After a disappointing order mistake and phone call with a cashier, the manager, Mike, personally called us, apologized for the mistake and corrected the problem in the best way. I have never had this happen after a wrong delivery order, and it stands as a testament to the quality of this restaurant. Great pizza and great service, even when the most unavoidable of mistakes happen. Make this a destination with your time in Brick.

I can remember when J&G first opened in the Dorado shopping center. There was at the time a Quick Chek a lanes drug store a Freeman’s bakery and a eye doctor. And I can also remember their pizza sucked back then only because they were competing with parkway pizza. That has been over thirty years ago. Now when I drive by the area I still see they are still there. My only question is how. I stopped by the other day and got a slice and couldn’t believe how much it hasn’t changed. Still sucks and oily and barely eatable. Won’t be going back anymore. Same as parkway pizza since they moved up the road it is a shame to since I worked at parkway pizza. When I was still in school.

One of Brick’s gems. The shopping center is old and the constant road construction is annoying, but the Pizza at J&G is incredible and worth the effort. I have been coming here for about a year now, and every single time, their pizza is truly delicious. They clearly use quality ingredients to create their pies, and it is evident in the first bite. They make simple pizzas, but also specialty combinations as well as an array of Sicilian pies. All of which are amazing. I recommend their Grandma Sicilian, Cheesesteak, and Grilled Chicken Chipotle pies, to name a few. They also make their«heavy» slices with enough bottom crust to support the toppings. It’s a minor gripe, but I hate it when other pizzerias’ slices are too thin and they fall apart from the toppings. Having worked in Brick for about 5 years, I have tried a lot of local pizza. In my opinion, they destroy the competition.

I ordered takeout delivery from here and we ordered two pizzas one with pepperoni and the other was a plain extra-large– The pepperoni was spicy pepperoni and the plain was OK– my only real issue was that even though it was delivered quickly within 30 minutes I found it to be soggy and that is a cardinal sin of good pizza–

I just moved to Brick a couple months ago from Jackson and didn’t think I would ever find somewhere as good as Enzos Pizza. This place rocks. I was never a big pizza fan, I was the girl to order something else when everyone decided on pizza. But OMG. I am obsessed with just the plain pie. The amount of cheese they put is out of this world. I could now eat their pizza every single day. And the mozzy sticks are to die for. My sister is addicted to the chicken bacon ranch. Great job guys!

I had a few disappointments when presented with the bill and was told there was an extra charge for this and that. I had dealings with several counter people. Some are very nice and I could accept any explanation from them. Then there are the very stupid ones who can only repeat what they have been instructed to say. Any improvisation shows them to be really stupid and illogical. So I had my back up a few times. But the final straw was reached when they raised their prices in way that seamed kind of sneaky to me. I picked up a color menu two weeks ago. At home, I checked the price of Lasanga, 9.95. So I went to JG and ordered it to go. I asked for extra oil and vinegar on the dinner salad. They charged a lot more than I expected. I said how can that be? «9.95 and .70 tax. The stupid clerk repeated the higher price. I asked to see a menu. The color menu’s were replaced with photo copies. When I checked the price I found the clerk was right so I assumed I mis-read the menu at home. The clerk said, we ran out of the color menu’s so we just have these copies. That was a lie. When I returned home, I checked the price again on my home menu and it was 9.95 like I thought. The clerk did not say and would not say they recently increased their prices. Instead she said they ran out of the color menus(with the old prices). I really hate it when someone lies to my face or pull the wool over my eyes. So I guess mum is the word about price increases and new menus replace the old. And no one is the wiser. Here are some examples of the price increase in August 2015: 12 inch pizza from 6.50 to 9.50 Large 16 inch pizza from 10.99 to 12.99 Plain Calzone small 7.99 to 9.49 Large from 11.99 to 14.45 I am a cost conscious person and am sensitive to these increases. Also, there is nothing special about this place. It’s just a hole in the wall. Dirty tables, broken storage cabinet with door not attached, just lying against the cabinet. Dirty personnel with men not shaved. Dirty clothes all around. So now I am done. My Social Security does not go up and they say there is no inflation. So of course I resent 20−30% price increases. Zero stars. Go DiGiorno.

Horrible experience couldn’t even order the pizza over the phone cause the stupid girl couldn’t take a credit card number. Left on hold for 5 min. Then I called back to say cancel order and u left me on hold way too long and the guy curses over the phone. No way to treat customers. Good luck eating at this place! ZEROSTARSAWARDED!

This was probably the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Not a fan at all. It’s very thick and oily and slices felt like we were eating a cup of oil with layer of chewy cheese. Also contained what seemed like dried parsley or basil? Completely flavorless. Would’ve been better if it was sprinkled with fresh basil.

Very good, from the pleasant young lady taking the order over the phone, to a quick hot Sicilian pie delivery loaded with toppings. Highly recommended . Best Sicilian in this area that is over the top with pizzerias.

