Amazing local breakfast joint. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for some wonderful high quality breakfast. The home fries are fantastic!

Very good breakfast place! My boyfriend and I Choose this place almost every time we go out for breakfast. Pancakes and omelette a are very good as is everything else we have tried including their lunch options. Prices are fair and service is usually good despite the waitresses having a lot of tables to cover.

Found this little place that I would’ve never thought it was so good if I judged it from the outside. This Mom & Pop dinner packs a beautiful operation. You are greeted by a nice gentleman at the door. The waitresses help each other out and give you great attention and service. You’ll love it.

Stopped in for breakfast today… took wife & daughter out for Mother’s Day. Food was good other than the hash browns… Not sure if they were trying to make them healthy or what but seemed like they were baked potatoes that were just heated up on a grill… really needed to be more crispy & have some flavor… Other than that all was good.

Fantastic little place!!! Food is always good and the staff is very friendly! I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the coffee could be better.

Haven’t been here in a while, but this place is hit or miss. The food is usually fairly decent and the service friendly, but not very efficient. The last time I was here, we sat at our table for about 25 minutes without anyone coming to even get our drink order, so we left. The time before was much better, yummy food and friendly staff. I even helped the woman behind the cash register on her game of Words with Friends. It was a nice atmosphere, casual, and not absurdly expensive for what you get. I would not make an effort to come here, but I would give it another try if I was in the area and jonesing for breakfast.

Average place. Very nice staff! Coffee was not enjoyable, pancakes were good but lacked a nice taste, syrup was tasteless, home fries plain, no wow factor about this place. Came here on accident, meant to go to shore point bbq where I heard is excellent. This place needs to re evaluate their food. Very plain. Sorry not enough options for pancake house.

Yum! First off let me say Tony(the owners wife and our server) was fantastic! Super sweet woman and she really cares about her customers. I have driven past this place a million times and never knew it was there, until I saw a review on Unilocal about it, so thank you Unilocal! My fiancé and I went there 2 days ago for an early breakfast and didn’t eat until dinner that night, so filling! I had 2 whole wheat pancakes with FRESH bananas and walnuts. He had 2 eggs over easy, well done bacon, home fries and the short stack(he’s a hungry guy in the morning lol). Even the coffee was good! I just thought the small glass of OJ was a little pricy but overall they got 4 stars from us. Keep up the fantastic work. Because we will definitely be back! And I personally thank you for having«healthy» choices on the menu.

My favorite breakfast place in the area! Rick and Toni have always made us feel right at home(and Toni is the greatest server you’ll ever have!). I always struggle with whether I want a sweet or a savory breakfast, but I never have that problem at Shore Good… because you can order ONE pancake!(seriously, I have tried to order one pancake at other establishments and they forbid ordering any less than TWO pancakes). We’ve also been known to split an order of silver dollar pancakes as a breakfast«appetizer.» I also recommend the poor boy omelet, which is filled with pork roll and cheese. You’re also welcome to bring champagne to make your own mimosas. I mean, we always did.

Finally tried this place after a good long while of wanting to. The rooms acoustics make for a strangely noisey time, but the food makes up for it in a big way.

We went here for a late lunch. Daughter had the blueberry pancakes and thought it was great. Hubs had the egg white vegetable omelet and thought it was light and tasty. It made him want more. I had the Smoke Salmon Benedict and loved mine as well. Service was really friendly and the place was really cute and clean. A great find in Brick! Will definitely return!

First time here. Service is friendly and fast. Coffee is fresh. Pancakes were pretty good but the eggs and bacon were eh. Very annoyed though. They have a special in their menu that’s 8.99 for«two eggs, two cakes and choice of breakfast meat.» My boyfriend and I both ordered this. I added bananas to my pancakes and we both chose turkey bacon for our meat. We got the check and they up charged both of us $ 1 for the turkey bacon. We asked the cashier(who I presume was owner) because it says clear as day on the menu that it’s a «choice of breakfast meat» and all she said was, «Oh. It does say that. Sorry it’s still an extra dollar,» despite the fact the sign behind her head said if there is a problem, to let them know. And because of the principle of the matter, we will not be going back.

Sorry but I do not agree with the majority of the other reviewers here. I have nothing bad to say but nothing really god to say either and the price point indicates somewhat less than a decent value. Service efficient but not overly friendly, pancakes just average and poached eggs OK but a weak sausage patty. Clean but certainly not pristine. Bottom line It’s OK but would not go out of my way to go there for a breakfast again…

«Are you still serving breakfast?» «We always serve breakfast.» Works for me, especially when I strolled in here already past noon craving a great meal. Located in a standalone, white building within the Dorado Plaza, SGPH definitely doesn’t draw you in with any gimmicks. Hell, they don’t even have a sign, so look for the cartoon eggs painted in the window. However, the interior dining area is much more inviting and sizable. The lady at the cash register welcomed me, handed me a menu plus a copy of the daily newspaper and told me I could have the table in the corner. I looked over the menu and quickly determined I wanted pancakes. I mean, it’s right there in the name, so I had to get them. But, I wanted them as part of one of their breakfast combos with scrambled eggs and sausage links. Their PB&J pancakes sounded odd, yet intriguing, but the waitress steered me to the peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes. No arm twisting needed on her part. Sold! The food was delivered quickly with melting chips sprinkled all over the top of the pancakes on one plate and the eggs and sausage on another. The pancakes were fluffy, filling and understandably sweet. The fresh scrambled eggs were cooked just right and the two huge sausage links deserved the fork and knife treatment before it was all said and done. Although it was $ 8.99, excluding coffee, this shore was an excellent way to start the day.

Where do I begin? This has to be the single best breakfast I’ve had in ages. Now, I’m not a «breakfast guy». On the few weekends where I’m actually awake before 10AM, I’m usually craving a cup of coffee more than anything else, and by 11 I’m looking for something more lunch-y. Some friends from out of town visited, and having remembered hearing about this place, I suggested we all go out for pancakes. A quick trip down the road and there we were, face to face with the most nondescript building in the entire plaza. The interior is cozy, but made to feel slightly bigger by the addition of a large mirrored wall, and just screams«mom and pop» business — just the kind of place I love, since the food is usually better than chain places. The waitress we had was exceptionally friendly, and even made a fresh pot of coffee for my group, which I found to be a really nice gesture. After looking over the menu and being unable to decide on eggs or pancakes, I decided to go for the special of the day, which included pancakes, sausages, and eggs. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and were obviously incredibly fresh, since they didn’t have any sulfur flavors. I came to find out later that the eggs used here are from a local farm, which explained the freshness. I opted for the sausage patties which while good, were nowhere near as good as a friend’s sausage links, which were the best I’d ever had — crisp on the outside while still juicy and tender on the inside. And my pancakes? Peanut butter and jelly were the variety I opted for, and boy did they deliver. Two large cakes that had jelly and peanut butter chips inside, folded over to make them«stuffed». The things were so good, that I ended up ignoring the syrup on the table entirely — a rarity for me. Other high points were the eggs benedict that a friend had, which were some of the best I’d ever had, as well as the hash browns, which were very flavorful and well seasoned, although it could have used a little more salt. Did I mention I wasn’t a breakfast person? Well, this place has had me rethinking that. One of Brick’s best kept secrets, and one that everyone should try at least once.
