I really needed this spa day. My girlfriends brought me here for a surprise birthday gift aaaaaand WOW this was thee best birthday present I’ve ever gotten!!! The spa is so clean and well kept. First I was treated to the most relaxing, soothing massage I have ever gotten followed by an awesome facial from Amanda. I don’t know what she did to my face but I’m still glowing!! and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my skin. I’ve found myself thanking my girlfriends repeatedly for such a thoughtful gift. I’m definitely going to hint to my husband for an early Christmas gift in the summer!!! Can’t wait to go back.

I took the significant other to get a surprised 80 minute pedicure. He needed his feet did after working an exhaustive gala the night before. It was surprisingly fantastic. I am not a fan of pedicures but they did a good job filing my nails without hurting my feet. Definitely felt pampered and relaxed.
Will definitely return. FYI, they are always offering deals of $ 85 for $ 100 gift cards. Take advantage of the offer before going into your appointment.

Had the most amazing massage and facial after a long work week. If it wasnt for my best friend taking me there, I would have never known it existed. So nice to have a place for relaxation close to home. Being that I’m a big germaphobe, I didnt feel one bit of discomfort, this place is spotless. I met the new director Raquel, she was kind enough to give me a tour and show me all of the wonderful amenities. Looking forward to having more spa days in my near future.

I have been going to this spa for years. It use to be Glen Ivy. They have made a great transition to The Spa at the Glen. The staff is very friendly and the massage is always great. I have joined their membership club, which is a great deal if you like having a massage on a regular basis. I would highly recommend this place.

Love this spa… Everything from the warm and friendly
staff to the tasty coffee are beyond perfect. I came here a few years ago and I do not recall the spa setting an impression on me, bad or good. Well… on this visit to the spa, it was a completely different feeling. I did not want to leave!!! The staff informed me the spa was taken under new ownership and I must say they have really stepped it up a few notches. The amenities were wonderful, and I had a beyond PERFECT massage with Fabiola. My only regret was not giving myself enough time to spend at the spa. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later.
This place is definitely a hidden gem.

I have been here a half dozen times or so over the last couple of years. I’ve had good massages and a few not so decent ones. The times I had a good massage, that same therapist was no longer there on my next visit. So I usually come in with low expectations because each therapist is very different. The men’s locker room is a little on the skimpy side, but that’s ok with me. I prefer a quality massage over the amenities. As far as today’s massage, I was blown away. Cassandra was perfect! She was very attentive and did exactly what I had asked. I didn’t give her much direction besides letting her know where my trouble spots are and she nailed it. It was the perfect balance between firm and hard. She asked me how the pressure was and it was literally perfect! I only pray that next time my wife brings me back, Cassandra is still here!

My mom and I finally got around to getting our massages from last years Mother’s Day! And the only disappointment is why didn’t we get here sooner! We absolutely loved it! Everything from our therapists to the whole facility is absolutely amazing! I had Mayra as my therapist and my mom had Ingrid and as my mom said «they have magical hands» I really have nothing bad to say about anything. The showers were clean, the jacuzzi was heavenly. The only thing we didn’t stay in was the steam room only because we’re a little claustrophobic, but the whole facility was clean and kept. Everything was fully stocked and we never had a problem finding someone if we had a question. I appreciate the quick tour they gave us in the beginning. We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back!

Yikes. I have been coming to this spa for over ten years (when it was Glen Ivy). I had been in once since new management took over but it was the first or second week. I came in last night with a couple family members to use the spa room and receive a 50 minute massage. Alright… Here’s my disclaimer– every person, every business, every place has bad days. Things can go wrong, businesses can be shortstaffed, the list of reasons for things going awry are endless. Even though I believe that to be true, the number of things that were in disarray yesterday led me to believe that the new management or staff that were working cannot create a spa environment that I would like to be a patron of.
–wet towels on the floor (many)
–only a couple clean towels left
–iced washcloths were unrolled and sloppy
–no clean hair brushes
–no toilet paper in 3 stalls
–no plastic cups for water
–shower drain did not work and I stood in water up to my ankles
–two naked women in the spa (apparently that’s allowed– didn’t know that)
–booked our massage while there was a $ 79 weekday special but were charged $ 100 because the special ended Friday, and our massage was Monday. We were not told this would be the case when we booked the massage. Front desk did not offer us to check in on Unilocal or honor the deal offered when we booked our massages.
The reason this is so frustrating is that the experience I had was hardly worth $ 79 and absolutely not ever in a million years worth $ 100. (With $ 85 gift certificate– $ 15 «spa credit» and tip it was $ 100 each.)
My massage was mediocre, the therapist used one hand on my back for a good amount of it, while sitting on a stool. She was polite and attentive but I did not leave feeling relaxed, refreshed or impressed.
I used to love this place!!! I usually go a few times a year but I will absolutely never go back.
I gave them two stars because I don’t want to ruin their reputation on Unilocal– I just really needed a place to share my experience with those of you looking for a clean, aesthetically pleasing spa atmosphere.