Oily pizza is the worst. So oily the cheese just slides off the crust. Ordered pizza from here before and it was good. But to order a plain pie and it’s all oil? I will not be ordering again.

I’m not sure why this place has a 5 star review. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich from J&G once and it was a processed chicken patty. That spoke VOLUMES about their quality of food and I never ordered from there again.

My relatives and I in the area craved for some pizza. They told me about this place and discussed about their previous positive experiences. I went on the business’s Unilocal page to check out the posted reviews and the overall rating. Based on what I saw, we all had to try out this place! This place was located in a strip mall called Dorado Plaza. If you saw the sign for the strip mall, then you would know that this pizzeria was located in here. We walked inside. In one section was where the workers made the pizzas and processed orders while the customers made new orders and paid, and in another section was a medium-sized seating area with booths for those who wanted to stay and eat their pizzas. We utilized the seating area to wait for our pizza order to be fulfilled(as what other«to-go» customers did), and it was okay. There wasn’t a lot of decorations here, but what really mattered was the service and pizza. Just because there’s a reasonably sized seating area doesn’t mean there’s a waiter service. Everything had to be ordered and paid up front. The person who took our order had a pleasant attitude, and advised us that the pizza was hot after she called our name about our completed order. Our waiting time was 14 minutes, which was reasonable, but because we were occupied on our smartphones, it felt that our waiting time was shorter. But our pizza was really worth the wait! So here we go with the large extra cheese pizza. As soon as we got back, it was still hot and smelled good! I took a few bites. Based on the excellent taste, there was a lot of cheese on the pizza, and it didn’t drown out the flavor of the pizza sauce. Speaking of the sauce, it was tasty and wasn’t sweet or bland. The pizza crust wasn’t too thin or thick, which was fine. The outer-crusts of the pizza didn’t have any oil on it, which was good. This pizza pie overall was really enjoyable! Overall I was pleased with the quality of the pizza and the service that we received. The fact that this location was really close to where my relatives resided was a huge plus. If we wanted pizza, we wouldn’t have to fight NJ-70 or NJ-88 just to get here. I recommend this place to anyone in the area who’s craving for good pizza and fine service.

We were confined to this area for an hour or so while we were waiting to meet someone for a meeting. Figured we’d kill some time and grab lunch. Of course, where else would I go to look at what’s around but Unilocal! The majority of the places around were pizza joints. This one had 5 stars so I figured what the hell, we’ll give them a shot. As soon as I pulled up I knew this was an old school place. Just from the look of the sign and the interior. The inside reminded me of every old time pizza joint I had ever been in back in Bklyn. We stepped up to the counter and everything looked good. we couldn’t figure out what to get. When I’m not sure about a place, I stick with the basics. Got a plain slice and a Sicilian. we grabbed a couple of drinks and sat in a booth. By the way, Coke in a bottle!!! I don’t drink much soda any more, but who can resist cola in glass!!! They brought our order over. I almost fell out of the booth when I saw the size of the Sicilian! Probably 1 ½ times the size of any other I’ve had in Jersey. The plain slice was big too. I took a bite of the plain and that said it all! Perfect! Just the right amount of everything. The sauce is very good. Not too sweet. The Sicilian was smothered in cheese, but it didn’t drown out any of the flavor of the sauce. The crust was excellent. Crisp and light, just the right texture. You can see the traces of EVOO mixed in with the cheese. Not the orange grease you may be used to seeing on your pizza! Damn how I wish this place was closer to Freehold! The final icing on the cake was the owner who we spoke to briefly about the pizza and the shop. Very nice guy that you can tell takes pride in what he does. Can’t wait to go back and try some other items there!

Wasn’t a fan a few years ago but this past Thursday changed my mind. Hubby purchased 2 plain slices and 1 cheesesteak slice. Awesome. I had a grilled chicken wrap with lettuce and tomato. Yes, boring but stuffed with chicken. I added horseradish mustard and it was perfect. Also fried calamari was good, not great but better than other local places we have ordered from. Will definitely go back for pizza, considering I wouldn’t order pizza from there years ago.

I have been ordering from j&g for a few years now and the pizza is always excellent at home. If I am eating in I usually get a slice of cheesesteak and buffalo which are both the best of their kind anywhere. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. You will not find a better pizzeria around brick.

I’m giving a 5 for the pizza and everything else on the menu BUT the cheesesteaks. I saw another review that mentioned it was basically lacking and I must agree. Needed more meat, cheese, peppers and onions. Was kinda disappointed. however the grandma pie is awesome! I hate Sicilian bc it’s too thick so if you do too, try that one!

We have gotten pizza, wraps, subs and everything is always excellently done and tastes great, especially the Classico. They put such care into their food and it shows. They put garlic cloves. it’s so authentically Italian. 5 stars definitely!
