This is a great local non-chain restaurant! Went with family and had 8 people total. They handled our larger group extremely well as we were never waiting on drinks. With each beer we ordered it came in a frozen mug, this place has the coldest beer in branson! Now to the food. This is a CHICAGOSTYLEPIZZAPLACE, and after reading some other reviews feel the need to clear up what that means. Chicago style pizza is not a thick, puffy crust. which is apparently what some people were expecting. Chicago style pizza is upside down pizza with red sauce on top and boy did they get this right. Can definitely see why this place was voted best pizza in branson as it was one of the best pizza’s i have every tasted in my life. So happy that we found this place and will be back every time we visit branson!!!

Seriously, just not good. It’s NOT Chicago style pizza — it’s thin, crispy crust pizza in a deep dish. The pizzas are overcooked, the toppings don’t taste fresh. The service is just ok, but that’s seems to be less the fault of the waitstaff, and more a problem of understaffing. The restaurant was very busy, and the pizza did take a while. As we were leaving, I stopped in the restroom past the kitchen, and the whole kitchen seemed smoky. Yuck.

We came to Branson from Oklahoma for the weekend. My son wanted pizza so we searched the Internet for our options. We usually try to find local owned restaurants when we travel. Because of that Pizza Hut and the like were definitely out. We came across Mr G’s and decided try it. We went away fairly disappointed. The pizza was just mediocre and was advertised as «deep dish» but the crust was only about a quarter of an inch thick. The pizza was baked in a deep dish type pan and had a high crust around the outer edge but the crust itself was NOT thick or bread like as in the deep dish I’m used to. We ordered the MR G’s favorite and it was relatively bland tasting. There were not enough vegetables to even taste the pepper, onions or mushrooms. Mostly it was pepperoni, cheese, sauce and crust. The crust was overdone and very dark to almost burned on the edges. We also ordered the«Tony Orlando» salad and that was good. I would not recommend and unfortunately I would have gotten better pizza at Pizza Hut or Old Chicago.

We had the famous Mr. G’s pizza and the bacon chicken ranch pizza and they were both disgusting! Trust me, we aren’t that picky and will usually eat anything but this was just not good at all! And it’s not even thick crust. Once you take off all the nasty canned toppings, it’s thin crust pizza that is over cooked! We should have known better once we realized we were eating frozen ravioli for an appetizer! Not sure how this place has received such high ratings???

Wings were good. Would not suggest the thin crust pizza. Italian Beef was great. Service was great for a very busy night.

Great pizza and excellent service without the hassle of parking and walking in The Landing. It was a hidden gem that appeared recently renovated.

The beer and wine selections are fabulous and the PIZZA is FANTASTIC! Love the crust, the topics are delicious. Their salads are fresh and crisp. It doesn’t get better than this!

Pizza is alway good if the chef can get the order right. And it’s never good to hear cussing from the kitchen. Don’t be in a hurry when dining here it takes forever…

OHMY! Thank you Cheeky Craig for recommending this place. In Downtown Branson the best Pizza Ever. In Fact we went another place similar in name but not as good. Service was awesome the thinner crust pan pizza was the best ever. The beer was SUPER cold in a FROSTED mug. Cold Beer Awesome Pizza and Service need i say more. Thank you for being my other Oasis in Branson.

Enjoyed my antipasto salad very much. The crab rolls were a great appetizer too even though they came so quickly I’m sure they were prepared ahead of time. My husband did not care for the ranch on his salad, he likes his homemade, it’s so easy to make it fresh, why would you not do that? We liked the atmosphere of this place though, we would come back for sure.

Well not all that impressed with the pizza. It’s only average. Our first pizza was burnt and they had to make us a new one. It was 45 min of waiting on food and it was not fun when you you have a hungry 7 year old. Also we should have said something but didn’t about the crab rolls being cold in the middle. They would have been good if they had been cooked.

Just not very good pizza. Little ceasers deep dish has thicker crust. We were expecting legitimate deep dish. This is not it. Pizza was blah with burnt crust. We thought the crab rolls would be good. Itty bitty tiny tiny rolls. Smaller than tostinos pizza roles and filled with cream cheese. Crab Rangoon basically. Boring. Really disappointed after reading the reviews here. Will never go back.

Our visit to Mr. G’s Pizza was a great experience. The deep dish pizza was excellent and in comparison, different from any other pan pizza we have had. We ordered the Mr. G’s special. The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh and tasty. They had craft beers on tap for only $ 3. The service was friendly and speedy. Our bill for a large pan pizza and 5 drinks totaled only $ 36. I’d definitely recommend this fun establishment over a chain restaurant.

Clean and fresh updated look at this long time Branson pizza pub. The Tony Orlando salad was delicious and huge. The Italian Beef sandwich was great too! Cold beer and good service. We’re local so we’ll be back!