My best friend took me here for my birthday last Friday and I had a perfectly relaxing day!
I absolutely loved that robes were included during our visit — they were plush, purple, and super cozy. We hit up the steam room first, then the jacuzzi, then waited for about an hour in the quiet room before our massages. The iced tea is delicious, and the hot chai tea is amazing!
My massage therapist, Letty, was PERFECTION. I told her I threw out my lower back a month ago, and she asked me a few questions during my massage and worked the area carefully. She was also able to pinpoint exactly where my regular headaches were coming from, why I might be getting them, and recommended ways to help minimize them. I was extremely tense in my chest and shoulders, and she worked the areas out so good. I swear I was jello by the end, I felt so relaxed and limber! I will definitely book my future appointments with Letty, she was fantastic!
There are two reasons why I marked off a star…

First, there was gravel or something like it in the bottom of the jacuzzi… drove me crazy every time I went to walk.
Second, I think there should be a warning chime or signal BEFORE the steam room turns back on. We were scared half to death by the loud noise of it turning on, and my friend had to move quickly out of the way since the hot steam came spraying right at her legs and was burning hot. I know this has been mentioned in other reviews, and it would greatly enhance my future visits if I don’t practically pee myself in fright when it turns on.
Other than that, it was a really great experience. We didn’t end up ordering lunch from CPK, as their delivery menu to The Glen was very, very limited.
As a plus, I do think their member packages are reasonably priced and I like that it’s month to month and you don’t lose your service if you decide to skip a month. I’m seriously thinking about joining.

The reason this misses a star is the small fact that the bathroom toilets handles need to be held down in order to flush. Other than this, this place was just amazing. The staff Were helpful and sweet and answered all questions or concerns I had. The receptionist went above and beyond to find me a same day appointment and fit me in due to a cancellation.
I had the maternity/​prenatal massage 50 min for $ 100 with Rachel and I really recommend her to other soon to be mothers. Not only was she attentive and concentrated in trouble areas but she also was very sweet and warm. I forgot I was nude lol
I’m the women’s area, the showers are nice and they provide everything you need from body wash to hair ties and even a straightener. The relaxing quiet room was dimly lit and delightful with soothing music and magazines to read. Different types of hot teas or iced were offered with apples and oranges.
All in all, this place did not disappoint and I plan on coming back right before I move to New Mexico at the end of the month.

My husband booked an amazing package for me which included a massage, body polish, facial, lunch and then a mani pedi. I really enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of the facility, and my massage, polish and facial were amazing. I was feeling soooo relaxed!!! Then I got my mani pedi. And I was really, really, really underwhelmed. It’s bad ladies. It looks like my husband painted my nails. *sigh* At least the rest of my experience was good.
I would come back to the spa again but I will never get a mani pedi here. Ever.

