History

Established in 2012.

Jean and Dwayne Mullen opened Recreational Pools Spas & More in Brandon in August 2012. Jean & Dwayne each worked in the pool/​spa industry for over 30 years. Jean as a purchasing manager, Dwayne as store manager of a North Tampa retail store. Rather than purchase the north Tampa store that Dwayne managed, they instead opened in South Hillsborough county — closer to their home. They used their vast knowledge of the industry to bring the top manufacturers to their store in Brandon. They are proud to offer Bull Frog Spas, Strong, Pinnacle, Sunrise, Nordic and Dream Maker. The nation’s BEST hot tubs — all in one place. They carry pools made in the USA — no imports — proud to carry pool product from the nation’s best: Wilbar, Swimline, Pentair, Waterway, Hayward just to name a few.
