Castle of Chaos

As part of my ‘All Access Pass’ that I purchased at the Hollywood Wax Museum, I was able to go to Castle of Chaos and Hannah’s Mirror Maze.
Hannah’s Mirror Maze was a neat idea, and was well executed, but it was very short. We were through the maze in less than 2 minutes. Even if it had been twice as long, it would have still felt short.
The Castle Of Chaos brags to be a 3D Thrill Ride but I found it to be quite lame. If this were 15 years ago, I could see having had my mind blown, but the 3D effects are so outdated that it is just plain ugly. The interactivity with the shooting is pointless. It is supposed to take your picture and then display the pictures at the end based on who got the best score, but the camera was broken and displayed nothing. My gun didn’t work either so I know I was not the winner. The ride was also very short, lasting just a few minutes. The child in front of us was absolutely terrified, so keep that in mind if your kid scares easily.
The only reason I am not rating this a 1 star is that I didn’t pay for it separately. If I had traveled out of my way and paid for this separately, I wouldn’t have been a happy camper.

The kids were scared from the ride. They screamed the whole time, so it probably made it more exciting for people waiting outside. We did a all four attractions pass so it wasn’t a lot of money but it is a short activity.

We only tried this out as part of a package deal. The best part of the experience was the funny staff. If we had only bought tickets to this, we would have been disappointed. It was just so-​so.

I can see why people think this is a waste of money. It was pretty quick but it was fun to me. I bought a bundle deal so i saved a lot of money but if you were to just pay for that you would have over payed. Just make sure you get the bundle deal

This is literally the biggest WASTE OF MONEY I can recently remember. First of all it is way too expensive for what it is. The ride is jerky, the 3D graphics were crap, the fog smelled just awful, you have guns that do not shoot or if they do you are not hitting anything. Also it maybe lasted 5 minutes. The four-​year-​old behind us loved it, but everyone one else when we were done talked about how that was the most awful thing ever.
It was funny too, because the person you bought tickets from when you entered was gone as we were leaving. My guess is that they had been there long enough to know to disappear once the ride was over. I imagine they get asked for a lot of refunds.
I am suprised this thing has stayed open so long. If I had to venture a guess it is the steady stream of tourists that do not know any better that keeps them in business.
Save your money. There are too many tourist traps to blow your money on in Branson, than this POS.

We were so disappointed by this attraction. Had great potential but did not live up to the hype. For some reason, we couldn’t see a lot of the 3D images and there was no effect when shooting at things. It was way to short but they could have made it longer by giving a little history of the story. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Wow! What a waste of money. This was 8 minutes I would like to have back. Graphics were mediocre at best and the «game» was boring.

If I could rate this zero stars I would!!! My husband and I ran across the ad for this place in a visitor’s guide when we were looking for something to do. It sounded awesome from the article so we immediately drove over there. Terrible idea, terrible «ride»! All it does is spin in place, the 3D effects are crap, you don’t know what you’re shooting at or if you’re hitting anything, one of the smoke effects smells like vomit… and it lingers in your nose the rest of the night… total waste of money. This attraction is said to be one of a kind and state of the art… I could set up a spinny chair in front of my tv with a 3d movie going, and spin myself until I was sick, and still have a better experience than I had at the Castle of Chaos! Don’t be fooled, they have an amazing marketing team!

Better than the wax museum next door, but still not worth the money. Some slight thrills in the ride and, to its extreme benefit, there are zombies. The shooting is a bit lame, but the effects are really pretty cool. Not bad overall… but nothing incredible here.
