We are a family owned real pizzeria featuring brick oven baked pizzas and subs made with our own homemade dough, sauce, fresh sliced cheese and fresh indgredients, A large selection of appetizers, pastas and gourmet salads all made fresh to order. A selection of soft drinks, draught and bottled beers, and wines. We feature dine in, carry out and delivery.

History

Established in 1992.

The Chef was first opened in 1992 as «Pizza Chef», the trademarked name was changed to Pizza By The Chef several years ago. In the same location all those years, Owned by Morris Family Investments, LLC, since 2005, Sally and Gary Morris continue the tradition of this great family owned pizzeria.

There’s not a lot I love as much as I love pizza… and this place knows how to do pizza! The staff is super nice and the owner is often there working alongside them. I refer every pizza-​lover I meet to Pizza By The Chef!

Had a weekend at the lake with friends and got Pizza By the Chef for takeout. It was delicious. We had a very diverse group of friends and it had something for everyone from the salads, subs and pizzas, everyone got something they liked and aligned with their food preferences (i.e. flextarian in the group even enjoyed it).

This place was phenomenal! Having lived in Italy (Bella Napoli to be exact) I am always suspicious of «authentic» pizza. This really is the best pizza in Branson. Great prices, great wines (try the Nero D’avola) and great, fresh pasta.
We visit Branson from Florida once a year and I am looking forward to eating here again next year. Glad they are not on the strip with all of the craziness and tourists.
Do not let the location deter you, (shopping center) I promise it is worth it. We had a great dinner without any wait time but we had a late dinner. The staff was friendly (a little unpolished, but good service and very helpful). In a word, a great way to end a long day of tourist trekking. :)