I came here with my husband for my birthday and I really wish I had just gone to Glen Ivy Hot Springs instead. I’m guessing the change in ownership made things go downhill. Ok, here we go:
1) Came an hour early to decompress and use the spa and steam room. As I was in the spa, I looked up and was dismayed to see rust all over one of the vents. Come on guys, that just looks like you really don’t keep up on the maintenance. And in the steam room while waiting for the steam to come on, I was scared silly when it finally came on, it was so noisy!
2) Did our massages in the couples room. I’ve been going to the Brea one for about 10 years now and have been in the couples room before. I was so disappointed that the wall fountain was not working/​on. It took away from the relaxing ambiance I was looking forward to. Don’t know if it was broken, but a non-​working fountain gives the effect of a stale room.
3) The massage itself was lackluster and left much to be desired. It was ok. The thing that irritated me was that my therapist left the room for a few minutes to grab my scalp massage oil (note: upgrades which means extra $$). I really think for the price I paid for that 40 minute massage (yes 40, because they take off 10 minutes off the 50 to allow undressing/​dressing) I should receive every single minute. She should have gotten the oils when I was undressing. Plus, they didn’t get me right at my appointment time. She was five minutes late in picking me up. My appointment was at 1. But they made sure they stopped at 1:50 on the dot! So I paid $ 125 for a 50 minute massage, which in actuality was more like 30, when you take off 10 minutes to allow for dressing, minus the 5 minute late pick up + walking to the room, minus the several minutes it took her to get the scalp massage oil that she should have had ready to begin with. Anyway, the scalp massage was really lame.
4) the esthetician convinced me to get the Fire and Alice facial. I originally scheduled a Vitamin C. In her words, the Fire and Ice facial was great if I wanted to go somewhere and my skin would be «pow!» NOPE. I’ve gotten a REGULAR facial at the Hot Springs location and my skin was GLOWING. I was hoping to achieve the same result and didn’t get anything but burning skin and more redness. For more money. Yay. Her demeanor really wasn’t that soft and calm energy you would expect at a day spa either.
In conclusion, this place was not worth the money. I see it surviving if the prices were lower, but I have gotten better services at Massage Envy.

The Spa at the Glen is under new management, and no longer Glen Ivy — but don’t let that worry you.
The staff was very respectful, helpful and honored my happiness hour discount for the 80 minute massage.
My massage therapist was great and very passionate about her work. However, my only issue was the fact that my bed wouldn’t heat up when we got to the room. The time it took to change rooms took time out of my massage that I paid a good amount for.
Aside from that, everything inside is the same. You have the eucalyptus steam room that feels amazing, the hot tub, refreshing tea and coffee and a quiet room. I was happy they allowed me to come early and work on stuff here on my laptop in my robe. I was able to get California Pizza Kitchen delivered to me. So convenient!
I need to have more spa days! :)

I came in for a very needed massage, and Mayra was my therapist, she was a sweetheart and took amazing care of me, I can be rather picky but she has a great touch, tecnique, pressure. I felt amazing after wards! I’m definitely gonna see her again.

I booked an appt here for Valentine’s Day for my boyfriend and myself and we both LOVED the whole experience! We took advantage of the the happy hour special and it was so worth it. I got a facial and my face has never felt any more nourished and clean. All the other amenities were great. The price was really affordable and even though it was a bit of a drive for us, we wouldn’t mind coming back!

I love this place. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and excellent services. I enjoy their facial treatments and their massage treatments as well.

Came here on my birthday with my BFF! We both had the head to toe package. The facial was amazing!!! I bought two of the products used. I then had a soothing massage with a lavender foot scrub and fell asleep at how great it was!
Only giving 4 stars because the overall spa is small with not much other things to do. There is a steam room and jacuzzi. But nonetheless I enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.

Me and my girlfriend have been here 3 times now for the couples massage! It’s amazing every single time.
When you first check in you get a key, robe and slippers/​sandals to change into from there you have a few options depending on when your appointment is. I usually head into the eucalyptus steam room to mellow down or into the spa, which if your a guy at most there will be two people.
From there your onto your massage. Such a relaxing feel to it, from the sound of the water fountain to the warm massage table, everything is just super relaxing!
Great spa! I recommend to any couples trying to distress.

Went here for step one of my friend’s bachelorette party and had a blast! We were all able to get appointments around the same time and enjoy the amenities together. It was a wonderful experience, and our bachelorette loved it! We plan to return again soon :)

If you want the best experience of feeling like your a big shot this is the place to be at. Also everyone who works there is very nice to you and very helpful.

This my favorite Day spa in north Orange County.
The massage, skin care (e.g. Facials), and nail services are top rate. Include time in your day to use the ateam room and jacuzzi which is included in your cost of your service.

Always enjoy myself here. Clean environment and peaceful. Staff friendly and always helpful. Have had multiple massages and facials, and they are always good.

