Preferred Printing rocks because they actually divorced working with the company I work for. No joke, they told me that they did not want to print for my company anymore… I thought, «Good for them for knowing their limits!» I wanted to love Preferred Printing because they are a great local printer in Boulder that offers green printing options,(meaning soy based ink and post consumer recycled paper) but they just couldn’t’t live up to my company’s standards and that made me sad. Things started out great, but as proofs went back and forth for business cards and stationary, their colors were just not matching up with the original colors of our logo. I approved a color that looked almost perfect to our logo, but then when the business cards came to my office, the colors were all wrong and I requested that we not get charged for something I did not sign off on. Preferred Printing never charged my company for the business cards and then the manager got on the phone with me and divorced our business… In a genuinely nice way he told me that it was just not a good fit. You gotta give a small local printer props for knowing that something is not a good match. I got a good laugh out of it and would still happily recommend Preferred Printing for smaller and not-as-needy clients. * Star uno is for being a local and small printers ** Bold star number two is for speedy and diligent customer service *** Laminated star three is for offering green printing options Star four was taken away because well, they wasted a lot of my time and star five was erased due to the potent printing smell in the office.
