Absolutely deplorable! My wife dealt with Paul, who is as unethical and unprofessional as they come. Without informing us, nor getting approval, he installed a new battery at the wonderfully low price of almost $ 250! He had no answer as to why he did not check to get authorization, and stated it was a «specialty» battery (only needed a standard car battery). As in he «specializes» in conning people. Additionally, he threatened to start charging storage, though he did NOT inform us the car was ready for pick up, and lied that the car had been there for a month and a half, when in fact it had been there for 3 weeks waiting for their parts. They also tacked on a $ 40 service charge that was not in the estimate. When asked what that was, Paul stated it was for topping off various fluids. They fixed the window ONLY, and did not do anything related to fluids. He had no response to our questioning of this. After repeatedly going back and forth on this point, he relented, and took the charge off. You would be a fool to take your car there. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and the Attorney General’s office.

The people working here are excellent to deal with. No surprises here, and the whole process was smooth starting from the appointment until the pick up of the car. Price was in the same ballpark as other auto shops, but the existing reputation led me here. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again for future services.

If The auto Place didn’t deliver, I wouldn’t keep returning! It is too bad that most satisfied customers don’t write reviews, isn’t it? I am pleased to write one for The Auto Place, because I am always treated as an intelligent female, the work is done to perfection, and if there is any kind of wait, I am informed and can make my own decision regarding same. Don’t just take my word for it; go there yourself and see. You won’t be disappointed.

My son rear-​ended someone in his little ’04 Dodge Neon. Auto Repair Place didn’t give an estimate after I’d had it towed there because the hood wouldn’t open and they didn’t want to risk bending it so it couldn’t be closed after. The referred me to a body shop who did an estimate while it was still at Auto Repair Place. Too expensive, so the car was totaled.
Auto Repair Place kept my car on their lot for 2 days w/​o charging me. When I showed up with a tow dolly they helped me load up the Neon, something I’d never done before. They were kind, helpful, and went above and beyond, never charging me a dime.

This place had my truck for two weeks to fix a problem. After poor communication, unauthorized repairs and $ 1300, my truck is worse then when I initially dropped it off! When I called to tell them I was having problems with their supposed repair, they refuse to make me a priority to set things straight. This is by far the worst business I’ve ever had to deal with!
