Kumon Math and Reading Center of Brea – Jr. High Park

Enrolled my 3 year old daughter in Kumon hearing great things about it from a few of my friends.
At first everything seemed to be going smooth.
My daughter was enjoying it and learning fast.
But as the work got a little harder my daughter was getting a little more challenging to stay focus
If you know anything about kumon they really don’t do much
They are not teachers or professionals but they are there to answer questions and help
But at ages 3 – 4 they usually will need someone to sit with them and walk them through it
I took my daughter to kumon two days a week and the rest of the work I sat and did myself with her at home
Back to my point as the work got more challenging the guy that can barely speak English properly started complaining about my daughter
Told me he had limitations
I offered to do work with her on my own
He said no she has to come in
Ok that’s fine I told him, I understand
I will find someone else or another place that has more limitations and time to help my daughter through a school work book for 30 mins twice a week
After our month was paid and finished with him I didn’t take her back and he wants to charge me for a month she never went to his garbage kumon center
If this is what kumon is about I don’t need to waste my time or money
Very disappointed
I will be taking this up with corporate
I don’t recommend this kumon in brea
Go somewhere else!!!