I’ve been to this location about half a dozen times. Each time I am completely satisfied with my visit.
I’ve done it all here — facials, massages, pedicures, body treatments — the services are always excellent and each therapist has a great attention to detail. I’ve found that my experience is wonderful from time of booking to time of checkout. Everyone is friendly, thoughtful and attentive. Come early to be sure you enjoy the hot tub and steam. I always leave here feeling pampered and renewed! Will be sure to return!

There is so much to say. but where to start?
The new owners have mad some subtle, yet noticeable changes from the artwork to some offerings, but mostt importantly the spa, in general, has returned to a fully service-​oriented location. The additional products in the lounges mazke it so I don’t have to continue to bring my own items to complete my day.
Previously, my requested Masseuse was Lisa (who unfortunately is no longer at the spa) but through many questions I was able to get Zoe for my appointment. She was willing to come in for one appointment prior to having to go to her other job. She was very friendly, great conversation, but most importantly very knowledgable and capable in what I was there for… getting a massage to relieve stress and give me a break from the constant level of pain I experience from head to toe. If Lisa were still around it wold have been a struggle to determine who provided me with the most relief, but since that isn’t so Zoe clearly takes the lead. Zoe is so good that I hereby crown her as the reigning Queen of Spa at the Glen. If the new owners let her go the way Lisa went it would be a great disservi ce to the spa and all of the guests.
This is a good combination of karma and fate, I had a great masseuse followed by some that just couldn’t provide me with the relief I needed. I have found yet another great provider just before I move out of state… literally leaving in 48hours. I will make a note of Zoe and be sure that she is available whenever I visit California for another great experience. The knots and pain are gone for the moment, but even as important is that I am relaxed and destressed after 6 weeks of packing and preparing to move out of California for the first time in my life.

Been here many times when it was Glen Ivy then again when it became the Glen. Loved it either way. Clean and all of the staff is nice, friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go again soon!

I was at this location getting a facial yesterday. My esthetician was great,
that wasn’t the problem. After the facial, the esthetician will write up a prescription of what products she used during the treatment. I was interested in several products by, Glotheraputics but found them to be extremely pricy so, I only bought 2 of the products that were recommended. When I got home, I started to do some research and found the SAME products I had just bought at, Spa at the Glen for half the price on Amazon. I felt buyers remorse after finding out that these products can be found for half the price on Amazon. DO NOT BUY the products here, they rack up their prices, yes their services are pricy but come on people, doubling the prices on products too? I will not be coming back for this reason. The 2 stars are for the esthetician who was great.

By far the best waxing experience I have ever had.
For the first time in 3 years today, I went somewhere else to have a bikini wax because it was closer to my place and cheaper. Well… I got what I paid for and I regret ever thinking that I could receive a similar experience as I receive at Spa at the Glen.
Amanda has been there for me at this location even through the ownership change and has never let me down. She is very conscious of what I prefer and we even catch up on our latest gossip. She has such a great spirit and she doesn’t ever make me feel nervous about my experience because, I’ll admit, I don’t like doing it from time to time. I never have problems with the outcome and I couldn’t ask for a better esthetician. Spa at the Glen has definitely spoiled me and I’m perfectly okay with that.
I will be going back to Spa at the Glen for my future visits. It is worth every penny.

I love coming here. I wish I could come here more often but it’s usually a nice treat after a long while of working and taking care of my son so it’s always worth it. This place is small, but it’s lovely in side, the atmosphere is always relaxing — I can spend hours here just hanging out in the solarium.
Every service/​message I’ve had here and every therapist I’ve had has always been so kind and does an absolutely fantastic job. My visits are far in between so I can never get the same therapist haha. My latest visit I had Dorina. She was exceptional and so sweet. She made my experience there that much better.
If you can find the time and money to treat yourself well this is great place to do it. I already want to go back.

