Great wraps, come with pretty good fries too. Don’t prefer their pizza but it’s not bad.

The pizza was nothing special but the garlic knots where great. The delivery took forever, they said 30 – 40 minutes and hour later they arrived.

Rude order taker. Order carelessness. No willingness to make right. Friendly delivery guy. Inconsistent food quality. Two Stars.

Pretty decent pizza. They were the only people that delivered in our area so we gave them a shot and quickly became repeat customers. Nothing spectacular but good enough for those lazy nights when there’s nothing to eat and something good on tv. They even delivered during this year’s blizzards.

I’ve ordered delivery numerous times and have always been satisfied. Their service has always been fast(even during high volume times like Super Bowl Sunday). The food itself has been satisfying and the selection is diverse. Pizza, calzone, ravioli, mediterranen sandwiches. They’ve done a great job when I’ve been hungry.

Delivery was delayed and the food was barely warm and mediocre at best… do the other options on the street.

Not the best but also not the worst, avoid the calzones at all costs they are very light on both cheeses which makes it flat because, well calzones are basically all cheese. The pizza is pretty good, you can tell they use cheaper cheese because of how oily it is but as far as delivery it is one of the better ones in town. Delivery time is good even on busy friday nights they usually arrive in 35 – 45 minutes and I live about 6 min away from the shop.

We order here all the time, mostly because it’s convenient and they deliver. It’s decent all-around, not amazing but it’ll do. There are a few other places that I think have better pizza, but I like Honeyspot best for places that deliver. They consistently hit their delivery estimate, which is always 30 – 40 minutes. The few times we’ve picked up an order on the way home from work and had it piping hot would warrant a 4 star rating but that’s not what we usually do so I’ll stick with 3 for delivery.

So I decided to order from Honey Spot this evening. I ordered a veggie grinder and carrot cake. I was told that it would take 40 minutes for the food to be delivered. It was actually delivered much sooner than that. When the delivery came, he charged me a roughly $ 3.00 more then what was supposed to be charges. I just paid it and sent the driver on his way. When I got the order, I noticed that it was the wrong thing. I called them back to inform them of the mistake. The guy that answered the phone had a little bit of an attitude and said he will send someone back. When the other person came with my food, they wanted the other order back, did not give me any money back for the overcharge and had an attitude. When I opened the new order of course it was not correct. I just decided to give up and will not order from there again.

I made the mistake of ordering from here, as neither the wife or I felt like driving to our normal spot. The pizza was dripping with grease, and lacked flavor. Overpriced as well. That is what we get for being lazy.

drove by here a bunch of times. looked like a delivery oriented place so i skipped it til the day the shop i usually got slices at had none left. honeyspot had slices and they were ok for the typical reheated not superfresh pizza you get when you order slices. it was not bad, honestly much better than i expected and likely i will be stopping in here again next time i am looking for pizza. i went in and ordered slices, not sure if they even had tables.

Update — Everything below still applies. Except the last part. The evening manager was much nicer and apologetic than the day shift manager and has agreed to not charge me for certain things so we still order from here. And if i had to suggest dinner I’d go with the steak and cheese grinder. Never disappoints. Delivery is a hit or miss. Chicken on salad comes cold. Manager suggested having the chicken on the side(the tomatoes make the chicken cold), then charged me 0.75 to put it on the side. They upcharge for every little thing. A cobb salad that costs $ 7.25 ended up being $ 10.75 after I requested a full egg instead of a half egg, no bacon, and chicken on the side. The also charged me $ 2.00 for the salad dressing that’s supposed to come with the salad. I called the manager to complain about this and his response was if I don’t like it to go somewhere else. So I will. Good advice, manager.

I just tried these guys the other day at work because unlike some other pizza places in Branford, these guys deliver. I’m giving them a tentative 4 stars, since I’ve only had them once but I think they are really good. The three-cheese white pizza was excellent. The red pizzas were OK, but in fairness they were cold when I got to them and I don’t care for cold red pizza. Their dough is slightly chewy and definitely the most substantial of the local thin crust pizzas. I’ll have to go and sit in sometime and see how it is hot.
