Jade did an amazing job on my hair. I have not had a cut that I have loved or even really liked in a really long time. Jade is very knowledgeable in regards to hair. I have crazy, frizzy, dry hair. She gave it a great cut and recommended the right products for my hair and scalp. I will be making the drive to Brea to get my hair cut by Jade from now on. Thank you Jade!!!

Hey girls. Walked in today and got serviced by Letty. Letty is a nice lady but didn’t have prices set and just scrambled to get me a number so that was a little weird to begin with. Second thing that was off, she shampoos and conditioned my hair and leaves me their to let the conditioner sit and comes back with hair dye to fix the awful highlights so I start panicking. Then she sends me off to this random guy that by looking at him he obviously did not work there (probably her husband) and she walked away and left him to blow dry my hair. He starts chatting and chatting away almost as if he was distracting me from the hair mistakes. By this time I was exhausted and just wanted to go home. But even though my hair was extremely blowed dried, he continued to blow dry my hair even more making it puffy. I finally said «okay Its done, Thank you». He replies, «okay you can go back to Letty I’ll shut up now» with an angry look on his face. And so I go back to Letty and she says «what are you doing here? What do you need to do» I said «I don’t know what’s happening, he sent me here» she scrambled for her scissors and said «oh okay!» And started grabbing chunks of hair and started cutting away. I had to tell her I had to leave. Since my hair was already blonde and just needed to get toned, it turned out fine. I can imagine if it wasn’t. Yikes. Last time I go there. Total price: $ 165 and at the end of the session it went up to $ 170. Go figure. This included: cut $ 50, root touch up $ 25, color $ 90.

Such an incredible experience! How does Daniela not have more people gushing about her skills? I came in today for a cut and color and Daniela bleached the black out of my hair and dyed it a beautiful brown and cut and styled it! I couldn’t be any happier! And she did two treatments after the coloring to protect my hair after bleaching and it’s softer than it was when I went in! I couldn’t be any happier!

I have been getting my nails done with Jennifer for a while now and she never disappoints! She takes her time and is awesome at what she does! I see Andrea Limón for my hair and she always does an amazing job! These are my go-​to ladies

This review is for Cindy Diep, who is AWESOME! She is a super friendly, sweet person with a bubbly personality. I have entrusted her with the life of my hair and its color in her hands about 8 years now. I’ve had short styles before, which grows out well.
Styles I’ve had range from:
— tri-​color streaks: red, blonde, black,
— blackish hair with red streaks,
— red with black streaks
— red with blonde streaks
— back to super dark brown over red hair (which turned into black to red ombré)
— just blonde streaks
— ombré with red to blonde
— various versions of full red colors (no bleaching before the reds, ever)
I don’t dye my hair often. Although I will go for 4 – 6 months or so without refreshing the color, I would get compliments year-​round for how my hair color looks… from fresh to faded… someone loves my hair! Why? Because of Cindy’s awesome work!
She’s also been working on her make-​up skills and is available for weddings!

Let’s say each star literally for the good things that he did. One for the amazing colour I ended up havin’. And the other, was for his great attitudes and friendliness. And that was it!
One missing star for the extra $ 20 (in addition to $ 49 Groupon) that he charged for thicker and longer hair like everybody else blah blah blah!
Now, the other two missing stars; for the awful mediocre hair cut that he performed.
5 months it’s been, and I have to keep growing my hair so I could finally get rid off the uneven chop here chop there style he left me with.

BRIZA!!! Is a hair god !!! She honestly exceeded my expectations. She went above and beyond, my hair has NEVER looked so good. I am so grateful that I found her, I can honestly say i won’t go to anyone else ever again. She’s a true artist and her assistant Trevor is very efficient. Love love love ! Love love love the way my balayage came out! After looking through all the beautiful pictures of Briza’s work on instagram, I knew I could trust her with my hair.
You can tell the difference between a good/​bad balayage based on how well blended the highlights are. Briza’s work is absolutely flawless. It’s been over a week since I had my hair done and I’m still very impressed by the way my hair was colored.
I was a bit nervous having this process done since it takes over 3 hours, but both Briza and her assistant Trevor (ig: trevorwayne_​) were quick, efficient, and fun to hangout with.
Briza’s clearly a hardworking artist that understands her craft. I’d text her asap for an appointment as her times fill up quickly!

Had my first appt with Briza and she did such a great job! I had scheduled the appointment with a very vague idea of what I wanted and Briza did amazing work. She trimmed my hair and gave me cute bangs! I wanted something reddish but was apprehensive due to my tanner skin tone. She recommended a beautiful dark red/​wine color on me and I love it! Will definitely be going back.

I think that somewhat says a lot :) hehe

I purchased a groupon and booked an appt. with Mike Mejia for a haircut and partial highlights. Contrary to other reviews, I had no trouble scheduling an appointment on my day off.
The consultation was quick and he advised I add a root touch up for my stubborn grays at an additional cost. So glad he did because I love my new look! Exactly what I needed. Thanks Mike!

Briza is amazing! I’ve been seeing her monthly for the last 3 months. She’s done a complete color correction on the mess that I showed up with lol. My hair was completely fried and broken and she took it on completely confident that she can fix it! And boy has she fixed it! :) I’m so happy with the results, my hair is in better condition even with the monthly balayage and color stripping, she uses the best products out there and is super professional! She explains each and every step of her hair magic process which of course makes her clients confident in what she’s doing for them. I’ve recommended her to my mom and she was very happy with her results also. She is a total balayage/​color correction expert, very highly recommended!

I loveloveLOVE Cindy D! She makes my head f_​cking cute! :) Big, big ups to my fellow Unilocaler Mee for inspiring me with her hot head of color by Cindy. Otherwise I would’ve stayed a boring blonde.
I had come across Mee’s photo transformation from a hot red head to a beautiful mermaid with hair the color of cotton candy pastels and decided that exact moment I would make another change for the summer months. I originally discussed changing my hair from its atrocious blonde-​ish color to Rihanna’s American Oxygen black grey color. Unfortunately, the morning of, Cindy texted me with the bad news: no grey. It seems it is the new trending color and the salon had been out for weeks and would be for more to come. I didn’t want to lose my appointment with Cindy cos I couldn’t bare to wear my beanie and hide my head anymore in this warm weather. So, I went with my first option I was too afraid to ask for: black, purple, white ombré/​balayage.
I had seen a photo of a dress that was my inspiration for my hair color and Cindy, with her artistic imagination and made it happen, baaby! I am in love with my hair and have had so many compliments since leaving Cindy’s chair. I can’t wait till my next appointment with her and our next color adventure.

Looking at it from the outside you would assume this was another Mariella beauty school, but they saved their glitz and glamour for the inside.
I walked in in awe and a bit dazed and confused?
A deli/​food court? A fountain? The walls and the themed seemed to mimic a ethereal feeling, it’s as if your with the Zeus himself… getting a haircut!
I was there actually getting my nails did by Karen McDonald. And she was a hoot and a half! She was quick and professional, she’s been doing nails for over 20 years and she’s just such a nice lady!

I saw Thomas with a Groupon. He has a lot of years experience. Easy to talk to, very professional. I was doing a donation cut for cancer patients. Highly recommend Thomas.
There’s a nail parlor and a mini bar there that sells drinks (non alcoholic) and maybe some snacks.
