I notice I am the only man putting a review on here, but I don’t care!
My wife and I first went to StephenMichael’s a couple of years ago, when they were having a cut-​a-​thon for the American Cancer Society, and after one cut I was hooked!
Not only do I love the proximity, as they are right down the street from where we live, but everyone is so friendly and genuinely pleasant. You are greeting on a first name basis when you enter, and being a professional dog walker, I always get love from Sasha and Spike, the two furry residents :)

Steven A. the owner of Steven Michael’s Salon is someone I’ve been using for years now. He’s the very BEST at haircuts & color that I’ve ever known. He’s always been very accommodating and considerate with his clients, even working us in with his tight schedule if needed.
Steven & Michael are also about giving back to their community, with cut-​a-​thons to support the American Cancer Society (among other things) plus always providing an assortment of gifts contributed & collected from salon clients at holiday time.
I can’t recommend Steven & his staff enough when it comes to hair care and caring or others.

I read the Unilocal review and decided to try Stevenmichaels out. Iiterally live less than ½ mile away. The location was definitely a plus! I called and booked an appt with Lexi. She was very knowledgeable and discussed everything with me. The salon was not pretentious at all and had a very laidback, relaxed feel. This was a plus for me and I loved how everyone was so friendly! Lexi did a great job on my hair and I loved the way it turned out. Thanks Lexi!

I’ve been going to Steven Michael’s salon for 8+ years. The salon is clean and comfortable. Everyone that works there are friendly and do fantastic cuts/​colors. I’ve been going to Steven for the past 8+ years and LOVE him… always entertaining and really styles to your face. I let him do whatever he wants and always look great. You’ll likely need an appointment because they are all in high demand!
My son and husband also see Steven. My husband got a facial last week which he loved because it was so relaxing and his skin looks amazing!

Have not yet had my hair done here, BUT If you want amazingly healthy and glowing skin at a fair price, go to Kim, the esthetician at this salon! She is so sweet and very knowledgable about what to do to take care of your skin. She has perfect skin, too (of course!) She gave me excellent service, and even upgraded my chemical peel free of charge! She also gave me a ton of great product samples to try out. She is also a stylist and does waxing here. So excited to be going in for a facial with her tomorrow! =)

LOVE! I went in on a Thursday and Sebastian was the only one working. I came in specifically to cut my long hair to a short, assymetrical bob, and I got everything I wanted in a hair cut. He was very knowledgeable in addressing my needs and concerns about what kind of haircut would suit me best and how I could potentially style my hair. When I walked in, since there was only one person working, I had to wait a little bit which was no problem since there were snacks and coffee and teas that were completely available to waiting customers.
The price was $ 45 for everything, but whereas at Supercuts they charge for everything al la carte, the $ 45 includes wash, cut, and style, so the price basically evens out. I will be going back in a few weeks for a trim. Definitely worth it.

Was recommended by a friend to get my hair cut here. I was set up w stylist, Sebastian. He was great through and through. As soon as I got there he had a very chill vibe, offered me a drink, seemed genuine when asking about my daily stylings and what I wanted. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. He ended up styling my hair so nice — he made it straight! I have quite wavy/​curly hair and have only seen it blowed dried. So that was such a treat to have a new look. As I paid for my services, he offered me samples of the product he used and gave me tips on how to manage my locks. Great place to go if you want to be pampered and given full attention!

Just had the best haircut at this salon with one of their stylists… Sebastion. He listened to what I wanted and delivered. Truly the best stylist I have ever been to… and he is interesting and fun to boot. Check him out!

I have been getting my hair done by Nickie for years. I am thrilled that she moved to StevenMichael’s Salon. The atmosphere is great and super friendly. I always feel welcome when I go there. I have seen Nickie cut, color, and style women’s hair and have experienced a men’s cut and color. I recommend her and this salon to anyone and everyone.
A definite A++

I started coming here for two reasons:
1. My old hairdresser did not give a damn about his clients or me. If I asked for how much an extra service such as color or a special event hair style he would hem and haw about not wanting to do it. When I did have a special event, I made the appointment and walked in to have someone else do it and they did a crappy job!
2. They were recommended to me by a good friend who has awesome hair and she told me that she worked there as a receptionist.
Anything they recommend is awesome. I get my hair cut and colored here. Whether it is to lchange up my color or cut my hair differently, I have always left with happiness. They are not stuffy or overly pretentious and its fun.

I love these guys! I’ve been going to Steven and Michael each for many years and I don’t trust anyone more with my hair. They really do amazing work with all the cuts and styles that they’ve gotten published in a bunch hair magazines and books. I usually go to Steven to get my hair done and I trust him to do anything he thinks will look good and he never fails me. The styles they do are very upscale and really should be way more expensive than they charge but they have flexibility because they own the salon. Every holiday, they decorate and they do Relay for Life every year too. It’s the most relxing, happy environment. I would recommend these guys to anyone I know without any hesitation!
