. We got in. On the way there I called the company to confirm. So it was $ 15 no problem. At that point I was fine with it. Then out of no where he starts raising his voice and saying he already told me it was $ 15. Getting so loud and rude I wanted to call the cops. But I said let me report him. I called the base after the ride and they said call back to speak to some on Monday. So I then spoke to a girl that goes by the name Elizabeth. Spoke to her today on Tuesday. She says they do not use yellow cars and do not have an employee named Fransisco Mateo. What I will do now is contact 311 for the yellow cabs to report him. He was so disrespectful and doesn’t need to work with cabs any more. And this company needs to stop letting people have their signs for Diplo.

If you are at BJ’s in the Bronx. … use someone else. the prices just keep increasing! Exponentially. And to be clear the service is awful! Simply put they are taking advantage of a captive audience. Why is zero not an option???

This service deserves negative stars. I called today needing a cab and the operator rudely stated there were no cars on my corner. I asked if there was a wait time or if there were any cabs close by that can come to me. He was very impatiently said no there are no cabs on your corner. I heard you the first time there is no need to be so rude.
I would not ever use this service and advise others to do the same.

I saw one of their cars today (B01196) at around 1:15pm almost hit three cars on the 207^th street bridge. There weren’t any passengers in the car (thankfully!) but the driver was on his phone and was writing on a clipboard while swerving in and out of lanes !!! I stayed as far away from this car as possible but some were not so lucky. He came inches from clipping another car and the driver almost swerved into the embankment trying to miss this guy! I would be very careful before calling a car from this company — you may not make it to your destination on one piece!!!

I did not use this service but was nearly run over on Bennett Avenue by one of their cars. The driver whipped around the corner of 192^nd Street onto Bennett Avenue, going far in excess of the posted speed limit. Nearly hit me and my dog as we crossed the street. I flagged the driver to slow down as he suddenly slowed down… only to get honked at, glared at and given an uncivilized gesture.
The driver should be fired and the service should be more careful of who they hire.
