Description

Specialties

Residential organizing: closets, garages, kitchens, basements, offices; Clutter-busting; Reconfiguring spaces; Getting homes ready for sale; Organizing solutions that work for your life (not a «magazine-perfect» version of your life!); Revising and re-imagining your space to work best for you. My clients include young families, busy executives, retirees, college students. I have certificates in chronic disorganization (working with people who have ADD, «early» hoarding, and similar problems with decision making) from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization.

History

Established in 2010.

I discovered that professional organizing was a viable business when a friend dared me to imagine doing work that I love. Within months of accepting the challenge, I began happily helping people cope with their «stuff.» I take ongoing courses in organizing from the ICD (Institute for Challenging Disorganization) & attend the annual ICD conference & the annual NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) conference. I am an active member of NAPO and its Colorado chapter, and the ICD. I am a board member of NAPO Colorado (president, 2013 – 15; PR/social media director 2012 – 13). In 2014, I enrolled in an 18-month course of coaching classes, and intend to become a certified organizer coach in 2016.

Meet the Business Owner

Judith H.

Business Owner

I’m originally from MA, moved to CO in 1994 to escape the crowded Boston/N.Shore area. Even though several thousand other transplants also have moved here, Boulder/Denver still offer a much easier, less stressful lifestyle than Boston. I love to hike and walk in the open space, dance (NIA), read novels, play with my granddogs, hang with my family, travel, and explore the West.

Previous work experience includes: Technical writer; PR writer; Newspaper editor; Book editor; School fundraiser; Grant writer; Home renovation project manager; PTA leader. I have a B.A. in English from UMass (1977) and an M.A. in journalism from CU (2009). I’m married to a mathematician/software developer and we have three grown children.
