History
Established in 2012.
Three generations and over 100 years of experience combine to create the Hoity-Toity Peacock.
Hoity-Toity Peacock was opened so that we would have a place to display our creations. We also wanted to offer classes so that we could share our techniques and the joy of creativity.
Whether we teach you to paint your own piece or you decide to let us paint a piece for you, you are sure to be pleased with your Hoity-Toity Peacock experience. If you see a piece of furniture in our shop that is just your style, but not the color you had in mind, we will repaint it to your specifications. Unique designs, charming detail, beautiful finishes; that’s what Hoity-Toity Peacock is all about.
Old made new, custom painted for you!
Meet the Business Owner
Melody B.
Business Owner
As a young girl Melody joined her mother’s wall paper/painting business after school and on weekends. As she grew she exhibited God given talent and her artistic abilities spill over into her plastering and decorative finishes. She strives to create unique, one of a kind finishes for her clients. Melody takes great joy in teaching others and seeing her students create their own pieces in Hoity-Toity Peacock classes.
Beverly is Melody’s mom and started down her creative road by painting and wallpapering back in the day. With an excellent eye for design, she is able to assist clients with color selection and décor. Beverly also deals in antiques and collectibles and you will frequently see her finds at the Hoity-Toity Peacock.
Like her mother and grandmother, Meghan is artistic, creative and talented. She grew up surrounded by all the projects that were being done and just naturally learned various techniques. Meghan brings a fresh, young perspective to the creative process.