If you are getting a massage book with Kit, he is the best! I got a 50 min. massage with Kit a few weeks ago. The woman at the front desk recommended him. I usually book with a female but since there was not one available I booked with Kit and i’m so glad I did!
I have back and hip problems from an old soccer injury which has had me in and out of chiropractor offices for years. I have found massage helps me manage my pain best. Kit is so effective because he uses his hands and thumbs to massage, not elbows and forearms. The work he did on my shoulders, neck and lower back noticeably changed the tension I was feeling. During the massage he could tell which of my muscles were sore and where I was holding most of my stress. He even aided me in some light stretching to release tightness I was having in my quads.
I had such a wonderful experience with Kit the first time that I went back and got a 80 min. massage today. It was just as amazing as the first! I would recommend Kit to anyone who is looking to relieve stress, promote relaxation and eliminate tension.

A friend generously purchased gift cards for myself and my sister so we decided to get mani/pedi’s. This was my first spa experience, and I will say the place was very clean and the staff were friendly but the good stops there. I got the ‘shellac’ mani and standard pedicure. Shellac is their version of gel so I went in thinking the polish would last longer than normal. The technician even bragged that the other girls there ask her to do their nails because they last for weeks. 4 days later and my polish just peeled right off! I have my own gel system at home and this has never happened to me.
The pedi was nothing special. My sister got the more expensive pedi and she looked like she was in heaven. Her tech was so much nicer than mine, she even brought me a warm towel for my neck when my package didn’t include it. My tech was just middle of the rode, there to do a job, just in and out.
I feel so bad that my friend spent so much on me and I could have gotten a better mani/​pedi at a regular nail salon for $ 50, not $ 130 I spent at the Spa. I still have $ 20 left on the card that won’t be used anytime soon!

Just had my sister’s bachelorette spa day there this past weekend and everything was great! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the spa was very clean, we all enjoyed the amenities, and everyone enjoyed their massage. They even gave us complimentary services with our massages too! I also want to say that Stephanie gave me the best massage I’ve ever had! She’s great with her hands and healed my sore back! I definitely plan on coming back to her. If anyone is thinking of throwing a bridal party or just a relaxing day with the girls, this place is great! Thanks for the perfect bachelorette spa day!

I’ve been to this spa twice — once when it was Glen Ivy and about a week ago under the new management.
All amenities are the same — we had great service, the spa was very clean and my massage was amazing. I had Dani (I think that was her name). Great massage with firm pressure and I felt amazing the next day. She even sent me a thank you note — I was very impressed!
Only thing I don’t care for at the spa is the changing area is right when you walk in to the ladies spa area… so it seemed like there was quite a bit of traffic whenever i was changing.

I’ve been here before when it was glen ivy and had a massage, it was nothing short of amazing. I came back last week to have a spa day with a girlfriend of mine. We planned on hanging out around the spa, sauna and enjoying a pedicure. 50 $ is a pretty expensive pedicure if you ask me, BUT I knew this going in. The front was nice, the spa itself was clean (as it always has been) it wasn’t too crowded and the people were friendly. So we go into our appointment … Can I say I have never been so dang upset about a pedicure? WHO GETS UPSET ABOUT A PEDICURE?
First off… The lady was sluggish… And taking my nail polish off was almost like a chore it seemed like. She didn’t scrub my feet, AT ALL. Then when it came down to painting my nails… I was about ready to lose my mind. Some people know what I’m talking about when you ask a man who has never painted a finger nail in his life… They paint side ways instead of straight down; this was totally my experience. I was so embarrassed. I had missing polish on the nail and then chunky layers on the others. I’ve never been so mad about my toes looking so haggard. My friend also had a cruddy experience with hers. Her nails were not filed down right, they were completely sideways and polish was half a$$ed. I’m not one to complain this bad but it was terrible. I would NEVER return for a pedicure. I’m giving 2 stars for the facility itself because it was so clean and nice.
DO NOT GET A PEDICURE HERE WHATEVER YOU DO.

Had my first massage here at «Glen Ivy’s» Spa at the Glen. I usually have a therapist work on me privately but heard great things about this company.
As you check in they set you up with a locker and a robe. You change and take a few minutes to relax before your session. There are multiple stations with complimentary water, tea, and coffees.
I had a really nice therapist named Rachel. she was AWESOME. She was very attentive to my needs of stress relief and I have a very sensitive reaction in my legs that she kept in mind. She also used hot stones along with my massage with the perfect amount of pressure to meet me request. She was wonderful.
Loved my experience and my therapist! Thank you Rachel!
