If I could give this company zero stars, I would.
Called on Sunday afternoon (January 10th) to schedule a time for someone to do a walk through with regards to a moving quote. Spoke with a gentleman who stated he could come the following morning (January 11th) at 7am to do a walk through before I had to leave for work. Woke up the next morning bright and early to prepare, only to be stood up. It is now Tuesday, January 12th, and STILL no one has called to (i) apologize or (ii) reschedule. If this company can’t even keep a simple appointment, who knows if they are capable of actually moving!

STAY AWAY FROM BEN HUR: They managed to loose two big pieces of furniture and refused to be accountable for them. One of them was an antique chair, irreplaceable, part of a group of eight! And a large Table lamp, one of a pair.
Paid tons of money to Ben Hur to pack all my belongings, store them while work was done in my apartment and return them a month later. Well, should be a basic task for a moving company, no?
When I told them about the missing pieces they couldn’t come up with any explanation, send me a claim form to fill up. I send them all the receipts of the missing items and cost to replace them. My claim was about $ 1500.-, they came back to me with A $ 175.- settlement.
What a joke! Will bring the matter to small claim court

they should be slapped with a discrimination suit for not giving certain class of individuals the right to a equal opportunity to employment .and the orientations that are being held on the company grounds. are hours long held against your own will. without pay when they should be paying people to attend there long grueling orientations that are pointless nonsense rules and regulations explained by a fucking idiot so called warehouse jackass manager speaking to grown men like there 3 year olds. $ 9 an hour no benefits no overtime go fuck yourself ben hur moving. theres better moving companies in nyc I wouldn’t recommend this ghetto ass company to anyone. they don’t hire felons they said. but meanwhile the majority of there employees look like felons. thanks for wasting my time.

We have been using Ben Hur Self Storage for almost a year now and they have been great. I feel our belongings are secure and the price was very good. We have also used Ben Hur movers (twice) and had great experiences both times.
