All Made Up Team – Make-Up Artist

I know a couple of people who had their makeup done by All Made Up Team, and their makeup and hair looked amazing, so I convinced my sister to book them for her wedding.
Hair and makeup were both done by Angelina. Although our makeup looked amazing, it didn’t stay on for long at all. For me, I personally put on primer every day and my makeup would stay on for over 8 hours. I was disappointed that Angelina did not do that for us. She did not treat nor prep our makeup such as put on moisturizer (my sister and I have dry skin) and primer. My mother had raccoon eyes after an hour! :(My hair did not stay curled all day either. I asked Angeline to re-​curl my hair again after 30 minutes she did my hair. She put a great amount of hairspray too, and I was hoping that the hairspray would help, but it didn’t. To summarize, she was not listening to what we wanted. My sister and I both have blunt bangs cut across our face, and she was insistent on having our bangs swept to the side. Angelina also told my sister at the trial to grow out her bangs for her wedding so it would look better to have longer bangs on the side. Well, my sister’s bangs hadn’t really grown since then, so on her wedding day, Angelina decided to give it a trim and style it in vthe way she wanted! I wanted an updo and she told me to have my hair down instead because she didn’t want my hair to look similar to my sisters. So she curled my hair and pinned it down and to one side. I liked it enough, but I felt that my hair was pretty typical. It was really nothing special. Given that their rates are on the expensive side, it was quite disappointing and the experience was not worth it.

In one line– I would request specific individuals.
Uyen is the most unprofessional make up artist I have ever met. Not only was she a bad listener, she didn’t know how to do different styles of make up. No one’s make up looked natural nor was anyone satisfied. Luckily, the bride had the older make up artist. Although she was good at what she did, she lacked personality. Basically, she did the job, but never smiled.
On the other hand, Katie was a phenomenal hairstylist. She was open to our concerns (they were running out of time, I had to do my own make up for the wedding), and kept calm and at LEAST tried to be helpful. Not to mention she did an awesome on job on the girl’s hair.
If I were to ever book with All Made Up, I would only request for Katie and the older lady she worked with.

I had my make up trial with Angelina. It was my second make up trial I went to. the first one was good but it’s too natural for me. I want a little more oomph. i would characterize All made up team to be more glam than natural style — although I am sure they can do the natural looks. my trial went well. it wasn’t cheap $ 150 for i think 2 hours. the problem with the trial is she has not enough time to do 2 different hair styles on me. she just bunched up my hair to show what it will look like. which since it is my second make up trial i was fine. the make up n hair looks great. i went out during the day to run errands and people are stopping me to say how great i look and ask me if i am going to any special event :)
a couple weeks before my wedding, i started reading review online about how angelina is late to the wedding (see below) and just mishaps on the wedding day which makes me really really nervous. i told my planner to address this and ensure that they have enough people to cover me and 5 other ladies in my family/​bridal party. at first they want to give me 3 stylist to work on us and finally after voicing our concern, they sent 4 people. our make up went from 9am to 1.30pm for the 6 people and it was just enough time. i really think that addressing this issue makes them realize that they need to not be late/​screw up my wedding day and they were on top of things for my wedding day.
my wedding day make up n hair were amazing… it is even better than my make up trial. even my bridesmaid who didn’t have her make up done because she had a bad make up applied to her on another wedding, told me she wishes she had her make up done by angelina. I had a hair change and make up touch too done on the evening and Angelina definitely went beyond her calls of duty. she came on time. changed up my hair. when i wanted more volume on the top, she insisted to redo my whole hair to get the volume that i wanted. angelina is quick and great and i was really happy with the second hair change too…
a quick note will just be that i feel like the other hair sytlist is not as good as angelina. i guess that might be common in this kind of make up team type. overall i am really really pleased with all made up team. i definitely understand the concern other brides will have about this timng and should definitely ask vivian, the owner to address it.

come wedding day… angelina and alice came to help us out. they were two hours late… traffic they said… i should have allowed for more time and made them come earlier. i agree with the other reviews, you need to make sure they are there WAAYY in advance and plan your timeline to allow for these problems…
and my makeup and hair… it was good but it looked better on the trial day, they needed more time on it… my mother was asking for adjustments with her makeup, and angelina didn’t seem to listen to her requests, i helped my mother fix it to how she liked it afterwards… alice on the other hand made the other members of our bridal party look perfect.
we barely made it to the wedding and the ceremony started almost 30 minutes later than we had planned… and there was lost time for taking video and additional pictures…
i liked them so much to start with… but who can give back the lost time.

I went to get a test run for my wedding day and I looked horrible! i dont wear makeup on most occassions but being it was my wedding… I tried it out. My makeup was completely caked on… my hair was super hairsprayed. I looked plastic and TYPICAL. Maybe it was just me… cuz the pix I saw from all made up was really nice… unfortunately. i didn’t look like any of the pix and i wanted a more natural look. Found someone that does makeup for E! News and loved that makeup artist.
